In defense of the Prophet: What was the Prophet

Muhammad instructed to follow?

"He sends down water from the cloud, then watercourses flow (with water) according
to their measure, and the torrent bears along the swelling foam, and from what they
melt in the fire for the sake of making ornaments or apparatus arises a scum like it; thus
does Allah compare truth and falsehood; then as for the scum, it passes away as a
worthless thing; and as for that which profits the people, it tarries in the earth; thus
does Allah set forth parables." Sura 13/17

Allah gives us Muslims the GREEN light to DEBATE :

"You shall invite to the path of your Lord with wisdom and kind enlightenment, and
DEBATE with them in the best possible manner. Your Lord knows best who has strayed
from His path, and He knows best who are the guided ones." Sura 16/125
One of the best things I like about discussions is debating is good and it is healthy;
debating is intellectually stimulating. Debating is one of the best civilized ways to
handle a dispute or a conflict and many people would rather kill or go to war
over especially religion. You can also learn a great deal from debating or attending
debates. Why?
Well if we look at it from a scientific point of view-debates will give people who don't
know the argument and opposing arguments a chance to analyze and examine all
apposing views and all opposing arguments, this will better enable people to make a
informed decision on what is truth.
People will not be able to see the TRUTH, if they cannot detect the FALSEHOOD. In
the absence of TRUTH, FALSEHOOD appears to be TRUE and this is why debating is
the best tool that one can use to eradicate FALSEHOOD and reach the TRUTH.
Debating is using the Mind, the Pen, the Mouth...
"And say: Truth has (now) arrived, and falsehood perished: for falsehood is (by its
nature) bound to perish, Sura 17/81

In the Hebrew Scriptures it says:

PRESENT YOUR CASE, says Yahweh. SET FORTH YOUR ARGUMENTS...
Isaiah 41:21

The Qur'an says:

"AND DO NOT PURSUE THAT OF WHICH YOU HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE.
Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart - about all those [one] will be questioned."
Sura 17/36
Debating is not for every one as we can see but some people have to realize that in the
atmosphere of debating things like this come with the territory. Debating is not for the
2|Page

soft hearted, the turn the other cheek type of character. But any way, go back and
analyze people's statements and see who provides the most evidence backed by the
Qur'an. I'm am just here to present the FACTS and if any body can refute my
position about the Tawrah, the Injil are not corrupted or lost according to the Qur'an,
the Hadith and Sunnah are not validated in the Qur'an, the Children of Israel are not a
nation and are dead and gone and are not scattered throughout Allah's earth, then I will
have to submit, but this has not been done.

We see a lot of people who come here instead of providing clear proofs, evidence these
Muslims are half in and half out of the Qur'an, shuffling and jiving, then asking
questions to answer question and they debate with asking questions rather then go
inside the Qur'an to prove their point.

According to those Muslims who fights and defend the

Hadith and Sunnah
Sunnah: The legal way or ways, orders, acts of worship and statements of the Prophet
that are ideals and models to be followed by Muslims.
For some Muslims, the term Sunnah means nothing. It carries no weight in their lives
nor does it inspire them to correct their actions accordingly. Through this prevailing
ignorance, it has become a word which is outdated. But the reality is such, that by us
rejecting this divine institution, we have taken ourselves down the slippery road of
destruction and misery. To reject the Sunnah is to reject the beautiful religion of Islaam.
And to reject Islaam, it to humiliate and degrade oneself, both in this world and the
next. So

What is the Sunnah?

Linguistically, Sunnah is an Arabic word which means a path or a way. However,
Islaamically, it is a primary source of law taken from the sayings, actions and approvals
of the Prophet Muhammad. As Muslims we believe that the law Prophet Muhammad
came with, is a divine revelation from our Creator, Allaah. However many people
4|Page

believe that the Qur'aan is the only form of divine revelation, as it is the literal word of
Allaah. This view is incorrect as it contradicts the Qur'aan itself. About the Prophet
Muhammad, Allaah says: Your companion (Muhammad) is neither astray nor being
misled. Nor does he speak of his own desire. It is (only) the revelation with which he is
inspired (Surah An-Najm 53:2-4). Thus as Muslims, we are required to believe that the
Qur'aan and Sunnah go hand in hand together as our sources of legislated law. Both are
revelation from Allaah, the most High. The Qur'aan is composed of the actual words of
Allaah, whereas the Sunnah is expressed through the words, actions and approvals of
the Prophet Muhammad. Another difference is that the Qur'aan is recited formally in
the prayers whereas the Sunnah is not.
As a way of life, Islaam is perfect and complete. However, such are the times that we
live in, that some of the liberal elite from the Muslims choose to deny aspects of Islaam
to suit their own desires. It is even more sad, that many choose to deny the Sunnah in
particular. However this is clearly wrong, as the saying of the Prophet indicates: I have
been given the Qur'aan and something similar to it besides it. Yet a time will come
when a man leaning on his couch will say follow the Qur'aan only; what you find in it
permissible, take as permissible, and what you find as forbidden, take as forbidden.
But verily what the Messenger of Allaah has forbidden is like what Allaah has
forbidden. The words of the Arabian Prophet ring truthfully in our ears again. Today
there are a group of people in Pakistan called the Pervezies who say exactly as the
Prophet foretold. They firmly insist that the Qur'aan is the only source of law to be
followed. Thus, they neither consider the Sunnah a source of law, nor a regulation of
our daily affairs. This has led to many Muslim scholars declaring (and rightly so) that
the Pervezies are not Muslims. So

Why do we need the Sunnah?

Before the advent of the Prophet Muhammad, every nation on this planet had received
a Messenger. The purpose of these Messengers was to instruct their people in how to
worship Allaah correctly. The Prophet Muhammad was no exception to this. If we had
been given the Qur'aan on its own, then most of us who are Muslims would have gone
astray through our own interpretations of this book. Rather, Allaah through his mercy,
sent a noble Messenger who came to explain this Qur'aan so that the people of the earth
may understand their Creator better: We have revealed the reminder (Qur'aan) to you
(O Muhammad) in order that you explain to the people what has been revealed to
them, that perhaps they may reflect (Surah An-Nahl 16:44). By explaining the Qur'aan
5|Page

through his words and actions, the Prophet through his Sunnah, gives us the best
example of how this book is to be understood and practiced. This is why Allaah says:
Indeed in the Messenger of Allaah you have the most beautiful pattern of conduct
(Surah Al-Ahzab 33:21). Our need for the Sunnah is so great, that without it our religion
would be incomplete. In fact, this is the exact predicament which all the other religious
scriptures find themselves in. Books such as the Bible and the Baghvad Gita, are so
lacking in a divine explanation, that one can never understand (from them) as how to
worship Allaah properly. As Muslims we do not have this worry, because the Sunnah is
our divine explanation. The Qur'aan commands us to worship Allaah through prayer,
fasting, charity etc., but it does not inform us of how to perform these duties practically.
It is through his infinite Wisdom, that Allaah has sent us a practical example in the form
of the Prophet and his teachings. The Prophet's adherence and practice of the Qur'aan
was so exemplary, that upon being asked about his character, his wife Aisha said:
his character was that of the Quraan. So

Is it obligatory to follow the Sunnah?

Obeying Allaah is without doubt, obligatory. So when Allaah says: Whosoever obeys
the Messenger, has indeed obeyed Allaah (Surah An-Nisa 4:80), it should be clear that
one has obeyed Allaah by obeying the Messenger. Furthermore Muhammad said:
whosoever disobeys me, disobeys Allaah. Following the Sunnah is clearly an
obligation upon every Muslim.
The obligation is stressed even more when Allaah says: But no, by your Lord, they can
have no faith, until they make you (O Muhammad) judge in all disputes between them,
and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept them with full
submission (Sura An-Nisa 4:65) and:
It is not fitting for a believer, man or woman, when a matter has been decreed by
Allaah and His Messenger to have any choice in the matter. If anyone disobeys Allaah
and His Messenger he is clearly astray (Surah Al-Ahzab 33:36). As Muslims we know
that when Allaah or His Messenger decree something for us, it will always benefit us,
even if we do not realize it. Thus, submitting to the Messenger is only there for our
benefit and not to oppress us, as some mistakenly believe.
It must also be remembered that besides being the Messenger of Allaah, Muhammad
was an Arab man living in seventh century Arabia. This meant that he had his own
personal tastes and preferences just like any other mortal. These preferences are clearly
6|Page

distinguished from the Islamic law which is binding upon everyone. Thus, his personal
Sunnah is clearly distinct from the legal Sunnah which he brought. An example of this
distinction is when the Prophet came to Madeenah and found the inhabitants artificially
pollinating the date palm trees. When he asked them why they did so, they replied that
it was their habit. He suggested to them that maybe if they did not do it; it may be
better. So they gave it up and the following year their crop was greatly diminished.
When they told him of this he replied: I am only a human being. When I issue any
command to you regarding your religion, then accept it, but when I issue any command to you
based on my own opinion, I am merely a human being.
Islaam is a religion which singles out Allaah alone for worship. It is for this reason that
the possibility of Muhammad being anything more than a man, is totally absurd. As
him being the Messenger of Allaah we believe that his Sunnah is infallible, but at the
same time we maintain a perfect balance by remembering the words of Allaah: Say (O
Muhammad) : I am only a man like you (except that) it has been revealed to me that
your God is one God (Surah Al-Kahf 18:110). True Muslims will follow Muhammad,
not worship him. So

What are the benefits of the Sunnah?

