Why?

Retain all existing turning movements at Burrard and Pacific

To maintain vehicular access

Widen approx. 100m of Burrard Bridge as it approaches


the Burrard-Pacific intersection to allow 2 southbound
motor vehicle lanes and 4 northbound at the intersection

To maintain motor vehicle travel times


To create space to restore walking on both sides of the bridge

protected intersection that minimizes conflicts
