A supply chain manager with invaluable knowledge of managing projects,
resources and staff in an effective and efficient manner. Highly focused with a
comprehensive understanding of logistics, procurement and the supply chain.
Boasting a consistent & proven track record of successfully employing best
business practices that improve efficiency, reduce operating costs whilst
increasing performance, all to tight time scales and within budget.
SCOPE AND IMPACT OF JOB:
As organizations strive to focus on core competencies and becoming more
flexible, they reduce their ownership of raw materials sources and distribution
channels. These functions are increasingly being outsourced to other firms that
can perform the activities better or more cost effectively. Here the role of supply
chain personnel comes, they effectively makes a sync of requirement of
department with supply or service of the same.
The person in this position is responsible for all supplies as well as service for
Mechanical and Electrical works requirements of Projects under the said
department.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

I plan, manage and coordinate all activities related to the sourcing and
procurement of Mechanical and Electrical materials, components, supplies and
services my department needs to run its operations. I must ensure that supplies
are available when they are needed to meet changing levels of demand for a
