Summary

BRANCH MANAGER
Strategic Growth Management, De Novo Branches, Turnarounds
Equity and Debt Financing, Mergers and Acquisitions
Excellent Branch Manager with extensive experience in De Novo branches, mergers and acquisitions in both
corporate and community banking environments. Highly developed communication skills and multi-cultural
experience enabled the branch to establish a mutually beneficial relationship for the company and the
communities it served. Created a sales driven workforce through staff training and development including a
highly competitive compensation program for top performers. Through strategic planning and budget forecasting
kept the branch on plan during the crucial assimilation periods of acquisition and mergers.

¨ Used diplomacy and previous multi-cultural experience bridging the transition from a small
town bank to a corporate environment successfully.
¨ Able to resource a Southern California Edison program to install and subsidize the cost of updating the
compressors and air-conditioning units. The new energy efficient systems saved the company
thousands of dollars in energy costs and qualified the bank for a generous rebate from the State of
California.
¨ Negotiated a deal with Major Asset Recovery Systems to liquidate or scrap obsolete
equipment stored in branch facilities. This created lease space, which generated valuable
income for the entire bank.
¨ Highly effective leadership skills led to a 96% employee retention rate as well as exceeding
productivity goals by 47%. The branch was consistently honored with performance awards
for resolving customer difficulties in an expedient and tactful manner.
¨ Four out of twelve employees were promoted to management positions through my
development of best practices and commitment to ongoing professional training.
