Individual Assignment, 2000 words (+or - 10%), 60% of the total Mark
Topic:
Provide a critical overview and insight of entrepreneurial
process (key components), make comparison between some
key theoretical models and conceptual framework for the
new venture creation process (e.g., Timmons and Gartner)
Deadline: Business School, MBA Lounge, (Hub, 5th Floor, 5.07) on or by Tuesday,
18/05/2015, 9.00 a.m., as well as an electronic version via the Blackboard
(appropriate Module). You can also submit before the deadline at the module boxes
in the PG Lounge room will remain open.

You should draw on a wide range of potential sources and reference for your case
study and assignment:
Lectures, PowerPoint slides and case studies, delivered by the Module Leader
(please do not simply copy and paste material from the PowerPoint slides. Do
use and expand upon as with any other sources and do make reference to
appropriate lectures and slides)
Own lecture notes
Reading list, articles and reports on the blackboard and on the slides;
Academic articles, case studies (from library databases, refereed journals, text
and other books, etc.) in addition to the reading list, those offered by the
lectures and/or saved on the Blackboard
Relevant websites, consultancy reports, professional associations reports
Indicators and reports (secondary sources)
You should not rely on a single principal source for your assignment. You should
also ensure that you fully cite and reference all the sources you draw on for this
work; failure to do so could constitute plagiarism. The literature should be
thoroughly referenced throughout and the analysis should be linked to theories and
concepts introduced during the course of the module.
Marking
1. Marks will be awarded for concrete use of the literature (with respect to the points
mentioned earlier), and your capacity to analyse and interpret the facts.

2. All other usual criteria apply a good report will be well structured, clearly
written, have minimum typographical and grammatical errors.
3. Referencing should be professional and complete. The Harvard system is required.
The marking criteria are in accordance with the schools PG marking criteria
and the guidance as follows
