In the Name of ALLAH, the Most Gracious, Most

Merciful.

Praise is for ALLAH, and prayers and blessings for


HIS noble Prophet [s.a.w.]. (Hadith)

Our Lord, grant us in this world Goodness and in


the Hereafter, Goodness. (Quran)

Oh Allah! Oh Turner of Hearts, affirm my heart in


Your Religion. (Hadith)

Let us pause, a time for our Eeman. (Hadith)

Eemaan has over seventy branches or over sixty


branches, the most excellent of which is the
declaration that there is no God but Allah and the
humblest of which is the removal of what is injurious
from the path; and modesty is a branch of Eeman.

Actions are only by intentions. (Hadith)

TOGETHERNESS

And hold fast, all of you together to the


rope of ALLAH, and do not seperate.

1. Making Friends

You shall not enter Paradise until you believe; and


you will not believe until you love one another. Shall
I not guide you to a thing, which when done , will
make you love one another? Spread the greeting of
Salaam among you. (Hadith)

a) When was the last time you greeted someone new


in you organization/masjid?
b) Did you invite him/her over to your
org/home/office?
c) Was there a feeling of accomplishment in knowing
someone better?
2. Staying Together by Doing Things Together

And the believers, men and women, are protecting


friends of one another, they enjoin the right and
forbid the wrong and establish Salat and obey
ALLAH and HIS messengers. They are the ones
whom ALLAH will bless with mercy. (Quran)

d) When was the last time we worked together to


address a public need?
e) Did you spend extra time to listen to some
members of our community? Any talk worthwhile
sharing?
f.) Personally, what moved you to join/do it?
3. Genuine Love; Mutual Help and Respect

You will see the believers in their mutual kindness,


love and sympathy just like one body. When a limb
complains, the whole body responds to it with
wakefulness and fever (Hadith)

None of you believes until he loves his brother as he


loves himself. (Hadith)

g) When was your last visit to a friend who was


sick?
h) When did you last sincerely took a point in trade
for a smile from his/her face?
I) In one minute, can you enumerate at least three
good plans for a brother/sister in need?
4. Mending Conflicts

The believers are nothing else than brothers.


Therefore make peace between your brothers and
observe your duty to Allah that happily you may
obtain mercy. (Quran)

In togetherness is grace and, in diffusion, trial.

j) Do you know of a recent incident when we tried


to mend relationships that went worse?
k) Did you try thinking of ways to further
strengthen their relationship?
l) How do you feel about the coming campaign and
elections in your homeplace?
5. Being Ready to Accept

Then if they repent, establish Salat and pay Zakat,


then immediately make them brothers in faith. We
elaborate the verses for people who understand.

Islam to a non-Muslim friend last week?
n) When was the last time you gave a non-Muslim
friend a simple gift or help?
o) How do you see your non-Muslim acquaintances?
