A. How to use Containers to identify objects. (Note: always use the SELECT TOOL for functions)
Steps: 1. Select or copy a picture of an object and paste it on the flipchart.
2. Select Connectors at the tool box and draw lines from the object to be identified.
3. Select TEXT or T at the tool box for naming the parts of the object.
4. Adjust text using the BIN BOX increase object size for a larger font.
5. Group the connectors and picture using the BIN BOX click grouped.
6. Lock the picture, right click select Locked
7. Draw a box/ rectangle beside the connectors from the shape tool to contain words.
8. Duplicate the box/rectangle as many as you needed, select tool - BIN BOX
click duplicate.
9. Lock the boxes/ rectangles to unmoved, right click select Locked
10. Select Browser window Resource Browser - Property Browser:
a. Click boxes/ rectangles - select container can contain specific object contain
object - return if not contained true
11. Click all TEXTs then select Property Browser container return if not contain true
12. Place all TEXTs in the UPPER LAYER. Select the texts then right click

select reorder select top layer.


13. Place all the BOXES/RECTANGLES in the middle layer, select the box then right click
Select reorder select middle layer
14. Finally control S or save.
B. How to use Magic tool and Translucency to magnify objects.
For Magic Tool
Steps: 1. Select or copy a picture of an object and paste it on the flipchart.
2. Reorder images to top layer and middle layer. Select tool right click select reorder
select top layer for images on top and middle layer for images at the back.
3. Arrange the objects to the desired size using select tool, then lock the middle images
right click select locked.
4. Arrange the objects to the desired size using select tool, then lock the top images above
the middle images right click select locked.
5. Select Magic Tool at the Resource Browser select Lesson Building Tools select
Gadgets select Revealer drag and drop to the flipchart.
6. Select tool box select magic ink click magic ink inside the magic tool/circle then
locked the objects together.
7. Control S or Save.
For Translucency
Steps: 1. Select or copy a picture of an object and paste it on the flipchart.
2. Reorder images to top layer and middle layer. Select tool right click select reorder
select top layer for images on top and middle layer for images at the back.
3. Arrange the objects to the desired size using select tool, then lock the middle images
right click select locked. (Bigger images is recommended).
4. Arrange the objects to the desired size using select tool, then lock the top images above
the middle images right click select locked.
5. Use select tool click on the picture/object then select translucency (circle object with
yellow color) to magnify the object.
6. Control S or Save.
C. How to use Hidden tool to reveal objects.
Steps: 1. Select or copy a picture of an object and paste it on the flipchart.
2. Arrange images to the desired position.
3. Use select tool select tool box (right side of the screen) select shape tool, choose your
desired shape to use as revealer.
4. Resize the shapes, small enough to be seen, then duplicate use select tool right click
Select duplicate as many as you needed.
5. Reorder the shapes in the top layer and then reorder the images in the middle layer
(right click select reorder select top layer or middle layer).
6. Placed the shapes in the image you want to reveal the object/part.
7. Select one shape by clicking on the shape then go to action browser (left side of the

screen) select current selection find the HIDDEN TOOL then click it inside the
hidden tool function go to action properties select target click on the image you to
hide then click apply changes. (Do this to the other shapes till you end)
8. Click on the shapes to hide objects.
9. Control S or save.
10. Click on the shapes one at a time and see how it works, then click reset tool (look in
your tool box the one with red color arrows) to return objects to their default position.
D. How to use Label Tool to reveal names, objects, etc.
Steps: 1. Select or copy a picture of an object and paste it on the flipchart.
2. Go to property browser select label tool select caption then type the name of the
picture or object customize your size then select behavior click tool tip.
3. Control S or Save.
