Armour Hard Drawn Aluminium Pipe

01 Volatility & Escalating World Copper
Prices

The volatility of the world copper price which

is driven by speculators and demand in the Far

East is here to stay. Aluminium remains one of
the world's most plentiful commodities and a
more stable market allows Armour Group to
provide its customers with a 12 month fixed
price for tube. Hence customers can enjoy a
comfort factor which is no longer available to
those using copper.

05 Mechanical Support
Some contractors have already made their own
decision to use the tube as well as the connector and Armour is offering a supplementary
warranty to contractors using the Aluminium
pipework system which reflects that offered by
the OEM.
-Internationally recorgnised certificate TUV
SUD
-3 Years mechanical warranty against pin-hole

02 Armour Refrigerant Aluminium Pipe

Hard Drawn - A Modern Solution
Armour Refrigerant Aluminium Hard Drawn
Pipe is manufactured to international specifications using our own dies and goes through a
robust extrusion process. Our seamless pipes
are medically treated and relevant pressure
test are conducted by TUV SUD, making it
suitable for use in all modern refrigeration
systems from R22 though to R410A.
Our inventory facility carries stocks from
7/8" through to 15/8 to meet markets
demand while odd/large sizes pipes can be
produced on intent basis. Our air conditioning
pipeline components, fittings and pipe joint kits
are compatible with the world's leading VRF air
conditioning and refrigeration systems. We
achieve this because we worked together with
customers on product development, right from
the start and with every success we had with
the annealed coil; the product can only get
better.
Armour Refrigerant Aluminium Pipe Hard
Drawn is a thoroughly modern solution to a
traditional need. The pipes that we produced
not only ease assembly but with the
all-aluminium couplings, make it one of the best
designed systems in modern air conditioning.
The substitution of seamless aluminium tube
for the copper as an alternate material which
has been used since air conditioning and refrigeration systems were introduced opens up a
huge range of cost-effective opportunities for
the industry.

04 Benefits of Armour Hard Drawn Aluminium Pipe

03 No Need for Big Machinery & Heating Equipment

Copper must be soldered or brazed to seal a joint and this sometimes requires the use of big
equipments that produce strong heat especially working with larger pipes. Armour Aluminium
Pipes avoid the need for this and make both installation and maintenance easier, cleaner and
more cost effective with our specially formulated Armour Braze Rod which is able to seal
seamlessly so a leak-free system depends less on the skill of the installers. In other words,
Armour Refrigerant Pipes are easier to handle, quicker to install.

Experience in the field says that Armour Aluminium Pipe does not
need any corrective action such as flushing unlike copper which
leaves oxide when performing repair works. This saves both time
and money and keeps the entire system & compressor clean and
efficient.
NO special brazing / Small caps / swaging tools required
NO big equipment and heavy machinery required
NO nitrogen purging required
NO system contamination

Aluminium alloy is a mixture of aluminium

metal and other types of metal. Aluminium
alloys are usually made to enhance material
properties.
Aluminium is light, strong, and resistant to
corrosion and cracking. But for aluminium to be
a strong construction material, it needs to be
mixed with small amounts of other metals.
When mixed in appropriate portions,
aluminiums strength can equal that of steel.
Yet its weight is still only one-third of the
weight of steel.
Aluminium alloys are often used in engineering
structures and components where light weight
or corrosion resistance is required.
The properties of aluminium change when
other metals are added. These other metals can
give aluminium greater strength and flexibility.
The extrusion technique has almost unlimited
possibilities for design. That, and the fact that
we can build in features that save both work
and money, makes aluminium extrusions
become the ideal construction material.
