A Term License allows the software to be used for a specific amount of time. At
the conclusion of the purchased term, the license expires. License keys are auto
-generated once an order is fully processed.
Activate a Term License:
From the startup dialog select Term License.
Click on the Request License Key link.
Enter the user information: LAI####, E-store password, E-mail address and Term L
icense Activation Code. The Term License Activation Code is a unique code given
to you or your company when a Term License was ordered through our e-store. Chec
k the e-mail you received when you first placed the order; it will contain your
Term License Activation Code. If you don't have the Code, you may leave this fie
ld blank. However, receiving your License Key may take up to 72 hours.
If your order is still processing, you will be notified to check back later for
your key.
The program will open and operate under the available term.

Installing Updates and Upgrades
The Simple License Sharing feature is available for Single User and Term License
s at no cost. Users can share one license with up to two computers. This is a gr
eat option for those who want to use the software on their work pc and one other
machine (home or laptop). The License Sharing feature requires a persistent Int
ernet connection and all shared computers must be using the same program version
.

Important: License Sharing requires a persistent Internet connection from a comp
uter while it is using or wishes to use the software!
Installation:
From an active Single User or Term License installation, select Installation and
License Manager... from the Tools menu.
Select Set up License Sharing.
Enter a Sharing Name (see below) and an e-mail address. Click Submit.
Once license sharing is established, the program generates a Shared License Key
that is used by the other computer you wish to share the license with. The key w
ill be sent to the e-mail provided, allowing you to forward it to the shared com
puter.
Note: The Sharing Name is used to identify which computer/user is currently usin
g the license. It can be anything you want, but it is recommended that you NOT u
se the same name for everyone sharing the license. For Example if you would like
to share your license between your office and home computer, a likely scheme wo
uld use the names: "Home" and "Office".
To Activate the License on a Shared Computer:
Install the software in the normal manner.
From the Startup Dialog box, select Shared License.

Enter the Shared License Key (cut and paste from e-mail, if possible)
Click Activate.
Enter the user information (name and e-mail)
Click Activate.
If successful, the program will connect to the shared license.
To Disable/Terminate License Sharing:
Open the program, select Installation and License Manager... from the Tools menu
.
Select Convert to Single User License.
A prompt will ask you if you really want to convert; select Yes.
A pop-up message will let you know License Sharing has been terminated.
Details:
License Sharing only allows one concurrent use of the program. If the shared lic
ense is in use by another user when the program is started, you will be notified
and the license allocation information will be displayed.
If the original installation of the program (where sharing was originated) is un
installed, license sharing will continue to remain active for all other shared u
sers unless you were the only user on the shared license, then the license is re
moved.
The License Sharing option allows any shared computer to permanently check out t
he shared license. This will make the license unavailable to other shared instal
lations. Be careful who you share with!
Taking a Shared Computer Offsite With No Internet Connection:
Occasionally you may wish to take your computer (i.e. laptop) offsite, disconnec
ted from a persistent internet connection, and still have the ability to open th
e program and use it. With License Sharing you can do just that, however the sha
red license key MUST be Checked Out before disconnecting it from the internet. W
hile the shared license is checked out you do not have to be connected to the in
ternet to use the program, however only the computer that has the license key ch
ecked out may use the program until either the license key is checked back in, o
r the check out time expires.
To check out a shared license key, do the following:

Open the Installation and License Manager from the Tools menu and click on the C
heck Out Shared License... button (if you do not see this button, then the progr
am has not been properly shared. See instructions above for sharing a license ke
y)
With the Check Out Shared License dialog box open, select your check out period
and click the Check Out button
To check in a shared license key, do the following:

Open the program on the shared computer where you wish to check in the shared li
cense key
Open the Installation and License Manager from the Tools menu and click on the C
heck In Shared License... button (if you do not see this button, then the progra
m has not been properly shared. See instructions above for sharing a license key

When Upgrading a License:

The installation of a product update will NOT terminate any shared license accou
nts you have established, however please note that a license sharing key will on
ly work for computers that are within the same major revision level. If upgradin
g from AGi32 2.2x to AGi32 2.3x, a new license share will need to be created, an
d can only be shared with other installations of AGi32 2.3x.

te License Sharing section.