One of the scholars of the past, Imam Malik, said: The Sunnah is like the ark of Noah.
Whoever embarks upon it achieves salvation and whoever rejects it, is drowned.
This salvation is the admittance into Paradise and avoiding the fire of Hell. Regret is a
terrible state. But regret on the Day of Judgment will be even worse for the one who did
not follow the Sunnah: And remember the day when the wrongdoer will bite at his
hand and say: Oh! Would that I had taken the path of the Messenger (Surah AlFurqan 25:27). This regret will continue during the punishment: On the day the faces
will be tossed about in the fire, they will say: Woe to us! Would that we had obeyed
Allaah and his Messenger (Surah Az-Zukhruf 43:67). On the other hand, the one who
adhered to the Sunnah will attain the ultimate benefit: Whoever obeys Allaah and his
Messenger will be admitted to gardens beneath which rivers flow to live there (forever),
and that will be the great achievement (Surah An-Nisa 4:13). This is further confirmed
by the Prophet himself when he said: He who obeys me enters paradise, and he who
disobeys me refuses to enter paradise.
The sweetness of the Sunnah will also be tasted during this life. The vastness of the
Prophet's way is such, that is produces a physical, spiritual and psychological benefit to
7|Page

its adherent. This fact is also recognized by non Muslim scientists who have discovered
that the Sunnah is extremely accurate in its conformity with modern scientific data.
Scientific and Medical facts which were recorded more then 1000 years ago, from the
tongue of the Prophet, have only been recently discovered. Such findings prove that the
Sunnah could only have been divinely revealed. Thus, the one who lives his life by this
law will bring goodness upon himself and upon the rest of this decaying world. As for
one who chooses to discard these divine rules, then that is a person who has lost a
treasure which far outweighs any treasure that the earth can bring forward. A treasure
which will bring eternal happiness. So1
We hope that what has been read, will encourage the reader to investigate into the way
of this amazing man, and adhere to the law which he brought. Through investigation
Insha'allaah (if God Wills) will come reform. And the one who reforms his life around
the Sunnah of Muhammad, can be assured of a complete guidance:
I have left two things among you, as long as you hold fast to them you will never go
astray. They are the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of His Messenger.

In the book, Hadith and Sunnah: Ideals and Realities

it says:
And if all Hadith is given up, what remains but a yawning chasm of fourteen centuries
between us and the Prophet? And in the vacuity of this chasm not only must the Quran
slip from our fingers under our subjective whims for the only thing that anchors it is
the Prophetic activity itself but even the very existence and integrity of the Quran and
indeed, the existence of our Prophet himself become an unwarranted myth.
One of the most energetic and productive minds of our time, succinctly put the case for
Hadith by the name of Dr. Fazlur Rahman said,
Only a dishonest or insane person will deny the importance of Hadith in its continuing
role to guarantee the social, political, and cultural integrity of the Ummah.
These Muslims who argue for Hadith claim that as anit Hadith argues that all Hadith
are fabricated, largely in the third century of Islam and that the Quran alone is the
source of Guidance for Muslims. Without any grounding either in scholarship or
insight, they sometimes say that we tell them that Hadith is unreliable as guide to the
Prophetic Sunnah.
They say that we also argue that we say Hadith may be history, but it has no Shariah
normativeness, even if Hadith is genuine, it contains no Sunnah for us. The Muslims
who argue for Hadith believes that the key to understanding the Quran is the way the
Quran was revealed and how it came to the Prophet Muhammad over a 23 year period
according to them. They further believe that the ayats must be understood in their
particular context in whch they were revealed before we can go on to discover their
general and universal significance.
Now as thinking people in which Allah instructs us to be the Quran is not meant to be
a book whose injunctions are restricted to time and space. It gives immutable principles
which are to be applicable in all times and eras such as the ear we are now living in. To
suggest that the Quran is in need of the historical tales dominant in certain time of
history for its exegesis / tafsir is to limit the Quran to just one particular era and this
ear is the era of the Prophet and his companions and make it dependent on these
conjectures is not validated in the Quran.

9|Page

Allah clearly refutes this perspective as Allah says the

Quran is a Reminder to all nations:
"dhik'run (a Reminder) lil'lamna (to all the nations)." Sura 81/27
Allah also says that the Quran is:
" hudan ( a guidance) lilnnsi" Sura 2:185
Allah says that the Quran was sent for all humanity of all times and all locations, the
divine principles for formation and reformation of society and within the Quran Allah
has given us everything a nation in the time of the Prophet up until now in 2013 need
that is contained in Al-Quran.
In fact, whenever An Nas will exist, the Quran will provide An Nas with divine values
and these values are permanent and immutable, and do not change with the
circumstances of time as we see how the laws and values of humans do. These
permanent values of the Quran are as applicable in present times as they were in the
past. The values of humans tend to conflict, contradict and at often times are
oppressive. Whatever has been narrated in the Quran, even the reminders of previous
nations and messengers, they are not presented as historical tales.
In the Quran, Allah teaches us the basic principles and truth and we have to consider
the whole of the Quran to be guidance and light for the times we live in, and seek the
solutions to our present day problems from the divine injunctions, ordinances, laws,
and commandments instead of digging up the historyical tales that are attributed to the
past and then place the Book of Allah under their subjugation.
In Arabic this is known as Asbaab ul nuzzul. What is the 'Asbaab ul nuzzul'? It
suppose to mean the causes of revelation and historical backgrounds that are
attributed to the revelation of verses, are known.
Remember the Book of Allah, which is free from all discrepancies, is clear and distinct
in its meaning, is applicable in all times, can never ever be subjected to a body of
literature known as Asbaab ul nuzzul which truly investigate the Hadith we will
found that they are:
1) incomplete,
2) contradictory with itself and established facts of science,
3) is accepted by one sect while rejected by the other, and
4) was compiled and collected by human beings who were not even present during the
10 | P a g e

period of Quranic revelation, but simply compiled there history by heresy and
conjecture.
To some extent the Muslims who argue and defend Hadith do a disservice to the
Prophet and to the Quran.
Allah says:
Say, "We believe in Allah and that which has been sent down to us and that which has
been sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob),
and to Al-Asbat [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], and that which has
been given to Musa (Moses) and 'sa, and that which has been given to the Prophets
from their Lord. nufarriqu (We make no distinction) between any of them, and to Him
we have submitted. Sura 2/136
What some of our Muslim brothers and sisters do is draw the line between the Prophet
Muhammad and the rest of Allahs Prophets which goes against the instructions of the
Quran.
Allah instructs us nufarriqu (We make no distinction) between any of them
however these Hadith advocates will say that Aishah said, he was the living Quran
quoting an Hadith. They will also imply that the Quran itself describes for us that the
Prophet was the best example for us to follow and then quote Sura 33/21
There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah us'watun asanatun (an
excellent pattern) for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who]
remembers Allah often. Sura 33/21
Understanding the Quran correctly, Allah does not in any way say that the Prophet
Muhammad was the best example for us to follow. Allah makes it clear that he was;
us'watun asanatun (an excellent pattern) for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the
Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often.
The Prophet Muhammad was an excellent pattern / example for us as other Prophets of
Allah. Now, the irony is the Muslims who advocate for Hadith goes a step further and
say that this us'watun is basically not found in the Quran but it is available to us in
the Hadith. Does the Quran imply that we have to seek Hadith to get this us'watun
and if the Quran doesnt imply this where can we find it if not the Quran?

11 | P a g e

The Advocates for Hadith claim without the Hadith we would be deprived of that
example which through the centuries has guided Muslims towards excellence.
Think about this very carefully, without that example what example are they talking
about? The us'watun example given to us from Hadith is what they are referring to.
Does the Quran say that the Prophet Muhammad can guide any one? Does Allah direct
us in the Quran to look outside of it for extra divine guidance? These are some of the
questions that will be discussed and dealt with clear evidence presented from the
Quran later on in the research.

The Muslims who advocate for Hadith will misquote

an ayat in favor of Hadith such as:
Certainly did Allah confer [great] favor upon the believers when He sent among them
a Messenger from themselves, yatl (reciting) to them ytihi (His verses)
wayuzakkhim (and purifying) them wayuallimuhumu (and teaching them) kitba
(the Book) wal-ik'mata (and wisdom), although they had been before in manifest
error. Sura 3/164
They will argue that the Hikmata (Wisdom) is the process of purification and this
instruction in the meaning of the Quran is available to us in the Sunnah through the
Hadith. They will add on to this by saying that the basic forms of worship, like the
details of the five daily Salaat, the percentages of Zakat and the rules of fasting in their
application would not have been known to us without the Hadith. Without the
Hikmata (Wisdom / Sunnah) the Quran would have been at the mercy of all who
wished to misinterpret it.
They claim that the most serious error in understanding Islam is to reinterpret the
Quran without having linking the Quran to the one whom the Quran was revealed.
They will quote out of context:
O ye who believe! Obey Allah, wa-a (and obey) rasla (the messenger) wa-ul
(and those) amri (of you who are in authority) minkum (among you); and if ye have a
dispute concerning any matter, refer it to Allah wal-rasli (and the messenger) if ye are
(in truth) believers in Allah and the Last Day. That is better and more seemly in the
end. Sura 4/59

