build a library and tap it to enter the mode. Extra Cred has
30 levels, and
you need the fourth currency, pencils, to unlock each
level. At the
beginning of the mode you're given 40 pencils, good to
play four levels.
There are two types of games in Extra Cred. First, the
story. Your gang meets
Kallie, a new student who is good with words but not with
conversation.
She often uses difficult words and you have to choose the
synonym of those
words from four options. Say she said she does not want
to be "redundant" and
when Julian asks what did she say, you say that she's
afraid of being
"repetitive".
The story goes on with your gang tries to involve Kallie to
social events.
The story will progress with each level, with the final goal
of unlocking
Kallie. When you've completed a level, you'll gain rings
according to your
score. You can keep trying to get the maximum amount of
rings available.
Each level costs 10 pencils and there are two ways to get
them. First, the
library generates 2-3 pencils everyday, so you can unlock
a level every
4-5 days. There are 30 levels before Kallie joins your
school. There are also
some major evaluation levels that cost 20 pencils.
Otherwise, you can buy pencils and rings packs from the
store. Watch out,
they are expensive. The cheapest pack, at roughly $3, will
get you only
50 pencils (and 100 rings), meaning it's only good for five
levels.
The competitive ones among you will return to Extra Cred
mode again and
again to beat your friends' high scores for each level. On
the evalution
mode, speed matters so some of you will strive again and
again to be number
one and keep it that way.
Pro Tip: In the story mode, you might be bored with the
same lines and end
up accidentally tap on a wrong option. Rather than tap
"Next" to advance the
storyline, tap on the left side of the dialogue box. The
storyline will
advance and you're safe to choose the right option when
prompted.
Since you can revisit the Extra Credit levels again and
again, I was tempted
to write a walkthrough for the story mode. But Pixelberry
creates this mode
to help you learning English, and that's what I want you to
do. Like the main
game itself, mistake costs you nothing.
Since I won't spend any cash (or credit card bill) to buy the easy. Persisting in logging in will only drain your device's
pencils, anyway,
battery and heat
it will be some time for me before I will be able to unlock
your device.
Kallie.

And if you are patient, all the moneys you've lost can be
regained over time.
Q: So Mia and Katherine are lesbians?
A: Well yes, they love each other.
Q: Have you finished High School Story?
A: No, because High School Story is an ongoing game.

Quest
General
Edit
High School Story is essentially about building a new school that welcomes everyone despite their past, but the game is more than just about
building the school. Through playing quests that allow the story to develop, the player learns more about the students in their school and levels up by
completing story quests.
Questing
Edit
Completing quests take a certain amount of time that is detailed down the right hand side of the quest screen above the green 'START' button.
Usually take 6-10 parts
Rewards
Edit
When you complete a quest you get rewards, this can either be coins, rings, books, experience (XP), a new classmate or a mixture. This is also
shown along with the duration of a quest on the right side. When a quest duration is done, the red banner icon will flash so you know.
Getting New Quests
Edit
Completing story quests are the only way a player can level up in the game. Rewards for story quests are generally XP, which is necessary to level
up. There is a certain order story quests are always completed in, depending on what level a player is, and how far along that level they are. Story
quests are always the quest shown at the top of the vertical list on the left side of the questing page. Sometimes they go on and on, connected to a
different part.
Different Types of Quests
Edit
In the game, there are different types of quests you can complete. There are story quests, classmate help quests, special/seasonal quests and
(premium) time-sensitive quests. You can only earn XP in main story quests.

Except Julian
Hope disappears right after dinner and does not come home. Julian and his mother spend the night driving around the
city trying to find her, which fails. The next day, your character organizes a search party with Chelsea, Julian, and two
other classmates. After some time, it starts to rain and there's still no sign of Hope. Your character remembers that
Hope kissed Asher at a beach party and rushes over to the beach with Julian to find her sitting on a rock crying.
Chelsea apologizes and promises to stop posting cruel things about Hope on Statton's Gossip Board, but her friends do
not because Asher keeps egging them on. Your character and Chelsea decide to confront him at his house where a
loud party is going on. Chelsea tells Asher to stop his friends from cyberbullying Hope, but he makes excuses saying
they were being "funny" and "just messing around." She tells him about Hope getting very upset, but he blows that
comment off too by calling Hope a crybaby so Chelsea breaks up with with Asher and he threatens to ruin both of their
lives.
A week later, you run into Julian and ask how Chelsea and Hope are doing. He says things aren't good and asks you to
pick them up from school with him. When you arrive, they run up to the car as other students look at them angrily.
They tell you that Asher and his friends are targeting both of them. Hope doesn't know how to handle it, but Chelsea
mentions a list she found on the Cybersmile website about how to deal with bullies.
1. Stop replying or fighting back online.
2. Block and report the cyberbully to the administrator.
3. Tell your parents and the school.
She writes a letter to the admin. Hope is hesitant to tell her parents and the school about her problems, but Chelsea
convinces her to by saying they need the backup. A few hours later, they call your character over. Hope says she was
afraid her parents were going to take her phone away or make her transfer to another school, but they were really nice
and said everything was going to be fine.
Chelsea and her parents called Statton and talked to the principal who said he would report the cyberbullying incident
if he receives documentation so your character asks a Nerd to help out. They collect the prove needed and Hope and
Chelsea agree to meet the principal the next day. Julian doesn't like the idea of them going alone so he asks you to
come for moral support.
The next day, Hope and Chelsea tell your character everything worked out with the principal and he said he would call
the police if necessary. About a week later, you run into Hope at a bowling alley and ask her how she's doing. She says
it's a long story so you buy her a milkshake at a '50s style dinner. She tells your character Asher was called into the
principal's office while a police car was outside the school. After that, he stayed away from her and Chelsea. Things
aren't perfect, but they are getting better because Hope got involved with The Cybersmile Foundation, read about how
to deal with bullies, and talked to people who get bullied like her. Now she doesn't feel alone anymore. She thanks
your character with a hug and tells him/her she wants everyone who gets bullied to know they aren't alone and they
can get help by going to cybersmile.org and talking to a trusted parent or friend.
