Parents: By placing your signature above you are stating that you
understand that the Elmwood School District, the EPC Wolves
basketball program, and anyone associated with the tournament
cannot be held liable for injuries. Your insurance will cover any
injuries that may occur as a result of playing in the tournament.
**Note: Grades 6-high school will play Saturday, July 25 beginning at 9 a.m.
at the High School using both the Lien and Red Zone gyms.
We will accept the first 8 teams who register for each division
T- shirts will be awarded to the first place teams. The shirts will be mailed to
the winning team.
Cost: $60 per team (checks payable to the Elmwood School District)
Free admission for spectators
Gatorade and water available for purchase

EPC Wolves 3-on-3 Rules

WIAA rules apply


All levels will play two 10 minute halves with a running clock
1 minute half-time
1 time-out per half use them or lose them (clock will stop)
5 minute warm-up before each game
Be prepared to play 15 minutes before scheduled time
Made baskets inside the 3-point line are worth 1 point
3 point shots are worth 2 points
The 3 point line is the take back line and the ball must be taken back to this
line after each change of possession (must have at least one foot behind)
On made baskets, fouls, out of bounds, timeouts, etc. the ball will be put into
play by the defense checking the ball. Once the defense has checked the
ball, the ball is live. The offense can shoot, pass, or dribble the ball into play.
Subs can come in on any dead ball
Coin toss to determine who gets ball first.
On the first five team fouls, the fouled team keeps possession. If the basket is
made 1 point is awarded to the fouled team and the fouled team keeps
possession.
On the 6th team foul and after, all fouls will count as 1 point (2 points if fouled
in the act of shooting and shot is made). Possession changes.
A technical foul on a player, coach, or fan will result in an automatic 2 points
for the opposing team. Opposing team will get possession.
There are no individual fouls kept
Overtime will result in sudden death free throw shooting, alternating between
the two teams and alternating between team members. One player from
each team will shoot, if one makes the basket and one misses, winner is the
team who made the basket. If both miss or both make it, the next designated
player from each team will shoot. Go on through the line-up until one misses
and one makes their basket to determine the winner.
Officials and all workers are to be treated with respect. Profanity, fighting or
excessive arguing with officials will not be tolerated and will result in a
technical foul. Additionally, the player, coach, or spectator receiving the
technical foul will be disqualified for the remainder of the game. Two
technical fouls in the tournament will result in expulsion from the tournament.
Players can play up a grade, but cannot play down a grade.
Locker rooms will not be available

Bring your own basketballs for warm-ups (balls must be bagged and kept out
of the hallways)