12 | P a g e

They will say that when Allah says, Obey Allah, wa-a (and obey) rasla (the
messenger) this means to obey the Prophet but there is never a time where Allah
says to obey the Prophet.
The basis of their argument is that the Prophet Muhammad received the Quran and
passed it on to humanity and other than the Quran, his actions and words (recoreded
in Hadith) was also divinely inspired.
In other words, the Hadith are also divinely inspired according to them and everything
that the Prophet said is also based upon wahyun (Revelation) this too will be dealt with
further as I go along in this research.
They will admit that all of the Messengers of Allah were sent as leaders of humanity to
be obeyed but when it comes to the Prophet Muhammad he is the only exception to the
rule of obedience and through obedience it doesnt limit to the Quran which are not
the Prophets words but Allahs words, obedience is also to be found in the Prophets
words recorded in Hadith.
And We did not send any messenger except to be obeyed by permission of Allah. And
if, when they wronged themselves, they had come to you, and asked forgiveness of
Allah and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah
Accepting of repentance and Merciful. Sura 4/64

They will happily quote this ayat out of context to

support their Hadith:
But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, judge
concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within
themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in submission. Sura
4/65
A question that needs to be asked is how did the Messenger judge, was it based upon
his own judgement, ruling or was it based upon what was revealed to the Prophet.
Again, this will be dealt with later on in the research.
Allah says:
"We will make you recite so you shall not forget, Except what Allah should will. Indeed,
He knows what is declared and what is hidden." Sura 87/6-7

13 | P a g e

And those who disbelieve say, "Why was the Qur'an not revealed to him all at once?"
Thus [it is] that We may strengthen thereby your heart. And We have spaced it
distinctly. And they do not come to you with an argument except that We bring you
bil-aqi (the truth) wa-asana (and the best) tafsran (explanation). Sura 25/32-33
Allah says the truth was brought to the Messenger and along with the truth Allah also
came wa-asana (and the best) tafsran (explanation).
What other tafsir / exegesis do we need other than the Quran itself to explain Allahs
Message?
In terms of the so called Ulama (Scholars) of Islam, Allah never says anything the
Ulama among the Arabs.
Allah does mention about the true Ulamau (Scholars) of this Deen of Islam who are the
Learned / Scholars of the Children of Israle:
And has it not been yatan (a sign) that yalamahu (know) ulamu (the Scholar /
Learned) of the Children of Israel? Sura 26/197
However, those who advocate for Hadith claim that the Ulama (Scholars) the Arabs
answered the challenge of Hadith fabrication with a level of study, investigation and
hard work. These Scholars of Hadith are known as Muhaddithan. They are portrayed as
individuals who have spent their lives in checking the geniuness of Hadith and in
getting rid of the fabrications.
According to the research the earliest times the Muslims have made a distinction
between the legal traditions (Hadith al Ahkam) and the so called purely historical
traditions called the Maghazi.

The Classification of books of Hadith

Books of Hadith have been classified into the following groups:
1)
2)
3)
4)
5)
6)
7)

Sahifahs
Ajza
Rasail or Kutub
Musannafs
Musnads
Mujams
Jamis
14 | P a g e

8) Sunans
9) Mustadrads
10) Mustakrajs
11) Arbainiya

The Sahifahs
The Sahifahs are collections of the alleged sayings of the Prophet as were written down
by some of his companions during his life-time or by their followers in the next
generation.

The Ajza
The Ajza are collections of the Traditions as have been handed down on the authority of
one single individualbe he a companion or of any generation after him. The term Juz
is also applied to such collections of Hadiths as have been compiled on a particular
subject-matter....intention, the Vision of Allahetc.

The Rasail
The Rasail are collections of Hadith that deal with one particular topic out of eight
topics into which the contents of the Jami books of Hadith may be generally classified.
These topics are:
1) Belief and Dogma
2) Laws or Ahkam which are also known as Sunan and include all the subjects of
Fiqh from Taharat or Purity to Wasaya or Exhortations
3) Ruqaq, Piety, Ascetiscism, Mysticism
4) Etiquette in eating, drinking, travelingetc.
5) Tafsir or commentary of the Quran
6) Tarikh and Siyar, historical and biographical matters which include, Cosmology,
Ancient History, etc. and the life of the Prophet, of his companions and
successors
7) Fitan, Crises
8) Appreciation and denunciation of persons, places
The Rasail are also called (Kutub).

The Musannafs
15 | P a g e

The Musannafs are collections of Hadith in which the traditions relating to most of al
the various topics mentioned above are put together and arranged in various books or
chapters, each dealing with a particular topic. To this belong the Muwatta, or Imam
Malik, the Sahih of Muslim.

The Musnad
The Musnad was originally used for such traditions as were supported by a complete
uninterrupted chain of authorities (isnad) gong back to the companion who related it
from the Prophet himself according to my research this is what they claim.
Later on Musnad came to be used in the general sense of a reliable and authorative
tradition. In this sense the term is also used for all reliable works in the Hadith
literature, and works like the Sunan of al Darimi and the Sahih of Al Bukhari are called
Musnads. But technically, it is used only for those collections of H adith in which they
are arranged according to the names of the final authoraties by whom they are related,
irrespective for their subject matter.
The Musnads are:
1)
2)
3)
4)
5)

Abu Dawud Tayalist (204 A.H / 819 A.D)

Ahmad b. Hanbal (233 A.H. / 847 A.D)
Abdullah b Muhammadb. Abi Shaybah (237 A.H / 849 A.D)
Uthman b. Abi Shaybah (237 A.H / 851 A.D)
Abu Kaythamah (234 A.H. / 844 A.D)

He who collected Hadiths in the form of a Musnad is called a Musnid or a Musnidi.

The Mujam
The Mujam is generally applied to the works on various subjects as are arranged in
alphabetical order. The geographical and the biographical dictionaries of Yaqut are
called Mujam al Buldan and Mujam al Udaba because they are arranged
alphabetically. These Musnads are collected Hadith arranged under the names of the
companions in their alphatical order and are known as Mujam al Sahabah.

The Jami
The Jami is collections of Hadith which contain traditions relating to all the various
subject matters mentioned under the Rasail. The Sahih of Al Bukhari as well as the
book of Tirmidhi is called Jami. However, the Sahih of Muslim is not described as Jami
16 | P a g e

because (unlike Bukhari) it does not contain traditions relating to all the chapters of the
Quran.

The Sunan
The Sunan are collections of the traditions as contain Hadith al Ahkam (legal traditions)
only and leave out those traditions which relate to historical and other matters. The
collections of traditions made by Abu Dawud, NasaI and many other traditionalists are
known as Sunan works.

The Mustadraks
The Mustadraks are collections of Hadith in which the compiler having accepted the
conditions laid down by any previous compiler, collects together such other traditions
as fulfill those conditions and were missed by the previous compiler. To this class
belongs the Mustadrak of Al Hakim who collected together such Hadiths as fulfilled the
conditions laid down by Bukhari and Muslim and were not included by them in their
Sahihs.

The Mustakhrajs
The Mustakhrajs are collections of Hadith in which a later compiler of them collects
together fresh Isnads for such traditions as were collected by a previous compiler on the
basis of different chains of Isnad. To this class belong the Mustakhraj of Abu Nuaym
Isfhani on the Sahihs of Bukhari and Muslim. According to them, Abu Nuaym Abu
Nuaym gives fresh chains of Isnad for some of the traditions which were already
included by Bukhari and Muslim in their Sahihs with different Isnads.

The Arbainiyat
The Arbainiyat are the collections of forty Hadiths relating to one or more subjects
which may have appeared tobe of special interest to the compiler. An example of this
class is the Arbain of Al Nawawi.
Of all these eleven class of the collections of Hadiths, the Sahifahs, are allegedly
suppose to be the earliest in origin. The Mujams, the Mustadraks, Mustakhrajs and the
Arbainiyat must have came later. The Ajza and the Rasail in their technical sense
described above also must have been later in origin and development than the
Musannaf and the Musnad works.

17 | P a g e

According to these advocates for Hadith they argue that the Hadith together with the
Quran served the Muslims as the main basis of their social structure.

Here is an indisputable challenge to the Sunnis and

PRESENT ONE VERSE IN AL QUR'AN THAT SAYS EITHER ONE OF THE
FOLLOWING:
(1) We are suppose to follow Nataq-un-Nabi (Speech of Nabi)/ Sunnatu Rasoolullah
(Sunnah of Messenger) by NAME or
(2) We will get guidance from Nataq-un-Nabi (Speech of Nabi) / Sunnatu
Rasoolullah (Sunnah of Messenger) by NAME or
(3) We are suppose to believe in Nataq-un-Nabi (Speech of Nabi) / Sunnatu
Rasoolullah (Sunnah of Messenger) by NAME ? or
(4) Nataq-un-Nabi (Speech of Nabi) / Sunnatu Rasoolullah (Sunnah of Messenger)
was revealed or sent down (nazala) to Muhammad by NAME?
No Sunni or Shite with the name have been able to answer this simple challenge. See,
the narrow path is the difficult path it takes time, energy, effort for us to see the truth,
know the truth...how much time do you really take to truly investigate, study the
Qur'an? When do you have the time when youre busy studying the Hadith? Hadith are
nothing more than a mere distraction from Allah's Books. Hadith are not revealed as
wahyun (Revelations).

