Research design

There are two things include in the research design. The first one is the nature of the study and
the second one is the purpose of study.
Our research is quantitative in nature because the variables we have selected are quantifiable
according to previous researchers and there are developed scales to measure the intensity of our
variables.
Secondly the purpose of our study is hypothesis testing because we have proposed a theoretical
framework and we are trying to justify it by testing our proposed hypothesis.

Type of investigation
Both correlation and causal types of investigation will be used as we will be checking the
association between the variables first in correlation, and then we will see that how one variable
is going to affect the other variable (positively or negatively).

Study setting
Our study setting will be non-contrived as we will be collecting the data in the original
environment without any manipulation in the environment.

Interference
Our interference with the participants will be moderate because we think that participants will
need us for some understanding of the questions asked to them.

Time horizon
We will be doing cross-sectional study because we will be colleting the data for one time only.
Limitations for longitudinal study
First, we dont have much resources and financing so that we could collect the data for different
time durations. Secondly, we have shortage of time as we have to finish our research paper in 4
months. Third, it is difficult to locate the same person from which you have already collected the
data, and there is a possibility that the respondent will feel irritated by our visits again an again.

Unit of analysis
Our respondent will be employees and customers of the same company, so that makes dyad as
our unit of analysis.
Population
Our population would be the employees and customers of Nestle Pakistan, Warid Pakistan and
General electric Pakistan.
Sample size
Our sample size is of 141 respondents each of customers and employees.

Sampling technique
We are using non-probability sampling. From this type we have selected the purposive sampling
technique, and from purposive sampling we have further selected the purposive judgmental
sampling technique.
Reason for sampling technique
The reason behind selecting this sampling technique is that we are collecting the data from those
organizations and employees who have our desired information.
Response Rate
We have floated approximately 350 questionnaires and we succeeded in getting back 141
responses. So according to the calculation our response rate was almost 40%.
