The event in brief:

Supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi) and the German
Engineering Federation (VDMA), EKONID will be hosting a 3-day high profile trade mission in
Indonesia from 2nd to 5th November 2014. The trade mission is especially designed in order to
support small and medium-sized companies in their business activities abroad.
The event will be split up into two different parts beginning with a 1-day conference in Jakarta.
In the course of the conference high profile speakers from participating German companies
active in the heavy equipment sector will introduce their business activities and the latest
technologies from Germany. Furthermore beforehand experts from the public sector and related
associations will provide a general overview of the current state of Indonesias construction and
construction machinery sector.
On the following two days Indonesian companies will have the opportunity to meet directly with
the German key decision makers during two days of matchmaking. Participating companies will
be able to discuss future business cooperations with company representatives and share their
view and expertise on the sector.