18 | P a g e

Not I, but Allah tells us that the Quran is COMPLETE, PERFECT, FULLY DETAILED
AND THAT IT EXPLAINS ALL THINGS in Sura 6/114-115; 16/89; 6/38; 12/111 and
the question is do we believe what Allah says about His Book?
Do we believe the Qur'an has everything we need to know about how we should
practice this din He established for us and do we believe the Qur'an has this example of
our Prophet Muhammad because if we don't believe the Qur'an contains the good
example of the Prophet this means we have to put down the Qur'an the very Qur'an
Allah says that is Complete, Perfect, Fully Detailed and that it explains all things and
pick up books written by man.
This would mean the Qur'an is deficient and is in need of man's assistance because it
lacks the Prophet Muhammad's example so now we have to go pick up a book of
Hadith the very books filled with contradictions and other things we can't believe.
There are two Hadith presented by two sects that claims that both Sects are guided
better than the two, Sunni versus Shites. Both Sects claims to have the authentic Hadith
and Sunnah of Muhammad. Yet, both Sects are Hadith rejecters of each others Hadith,
isn't this convenient?
How can this type of confusion be from one man if both groups claim to have the most
authentic Volumes of Hadith? Yet, between the Sunnis and Shites neither of them can
present one ayat verifying their sources of Hadith to be validated in Qur'an, something
to think about.
19 | P a g e

Why is the Messenger of Allah going to say that his people took the Quran as a
forgotten thing? This is very important to know.

The Prophet which represents the human side of the

Messenger
We have to remember as a Prophet of Allah this doesnt guarantee him necessarily
being free from error. The prophet is the man himself which represents his life, in his
private affairs, in his social relations with those around him, and in his human conduct.
Now this is coming down to his human conduct, he was susceptible to rebuke from
Allah.

For this reason, he used to be reprimanded in his capacity as a prophet.

Allah says:
O you prophet, why do you prohibit what Allah has made lawful for you, just to
please your wives? Sura 66/1
No prophet shall acquire captives, unless he participates in the fighting. You people
are seeking the materials of this world, while Allah advocates the Hereafter. Sura 8/67
Even the prophet cannot take more of the spoils of war than he is entitled to. Anyone
who takes more than his rightful share will have to account for it on the Day of
Resurrection. Sura 3/161

And when the human side of the Messenger, hence the Prophet sought
forgiveness for some of his relatives, our Allah said to him:
Neither the prophet, nor those who believe shall ask forgiveness for the idol
worshipers, even if they were their nearest of kin, once they realize that they are
destined for Hell. Sura 9/113
Concerning a very hard battle the believers fought, the Almighty says:
Allah has redeemed the prophet, and Muhjireen (the immigrants) and the
supporters who hosted them and gave them refuge (Ansr), who followed him during
the difficult times. That is when the hearts of some of them almost wavered. Sura
9/117

20 | P a g e

Allah also instructed the prophet to be reverent of Him, and to follow the revelation,
and to trust in Him, and in prohibiting him from obeying the disbelievers:
O you prophet, you shall reverence Allah and do not obey the disbelievers and the
hypocrites. Allah is Omniscient, Most Wise. Follow what is revealed to you from your
Lord. Allah is fully Cognizant of everything you all do. And put your trust in Allah.
Sura 33/1-3
Now all of the above one thing in common that any one can see clearly is that Allah is
him as a Prophet and not as a Messenger.

The Quranic discussion about the relationship between the Prophet and
his wives who are the mothers of the believers also addresses him as
a Prophet and not as a Messenger:
O prophet, say to your wives, If you are seeking this life and its vanities, then let me
compensate you and allow you to go amicably. Sura 33/28
The prophet had trusted some of his wives with a certain statement. Sura 66/3
When Allah was addressing the mothers of the believers, however, Allah didnt say
O wives of the messenger, rather, it said:
O wives of the prophet, if any of you commits a gross sin, the retribution will be
doubled for her. This is easy for Allah to do. Sura 33/30
O wives of the prophet, you are not the same as any other women. Sura 33/32

Hence, this relationship with the people around him also addresses him
as a prophet,
O prophet, tell your wives, your daughters, and the wives of the believers that they
shall lengthen their garments. Sura 33/59
The prophet is closer to the believers than they are to each other, and his wives are like
mothers to them. Sura 33/6
O you who believe, do not enter the prophets homes unless you are given permission
to eat. Sura 33/53)
21 | P a g e

Others made up excuses to the prophet: Our homes are vulnerable, Sura 33/13)
In light of this, the prophet is the man, in his behaviour, in his private and public
social relations, for this reason, he was addressed as the prophet to follow the
revelation.

Now we have the Messenger

Thus, when the prophet speaks with the Quran, he is the messenger who should be
obeyed for the sake of Allah,
We did not send any messenger except to be obeyed in accordance with Allahs will
Sura 4/64
This is why Allah says whoever obeys the Messenger hence, obeys Allah because as the
Messenger represents the voice of the Sender and the messenger conveys the message
of the Sender.
Whoever obeys the messenger is obeying Allah Sura 4/80
So we have the Prophet as a human being was the first to obey the Quranic revelation,
and the first to implement it on himself.
O you prophet, you shall reverence Allah and do not obey the disbelievers and the
hypocrites. Allah is Omniscient, Most Wise. Follow what is revealed to you from your
Lord. Allah is fully Cognizant of everything you all do. And put your trust in Allah.
Sura 33/1-3
Whenever addresses the prophet remember, the Prophet himself was ordered to follow
the Messenger, hence the revelation, and the instruction came to obey the messenger,
that is, to obey the prophet when he spoke using the message, i.e. the Quran because as
a Messenger the Prophet does not speak from his own desire he only speaks what he is
instructed to speak.
Say, Obey Allah, and obey the messenger. Sura 24/54
Why dont they study the Quran carefully? There does not occur a single instance in
the Quran of Allah saying:
Obey Allah, and obey the prophet, or obey Muhammad

22 | P a g e

Why is this important? Its very important because obedience is not due to human side
of the Messenger which is the prophet who is a human being.
It is not possible for any libasharin (human being) unto whom Allah had given kitba
(the Scripture) wal-uk'ma (and wisdom) wal-nubuwata (and the prophethood) that
he should afterwards have said unto mankind: Be slaves of me instead of Allah; but
(what he said was): Be ye faithful servants of the Lord by virtue of your constant
teaching of the Scripture and of your constant study thereof. Sura 3/79
So when the Prophet calls to the people as a messenger, it is due to the message, i.e. the
messenger, i.e. the word of Allah which was revealed to the prophet, and which the
prophet was the first to obey.
Also remember this there does not occur a single instance in the Quran of the
messenger being reprimanded.
The prophet represents the human side of the messenger and he was tricked by the
hypocrites. This occurred when one of the hypocrites stole something but some people
found out and so the thiefs family felt shame because of what he did. So he and his
family planned that he should put the stolen shield in an innocent Jews house at
night. Then they went to the prophet in the morning claiming to be innocent.
So the prophet was tricked and he even defended the thief; thus, the thief became
innocent and the innocent became a thief.
This is a story which happens in every time and place; where a criminal who committed
a crime escapes accusation whilst the innocent person is jailed unjustly. The Quran
mentions this story and transforms it from a historic incident which was specific to that
time and place and to the people involved, into an affair relevant to all people in any
time and place.

In the beginning, Allah admonished the Prophet instructed him to judge

with the Book and warned him from being an advocate for the traitors:
We have sent down to you the scripture, truthfully, in order to judge among the
people in accordance with what Allah has shown you. You shall not side with the
betrayers. Sura 4/105
Allah is conveying to the Prophet that the Book was sent down truthfully so that the
Prophet can judge among the people according to what Allah has shown him in the
Book itself; judgment is sought from the Quran.
23 | P a g e

And because the prophet forgot to do so, he was told to ask for forgiveness in the
following verse:
You shall implore Allah for forgiveness. Allah is Forgiver, Most Merciful. Sura 4/106
Then, in the verse after that he was prohibited from defending those traitors who
conspired to claim that a criminal was innocent, and to accuse the innocent:
Do not argue on behalf of those who have wronged their own souls; Allah does not
love any betrayer, guilty. They hide from the people, and do not care to hide from
Allah, though He is with them as they harbor ideas He dislikes. Allah is fully aware of
everything they do. Sura 4/107-108
Thereafter,
Here you are arguing on their behalf in this world; who is going to argue with Allah
on their behalf on the Day of Resurrection? Who is going to be their advocate? Sura
4/109
Can anyone help them on the Day of Resurrection or intercede on their behalf? Then,
the following verses lay down the principle of personal responsibility:
Anyone who commits evil, or wrongs his soul, then implores Allah for forgiveness,
will find Allah Forgiving, Most Merciful. Anyone who earns a sin, earns it to the
detriment of his own soul. Allah is Omniscient, Most Wise. Anyone who earns a sin,
then accuses an innocent person thereof, has committed a blasphemy and a gross
offense. Sura 4/110-112
That is, every person is responsible for their own sins, and if they sought forgiveness,
then Allah will forgive them and if not then they will be taken to account for what they
did and no-one will argue or intercede on their behalf on the Day of Resurrection,
The transgressors will have no friend nor an intercessor to be obeyed. Sura 40/18

Allah says to the prophet:

If it were not for Allahs grace towards you, and His mercy, some of them would have
misled you. They only mislead themselves, and they can never harm you in the least.
Allah has sent down to you the scripture and wisdom, and He has taught you what you
never knew. Indeed, Allahs blessings upon you have been great. Sura 4/113

24 | P a g e

Hence, that is, they tried to trick the prophet but the revelation came down and exposed
them and everything went back to normal, and this is how the prophets affairs took
place; according to the Quran. Because thats how he used to judge and speak; using
the Quran and nothing but the Quran.

The word prophet has a single defined meaning, it is:

In the Quran the man who was chosen by Allah from among the people to inform him
of the revelation so that he becomes a messenger. As for the word messenger, it has
in the Quran many meanings, they are:
1.
to signify the prophet: Muhammad was not the father of any man among you.
He was a messenger of Allah and the final prophet. Sura 33/40
2.
to signify Jibril: This is the utterance of an honorable messenger. Authorized by
the Possessor of the Throne, fully supported. He shall be obeyed and trusted. Your
friend is not crazy. He saw him at the high horizon. Sura 18/19-23
3.
to signify the angels: the angels who record our works, Do they think that we do
not hear their secrets and conspiracies? Yes indeed; our messengers are with them,
recording. Sura 43/80
4.
to signify a runner hence, someone who carries a letter or message from one
person to another: like Josephs saying to the kings messenger go back to your lord
in the verse: The king said, Bring him to me. When the messenger came to him, he
said, Go back to your lord Sura 12/50
5.
to signify the Quran or the message: intertwined with this meaning is the
meaning of the message-bearing prophet who speaks with the revelation and that goes
for all the instructions which endorse obeying Allah and His messenger.
So we have all these verses point to obeying the word of Allah which Allah brought
down to His messenger, and the messenger was the first to speak the revelation, and the
first to practice it.

This final signification of the Quran, means that the messenger of

Allah is present among us, even to this day, and that is the book of Allah
which Allah will preserve till the Day of Resurrection.

25 | P a g e

How can you disbelieve, when these revelations of Allah have been recited to you, and
His messenger is among you? Whoever holds fast to Allah will be guided in the right
path. Sura 3/101
Basically, as the book of Allah is being recited, the messenger is present among us, and
whoever holds fast to Allah and His book, Allah has guided him to the Straight
Path. This remains valid at any time, and in any place so long as the Quran is
preserved; and it will remain preserved and will serve as a proof for the creation till the
rising of the Hour.

The word messenger in some Quranic verses signifies the Quran itself
with the utmost clarity:
Anyone who gives up his home, emigrating to Allah and His messenger, then death
catches up with him, his recompense is reserved with Allah. Sura 4/100
This verse sets out a general and continually-applicable law, which remains applicable
even after the death of the Prophet.
If we truly study this ayat we will see emigration for the sake of Allah and His
messenger i.e. the Quran continues to be possible even after the death of the
Prophet, so long as the Quran / the Reminder / the Message remains.
Sometimes, the word messenger can only signify the Quran specifically without any
other meaning;
That you people may believe in Allah waraslihi (and His messenger), watuazzirhu
(and reverence Him), watuwaqqirhu (and respect Him), watusabbihu (and glorify
Him), day and night. Sura 48/9
The word messenger here signifies the word of Allah only, and does not signify the
Prophet Muhammad as the messenger at all.
The proof for this is that the pronoun which is suffixed to the word messenger occurs
in singular form, thus Allah says watuazzirhu (and reverence Him), watuwaqqirhu
(and respect Him), watusabbihu (and glorify Him).
The use of the singular pronoun means that Allah and His messenger (the Reminder /
His words) are not two separate entities rather; they are one and the same thing, for He
did not say and reverence them both, and observe them both, and glorify them both,
day and night.
26 | P a g e

Glorification is due only to Alah, alone. And there is no difference between Allah and
His words, for Allah is one in His essence and in His attributes, Proclaim, He is the
One and only Allah Sura 112/1
They swear by Allah to you, to please you, when Allah and His messenger are more
worthy of pleasing Sura 9/62
If the messenger in this verse signifies the prophet Muhammad, He would have said
are both more worthy of pleasing.
However, the messenger here signifies the word of Allah only, which is why Allah and
His messenger are referred to in the singular, which means Allah and His words.
So, the prophet is Muhammad, the man, in his private and public life.

As for the messenger, he is the prophet when he utters wahyun

Revelation hence the Quran and delivers the message:
O you messenger, deliver what is revealed to you from your Lord Sura 5/67
Whenever Allah orders the prophet to follow the revelation, Allah orders us all to obey
Allah and the messenger, i.e. the message never the prophet.

There isnt a single instance in the Quran where Allah says:

the sole duty of the prophet is to deliver the message, rather, Allah says The sole duty
of the messenger is to deliver the message Sura 5/99
And obey Allah and obey the Messenger and beware. Then, truly, if you turned away,
then, know that only on Our Messenger is the delivering of Our clear message. Sura
5/92
but if they turn away, your sole mission is to deliver this message Sura 3/20
Therefore, delivering the message is associated with the message, just as the prophet is
associated with the human side of the messenger in his life, his conditions, and his
relations. The Quranic rule regarding this subject is always to limit the role and
importance of the messenger to merely delivering the message.
To deliver the message is to deliver it whole, without adding anything or taking
anything away. The above ayats clearly limit the responsibility of the messenger to
merely delivering the message as it is.
27 | P a g e

To deliver the message is to inform the people of the Qurans contents

such as:
1)
2)
3)
4)

be it warnings,
good news,
guidance, or
enlightenment

Allah says,
O prophet, we have sent you as a witness, a bearer of good news, as well as a warner.
Inviting to Allah, in accordance with His will, and a guiding beacon. Sura 33/45-46)
These descriptions of the prophet as a witness, a bearer of good news, a warner, and an
inviter, all fall under the definition of delivery. Once the messenger delivers the
message, he becomes a witness against his people.
To be a witness against someone isnt the same as being a witness for someone. If one is
a witness against someone, then one is in dispute with that person. However, if one is a
witness for someone, then one supports that persons case and serves as an advocate.
The Quranic text describes the prophet as a witness against his people on the Day of
Resurrection, i.e. he will dispute those who were in defiance.
We have sent to you a messenger as a witness against you Sura 73/15
Thus, when the day comes, we will call upon a witness from each community, and you
(the messenger) will serve as a witness against these people. Sura 4/41
The day will come when we will raise from every community a witness from among
them, and bring you as the witness against huli (these people). We have revealed to
you this book to provide explanations for everything Sura 16/89
The Quran mentions the Messengers testimony against his people on the Day of
Resurrection in the following:
Allah says:
"waqla (And said) raslu (the Messenger), yrabbi ("O my Lord), indeed qawm (my
people) ittakhadh (took) hatha (this) qur'na (Qur'an) mahjran (as a thing
abandoned)." Sura 25/30

28 | P a g e

How is this going to happen? Muslims are too busy reading other books such as Hadith
and Sunnah books and not the Quran. Muslims are paying lip service to Quran and
giving all the extra attention to Hadith and Sunnah books that arent even validated by
Allah.
Thus, his responsibility is to deliver the Quran to the people, but since they abandoned
the Quran and took hold of other books as has been stated Hadith and Sunnah books,
they deserved to be disowned by the Messenger on the Day of Resurrection.
One of the signs that they have abandoned the Quran is that they accuse it of
ambiguity and say that it requires the words of men which are Hadith to explain and
clarify it.
They also say that it doesnt clarify things properly, and even though it is described as
a clarification for all things, they insist that it requires further elucidation.
Due to this, the testimony of the messenger on the Day of Resurrection is going to be
one of opposition to their claims confirming that the Quran came down clarifying
everything,
The day will come when we will raise from every community a witness from among
them, and bring you as the witness against these people. We have revealed to you this
book to provide explanations for everything Sura 16/89
In some verses discussing the delivery of the message, the messengers responsibilities
of delivery and of warning were down-played, however, the importance of Allahs
fulfillment of judgment are stressed,
your sole mission is to deliver (the message). It is us who will call them to account.
Sura 13/40
If they turn away, we did not send you as their guardian. Your sole mission is
delivering the message Sura 42/48
You shall remind, for your mission is to deliver this reminder. You have no power
over them. As for those who turn away and disbelieve. Allah will commit them to the
great retribution. To us is their ultimate destiny. Then we will call them to account.
Sura 88/21-26
The messenger of Allah only did what he was told to do. We read the Quran, but we do
not reflect on it, and most of us desert it.
29 | P a g e

Would the Prophet Muhammad say anything against

Allahs commandment?
Allah says,
"[It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. And if he fabricated against Us some
aqwli (sayings), We would have seized him by the right hand; Then We would have
cut from him the aorta. and none of you could have defended him.." Sura 69/43-47
aqwli qf ww lm ( ) means to say/speak, to call, to be named, word/speech,
utterance, a thing said, greeting, discourse, one who says/speaks.
To inspire/transmit/relate/answer/think/profess, emit an opinion on, indicate a state
or condition or circumstance. qa'ilun - speaker, indicator.
The Quran makes it very clear that the Prophet Muhammad would not have said
anything against what Allah commanded. He would not tell any one to follow him
personally. He would not tell any one to obey his personal speech. He would only
command them as a Messenger of Allah to obey/follow as he to had to obey and
follow the message, the Quran.
How can the Sunnis and Shites get away with their assertions saying that the Quran is
not detailed enough, not complete and that it doesnt explain all things in terms of Deen
then say the Quran needs outside sources Persian Books of Sahih Bukhari and
company in order for it to be complete?
As it is the human nature of being human we are prone to convert any details in our
communication to unnecessary blather and mere talkativeness for which there is no
need and cannot, practicably, be put to use; and this is exactly what the details of the
Quran avoid, the Quran only provides the details we actually need. We need to truly
think about what is being said. Once, again the Quran only provides the details we
actually need.

Thus, the Quran has not left out anything for which
we have a need
Allah, revealed His Book with straightforward verses in which is no scope for nonsense
or addition. For this reason, the Quran clears up what it has to clear up, and everything
that requires clarification and elucidation has been clarified and elucidated in the
Quran. And something which doesnt require elucidation is in no need to be
30 | P a g e

elucidated, especially in a Book whose verses have been detailed from a Most Wise,
Most Cognizant.

For this reason, elucidation in the Quran is connected

to guidance, mercy, and good news for the Muslims:
We have revealed to you this book tib'ynan (as a clarification) likulli shayin (of
everything), wahudan (and guidance), waramatan (and mercy), wabush'r (and good
news) lil'mus'limna (for the submitters). Sura 16/89
The Arabic word Tibyaan means: to clarify something which requires clarification and
explanation. Yet, something which is inherently clear doesnt require elucidation, lest
any excessive explanations amount to curiosity and mere prattle for which we have no
need.
Thus, the explanations of the Quran areguidance for the one seeking guidance
amongst a mass of ambiguity and uncertainty. The explanations found in the Quran
are also a mercy for the one seeking guidance because it makes known to him/her
what was unknown, and it guarantees him/her security and divine mercy as well as
good news.

The details of the Quran are also connected to

guidance and mercy. Allah says:
We have given them a scripture faalnhu (which We have explained) with il'min
(knowledge), as guidance, and mercy for the people who believe. Sura 7/52
Therefore, the Quranic details which include everything are a guidance and a mercy for
those who need these details. And if it so happened that such things were clear and
didnt require detailing or clarification, then it would be futile to clarify what is already
clear.

For this reason, the details of the Quran are

connected to precise laws, commandments,
instructions, and ordiances that has been conveyed to
us through Allahs Prophets/Messengers and Allah
says in this regard:

31 | P a g e

A.L.R. This is a scripture u'kimat (are perfected) ytuhu (its verses) have been,
fuilat (explained in detail) from a Most Wise, Most Cognizant. Sura 11/1
We have given them a scripture faalnhu (which We have explained) with il'min
(knowledge), as guidance, and mercy for the people who believe. Sura 7/52
For this reason, the believers who research and study the whole Quran carefully, they
are the ones who find it sufficient, they are the only ones who overstand the Quran.

Allah says:
nufailu (We thus explain) yti (the Signs) for people who know. Sura 7/32
nufailu (We thus explain) yti (the revelations) for people who reflect. Sura
10/24
nufailu (We thus explain) yti (the revelations) for people who understand. Sura
30/28

Allah also says:

A scripture fuilat (are detailed), in an Arabic Quran, for people who know. Sura
41/3
As for those who dont know, they are the ones who challenge the Qurans assertions,
disbelieving its clarity and not believing that it details everything; they say:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

Where is the number of units of prayer mentioned in the Quran?

Where is the method for prayer mentioned in the Quran?
How should we perform the pilgrimage?
What is Zakat?
Where are the days of the week mentioned in the Quran?
Where are the days of the week mentioned in the Quran?

Allah says:
As for those who saaw (constantly challenge) f (against) ytin (Our verses),
mujizna (to cause failure) ulika (those) for them is a punishment of foul nature
painful. And those who have been given knowledge see that what is revealed to you
from your Lord is the truth, and it guides to the path of the Exalted in Might, the
Praiseworthy. Sura 34/5-6

32 | P a g e

Allah refers to them in this verse in the past tense, so what of the present? Allah also
tells us clearly in the next ayat what was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad is the
truth and it guides to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy. Allah is
speaking about the Quran alone and not Quran and Hadith or Sunnah.

Allah also says:

wa-alladhna (As for those who) yasawna (consistently challenge) fi (against)
ytin (Our verses), mujizna (to cause failure), ulika (those) f (into) tadhbi (the
punishment) mu'arna (will be brought). Sura 34/38
Every Messenger that was sent to their respective communities were supposed to be
obeyed/followed:

Allah says:
"And warn nsa of a day when the doom will come upon them, and those who did
wrong will say: Our Lord! Reprieve us for a little while. nujib (We will answer)
dawataka (Your call) wanattabii (AND WE WILL FOLLOW) rusula (the messengers).
(It will be answered): Did ye not swear before that there would be no end for you?"
Surah 14/44

So the question again is how do we follow the

messengers?
Allah says in 6/153
"This ir (is My Path) mus'taqman (straight), fa-ittabihu (so follow it). Do not
tattabi (follow) subula (other ways) or you will become cut off from His Way. That is
what He instructs you to do, so that hopefully you will have taqwa."
Now there is only one Prophet mentioned by name that we are told given Bayyinat
(Clear Evidence) throughout the Quran to follow again, by name and that is Prophet
Ibrahim. Millata Ibrahim is mentioned throughout the entire Quran by name. So if its
obligatory for us to follow the Millata Ibrahim and its mentioned by name and yet, the
Sunnis and Shites say its obligatory for us to follow the Prophet Muhammads
Hadith/Sunnah why cant they present just one clear ayat by name as we can do for
Prophet Ibrhaim.

33 | P a g e

Allah instructs the Prophet Muhammad to follow the

Millata Ibrahim:
"Then awayn (We revealed) to you, ittabi(to follow) Millata ibrahima (the creed of
Ibrahim), anfan (inclining toward truth); and he was not of those who associate with
Allah." Sura 16/123
This is one clear ayat that says by name Millata Ibrahim now this is without a doubt
clear and obvious for all to see. There is no mistranslation, interpolation of the ayat.
Millata Ibrahim is mentioned.
"It is He who has sent down to you, the Book; in it are verses mu'kamtun (that are
precise) - they are ummu (the foundation) of the Book -wa-ukharu (and others)
mutashbihtun (unspecific/unclear). As for those in whose hearts is deviation,
fayattabina (they will follow) that of it which is unspecific/unclear, seeking fit'nati
(discord) and seeking an interpretation. And no one knows its [true] interpretation
except Allah . But those firm in knowledge say, "We believe in it. All [of it] is from our
Lord." And no one will be reminded except those of understanding." Sura 3/7

We have to remember key words:

mu'kamtun verses-perfected/tighteneed/clear/firm/wellestablished/precise/straight/unambiguous/decisive verses.

Allah says for them in Sura 3/7 "they are ummu (foundation of the
book)".
"ummu" stands for mother / origin / source / prototype / basis...

34 | P a g e

Then in the same ayat Allah says:

wa-ukharu (and others) mutashbihtun (unspecific/unclear). As for those in whose
hearts is deviation, fayattabina (they will follow) that of it which is
mutashbihtun (unspecific/unclear), seeking fit'nati (discord) and seeking an
interpretation.
mutashbihtun verses-looking like/
/resembling/ambiguous/undecisive/vague/obscure/unclear/?
Allah tells us that those in whose hearts is perversity FOLLOW WHAT IS
AMBIGUOUS/resembling seeking for fitna/disorder and seeking their own
interpretation.
Allah then tells us that no one knows its mutashbihtun interpretation/meaning
except Allah so basically this tells us to look no further, and then Allah continues by
saying that those who are firmly rooted in the knowledge say: we believe in it, all of it is
from our Lord...
It's not at all that those who are rooted in the knowledge cannot grasp the
message/meaning of mutashabihaat verses, ON CONTRARY, they CAN GRASP IT,
BUT, ONLY by looking at it, and trying to understand it IN THE LIGHT OF versesmu'kamtun which are BASIS/SOURCE of the book...
Example, when we say Allah says to follow the Millata Ibrahim this is what we know
that is mu'kamtun ayat because its in the Quran for all to see.

Now when the question is ask to a Sunni or Shite show

us a mu'kamtun ayat instructing us to follow the
Sunnah of Muhammad they present:
"And whatsoever the Messenger gives you, take it, and whatsoever he forbids you,
abstain from it..." [al-Hashr: 7]
35 | P a g e

Any doctrine, teaching, attitude, opinion or whatever - if it has no support in

muhkamaat verses, then, mutashabihaat verses alone are not enough, and it cannot be
said that it has its basis and support in the book, cause only muhkamaat verses are
source of the book (represent position/judgement of the book) and mutashabihaat
verses should be interpreted in the other way -in line with muhkamaat... And only if the
teaching has support in muhkamaat verses, only then, can be said that Quran support
such teaching.
It is NOT LOGICAL if the correct meaning of some verses of Quran can not be grasped as traditionaly understood, BUT IT IS ALSO ILLOGICAL to think that judgements,
religion, positions, opinions and doctrines could be based only on
mutashabihaat/ambiguous verses....
And it is very illogical that those who are rooted in the knowledge find out its meaning
through some sort of hidden revelations, or through complicated calculations as shias,
some sunnis and some code 19 believers claim or through some other way, other than
reading and contemplating upon Quran and its muhkamaat verses...
Expression "Rooted in the knowledge" by itself says to us from where they pick up their
knowledge - from the book of Allah and its muhkamaat verses which represent the
basis of the book which is the main source of knowledge and detail explanation for/of
all things...

They cannot say this doctrine for example we have the

following that some of these sects claim exist within the
Quran:
1)
2)
3)
4)

Sunnah
Hadith
Code 19
12 Imams

All of this is based upon Quran they claim so if they have no support in mukhkamaat
verses...which represent UMM/prototype/mother/SOURCE of the book then they
have no Bayyinaat (Clear Evidence).
Every sect, doctrine, philosophy, group, movement can find some kind of "basis" and
"support" in Quran to validate or support their unquranic belief or opinion. We see itall
the time within every sect has some verses to present as divine proof and evidence for
their doctrine... And they say you see, in this and this verse Allah says so and so...
36 | P a g e

The Sunnis and Shites when asked to provide a muhkamaat (clear

ayat/precise) ayat to support their doctrine of Hadith/Sunnah of
Muhammad they will say:
"obey messenger"... and then follow-up saying, "you see, we must obey messenger"
and when asked how we will do it today when he is dead , and they will say, "of course
by following his Hadith/sayings in the book."
Next they will reference and say "they will not believe until they take YOU as judge ",
and they say, "you see we must judge according to hadith of the prophet..."
Again, and again they will quote mutashabihaat/ambiguous ayats and will never be
able to provide a muhkamaat (clear /precise) ayat telling us to follow the Hadith or
Sunnah of Muhammad as was shown in the Quran where Allah tells us to follow the
Millata Ibrahim.

What was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad in terms

of Wahyun (Revelation)?
Now according to the Sunnis and Shites they say that it was reported to have been said,
although not in the Authentic Six books of the Sunni Muslims, but rather other books
(e.g. Malik Muwatta) during the alleged Prophet Muhammad's Farewell Sermon atop
Mount Arafat after his Last Pilgrimage.

According to one version of the narration, Prophet

Muhammad allegedly said:
I have left among you two matters by holding fast to which, you shall never be
misguided: the Book of Allah and the Sunna of His Prophet.
However, the 'Qur'an and My Family' version is cited in many Sunni Hadith books.
Amongst those is: Sunan al-Tirmidhi, Volume 6, Chapter 31, Hadith No. 3788:
Zaid bin Arqam narrated that Muhammed said: "Indeed, I am leaving among you, that
which if you hold fast to them, you shall not be misguided after me. One of then is
greater than the other: (First is) The book of Allah is a rope extended from the sky to
the earth, and (the second is) my family, the people of my house (ahlul bait), and they
shall not split until they meet me at the hawd, so look at how you deal with them after
me." (Sahih). Sunan al-Tirmidhi, Volume 6, Chapter 31, Hadith No. 3786:

37 | P a g e

Jabir bin Abdullah said: "I saw the Messenger of God during his Hajj, on the Day of
Arafah (on his last pilgrimage). He was upon his camel Al-Qaswa, giving a Khutbah, so
he said: O People! Indeed, I have left among you, that which if you hold fast to it, you
shall not go astray: The Book of Allah (Quran) and my Family, the People of my House
(Ahlul-Bait).(Sahih)

Both Sunnis and Shi'as accept that Muhammad said the

following:
"I am leaving among you something which is very important and should be followed,
you will not go astray if you get hold of it after I am gone, one part of it being more
important than the other: Allah's Book, which is a rope stretched from Heaven to Earth,
and my close relatives, who belong to my household. These two will not separate from
one another till they come down to the reservoir, so consider how you act regarding
them after my departure." (Tirmidhi, Sahih Muslim)
Both Sunnis and the Shi'a believe in respecting Ahl al-Bayt. However, the Shi'a believe
that the successors of the Prophet were appointed from the Ahl al-Bayt. Sunnis reject
the claim that only the Ahl al-Bayt should govern.
1) I leave with you Quran and Sunnah, Muwatta, 46/3
2) I leave with you Quran and Ahl al-bayt , Muslim 44/4, Nu2408; ibn hanbal 4/366;
darimi 23/1, nu 3319.
3) I leave for you the Quran alone you shall uphold it.
Muslim 15/19, nu 1218; ibn Majah 25/84, Abu dawud 11/56.
See Sahih Muslim, Book of Hajj, Book 7 , Number 2803:
Sunni-Muslims are the majority which counts as 90% of Muslims while the ShiaMuslims are less than 10 %, the rest belong to smaller Sects.
Needless to say, that this has opened the door to various interpretations, which clearly
contradict the Quran. And here we find the main reason for the dividing elements in
Islam.

38 | P a g e

In this Hadith, Muhammad, Allahs Prophet, explained

Ayat 75:16-29, by saying:
I was given the Quran and its equal with it (i.e., the Sunnah) (A Sahih
Hadith; Al-Hadithu Hujjatun bi-Nafsihi [21]). 29. [Albani, Muhammad Nasir ad-Deen.
Al-Hadithu Hujjatun bi-Nafsihi fi-l-Ahkami wa-l-Aqa-id (The Hadith is Proof Itself in
Matters of Law and Creed) (Pg. 26-27)] (Introduction to: Muhammad The Prophet of
Mercy Muhammads Role in Islam, by Jalal Abualrub, edited by Alaa Mencke
[Madinah Publishers and Distributors, First Edition: June 2007], p. 34)

Narrated Al-Miqdam ibn Madikarib:

The Prophet said:

Beware! I have been given the Quran and something like it, yet the time
is coming when a man replete on his couch will say: Keep to the Quran; what you find
in it to be permissible treat as permissible, and what you find in it to be prohibited treat
as prohibited. Beware! The domestic ass, beasts of prey with fangs, a find belonging to
confederate, unless its owner does not want it, are not permissible to you If anyone
comes to some people, they must entertain him, but if they do not, he has a right to
mulct them to an amount equivalent to his entertainment. (Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 40,
Number 4587)

39 | P a g e

So the question to ask these Sunnis and Shites who differ in terms of what the Prophet
Muhammad received we have to do an investigation of the Quran to verify what did
the Prophet Muhammad receive as wahyun (revelation).

Allah says that only the Quran was revealed to the Prophet
Muhammad:
"The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which unzila (was sent down) the Qur'an, hudan
(a guidance) for the people wabayyintin (and clear proofs) of hud (guidance) walfur'qni (and criterion). So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it;
and whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other days. Allah intends
for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the
period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will
be grateful." Sura 2/185
"Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the verses of the clear Book. Indeed, anzalnhu (We have sent
it down) as an Arabic Qur'an that you might understand. We relate to you, asana (the
best) qaai (of the stories) in what anzalnhu (awayn) to you of this Qur'an
although you were, before it, among the unaware." Sura 12/1-3
"Ta, Ha. Not anzaln (We have sent down) to you the Qur'an that you be
distressed. but tadhkiratan (as a reminder) for those who hold Allah in
awe. tanzlan (A revelation) from He who created the earth and highest heavens." Sura
20/1-4
"And thus anzalnhu (We have sent it down) as an Arabic Qur'an waarrafn (and
have explained) in it the warnings that perhaps they will avoid sin or it would cause
them remembrance." 20/113
"Ya Seen. And the Quran akmi (the wise). Indeed you, are from among the
messengers, On a irin (path) mus'taqmin (straight). tanzla (A revelation) of the
Mighty, the Merciful. That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned,
so they are unaware." Sura 36/1-6
"Ha. Mim. A revelation from the Lord of Mercy, the Giver of Mercy; Book whose verses
have been detailed, an Arabic Qur'an for a people who know.As a giver of good tidings
and a warner; but most of them turn away, so they do not hear." Sura 41/1-4
Say, "What thing akbaru (is greatest) shahdatan (as a testimony)?" Say, "
Allah shahdun (is witness) between me and you. waiya (And it has been revealed
to me) this Qur'an that I may warn you thereby and whomever it reaches. Do you
40 | P a g e

[truly] testify that with Allah there are other deities?" Say, "I will not testify [with you]."
Say, "Indeed, He is but one Allah, and indeed, I am free of what you associate [with
Him]." Sura 6/19
So we have all of the above ayats establishes the muhkamaat ayats in terms of
conveying to us what did the Prophet Muhammad receive, what was revealed to the
Prophet Muhammad as wahyun. All of the above ayats states that the wahyun
(revelation) revealed to the Prophet was the Quran only. We dont see any Hadith,
Sunnah, Ahlul Bayt, 12 Imams or Code 19 next the muhkamaat ayats above.
This point cannot be refuted. They cant assume or misinterpret these ayats above that it
was only the Quran revealed to the Prophet.

What did the Prophet Muhammad obey/follow?

Even the Prophet Muhammad had to obey/follow the Messenger. Some Sunnis and
Shites get confused with this expression. They dont know what this truly means when I
say even the Prophet had to obey/follow the Messenger.
Allah addresses the man, Muhammad as the Prophet which represents the human side
of the Messenger numerous times. The Prophet Muhammad is never addressed
especially while being chastise as Messenger. When Allah had to correct Muhammad,
he was corrected as Prophet.

Now Allah says to Muhammad:

Allah says:
O you prophet, when the believing women who abandoned the disbelievers to seek
asylum with you pledge to you that they will not set up any idols besides Allah, nor
steal, nor commit adultery, nor kill their children, nor fabricate any falsehood, nor
disobey your righteous orders, you shall accept their pledge, and pray to Allah to
forgive them " Sura 60/12
But because Allah spoke to him as a prophet, He restricted the Prophets being obeyed
to righteousness, and so He said:
nor disobey your righteous orders.
Thus, obeying the prophet [means] obeying Allah the One who revealed the Qur'an.
The Prophet himself was the first person to obey the Messenger/message/ the Qur'an.

41 | P a g e

Obeying the messenger means obeying the Qur'an which Allah revealed to the
messenger; and the messenger or the Qur'an, is still among us.
One doesnt place ones belief in Muhammad the person but rather, in what was
revealed to Muhammad.
Those who believe and work righteousness, and believe in what was sent down to
muammadin (Muhammad) - which is the truth from their Lord - He remits their sins,
and blesses them with contentment." Sura 47/2
O you nabiyu (prophet), you shall ittaqi (reverence) Allah and do not obey the
disbelievers and the hypocrites. Allah is Omniscient, Most Wise. wa-ittabi (AND
FOLLOW) what is y (REVEALED) to you from your Lord. Allah is fully Cognizant
of everything you all do. And put your trust in Allah. Sura 33/1-3
Allah is instructing the Prophet Muhammad to " wa-ittabi (And FOLLOW) what is
y (revealed) to you from your Lord."

Allah says whilst addressing both us and the prophet:

This scripture has been revealed to you - you shall not harbor doubt about it in your
heart - that you may warn with it, and to provide a reminder for the believers. Follow
what is revealed to you from your Lord; do not follow awliya (any allies) besides
Him. Rarely do you take heed." Sura 7/2-3

There is a hidden marvel in Allahs prohibiting us thus:

do not follow awliya (any allies) besides Him
If you think about it carefully, Allah is saying this because using sources other than the
Qur'an means that you have made them equal to Allah and His Book; this constitutes
setting up awliya (any allies) alongside Allah, despite the fact that Allah is enough as
an ally for the believer, and the Qur'an is enough as a book.
Allah says,
"Say: I follow only that which is inspired in me from my Sustainer. This (Qur'an) is
insight from your Sustainer, and a guidance and a mercy for a people that believe. And
when the Qur'an is recited, give ear to it and pay heed, that ye may obtain mercy." Sura
7/203-204

42 | P a g e

Qul Say, m (not) kuntu (I am) bid'an (a new one) mina (among) l-rusuli (the
Messengers) I have no idea what will happen to me or to you. attabiu (I FOLLOW)
what y (IS REVEALED) to me. I am no more than a profound warner." Sura 46/9
"I tell you not that with me are the Treasures of Allah, nor do I know what is hidden,
nor do I tell you I am an angel. I but attabiu (FOLLOW) what y (IS REVEALED)
to me." Say: "Can the blind be held equal to the seeing?" Will ye then consider not? Sura
6/50
Say: "If ye do love Allah, fa-ittabin (THEN FOLLOW ME): Allah will love you
and forgive you your sins: For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." Surah 3/31

Allah tells the believers/Muslims to follow the light

that was revealed to him:
"Those who yattabina (FOLLOW) the apostle, the umiya Prophet, whom they find
mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the Gospel;- for he commands them
what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and
pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their
heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in
him, honour him, help him, wa-ittaba (AND FOLLOW) nra (THE LIGHT) which
is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper." Surah 7/157
"Indeed there has come to you from Allah nrun (A LIGHT) and a Clear Book. bihi
(With it) Allah guides whoever ittabaa (FOLLOWS) His good pleasure to the ways of
peace and brings them out from the darkness into the light by His permission: He
guides them onto a straight path." Sura 5/15-16

Also in Surah 3/55, Allah says those who follow Isa ibn
Maryam will be superior to those who reject faith:
"O Isa! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of
those who blaspheme; I will make those who ittabaka (FOLLOWED YOU) superior
to those who reject Faith, to the Day of Resurrection; then shall ye all return unto Me,
and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute.

43 | P a g e

The question that needs to be asked is how did the followers of Isa ibn Maryam follow
Isa? Was it through what was revealed to him as well, Al Kitab, Al Hikmata (the
Wisdom), the Injil? Was it also through some outside books not mentioned called
Hadith and Sunnah of Isa ibn Maryam?

Even the Messenger that was sent to their respective

communities were supposed to be obeyed/followed:
"And warn nsa of a day when the doom will come upon them, and those who did
wrong will say: Our Lord! Reprieve us for a little while. nujib (We will answer)
dawataka (Your call) wanattabii (AND WE WILL FOLLOW) rusula (the messengers).
(It will be answered): Did ye not swear before that there would be no end for you?"
Surah 14/44
So, the Qur'an explains itself and its Allah WHO is the Teacher of His Book even the
Prophet Muhammad could not explain the Qur'an. He had to follow the Qur'an and it
was the Qur'an which was the LIGHT that was revealed to him that his people had to
follow along with the rest of alamin.

Allah says:
"Indeed there has come to you from Allah nrun (a Light) and a Clear Book. bihi (With
it) Allah guides whoever ittabaa (follows) His good pleasure to the ways of peace and
brings them out from the darkness into the light by His permission..." corresponds to
Surah 7/157 Allah says,
"He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So
it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, wa-ittaba (and
follow) nra (the light) which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper."
Surah 7/157

Allah says again and again wa-ittaba (and follow) nra (the
light) which was sent down to the Prophet Muhammad and the light is
the Quran. No where do we ever see follow:
1)
2)
3)
4)

Sunnah
Hadith
Ahlul Bayt
12 Imams
44 | P a g e

5) Code 19

Another mutashabihaat/ambiguous ayat the Sunnis

and Shites love to recite is:
" And We did not send any messenger except liyua (to be obeyed) by permission of
Allah. And if, when they wronged themselves, they had come to you and asked
forgiveness of Allah and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would
have found Allah Accepting of repentance and Merciful. Indeed, by your Lord, they
will not believe till yuakkimka (they make you judge) in their disputes and find no
constraint in their minds about your decisions and accept them with full acquiescence."
Sura 4/64-65
So now Allah says clearly that they cant be believers until they make the Prophet
Muhammad judge in their disputes and find no constraint in their minds about his
decisions and accept them with full acquiescence.
Would Allah allow the Prophet Muhammad decisions based strictly from his own self?
Does this ayat literally mean that the man, the Prophet would speak according to what
he himself thinks, feels, his own desires? Or does this also as I have indicated imply
another mutashabihaat/ambiguous ayat?
Allah answers the question in terms of how the man, the Prophet name Muhammad
would judge the people and it is not based upon his own judgment or his own
thoughts. The way the Prophet Muhammad would judge the people is based upon the
Book revealed to the Prophet which is the Quran.

Allah says:
"We have sent down to you this Book of truth, litakuma (so that you may judge)
between the people." Sura 4/105
Both in Sura 4/64-65 yuakkimka and in Sura 4/105 are the same word
litakuma and is saying the same thing there is no SEPARATING the two accept that
he is to judge them by what was sent down to him. Basically, he has to use the Quran
to judge them.
"... waman (And whoever) lam (does not) yakum (JUDGE) bim (BY WHAT) ALLAH
anzala (HAS REVEALED) - then it is those who are the disbelievers." Sura 5/44

45 | P a g e

"... waman (And whoever) lam (does not) yakum (JUDGE) bim (BY WHAT) ALLAH
anzala (HAS REVEALED) - then it is those who are the disbelievers." Sura 5/45
"... waman (And whoever) lam (does not) yakum (JUDGE) bim (BY WHAT) ALLAH
anzala (HAS REVEALED) - then it is those who are the disbelievers." Sura 5/47
wa-ani (And that) u'kum (you judge), baynahum (between them) bim (BY WHAT)
ALLAH anzala (HAS REVEALED) TO YOU (QUR'AN) and do not follow their
inclinations and beware of them, lest they tempt you away from some of what Allah has
revealed to you. And if they turn away - then know that Allah only intends to afflict
them with some of their [own] sins. And indeed, many among the people are defiantly
disobedient." Sura 5/49
"[Say], 'Then is it other than Allah I should seek akaman (as judge) while it is He
who has revealed to you the BOOK EXPLAINED IN DETAIL?' And those to whom We
[previously] gave the Scripture know that it is sent down from your Lord in truth, so
never be among the doubters." Sura 6/114
Say: "For me, I (work) on a clear sign from my Lord, but ye reject Him. What ye would
see hastened, is not in my power. The command rests with none but Allah: He declares
the truth, and He is the best filna (of the deciders). Sura 6/57
Then they His servants are returned to Allah , their true Lord. Unquestionably, His
uk'mu (is the judgment), and He is the swiftest of accountants. Sura 6/62
You do not serve besides Him but names which you have named, you and your
fathers; Allah has not sent down any authority. Not uk'mu (is the judgment) but for
Allah; He has commanded that you shall not serve aught but Him; this is the right deen
but most people do not know. Sura 12/40
And he said: O my sons! do not (all) enter by one gate and enter by different gates and
I cannot avail you aught against Allah anything; Not uk'mu (is the judgment) except
for Allah; upon Him do I rely, and on Him let those who are reliant rely. Sura 12/67
And He is Allah, there is no god but He! All praise is due to Him in this (life) and the
hereafter, and His uk'mu (is the judgment), and to Him you shall be brought back.
Sura 28/70
(It will be said): "This is because, when Allah Alone was invoked (in worship, etc.) you
disbelieved, but when partners were joined to Him, you believed! fal-uk'mu (So the
judgment) is only with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great!" Sura 40/12
46 | P a g e

And in whatever thing you differ in it of a thing, fauk'muhu (then its judgment)
thereof is (in) Allah's (hand); that is Allah, my Lord, on Him do I rely and to Him do I
turn time after time. Sura 42/10
As the Quran presents to us clearly, Al-Hukm or the Judgment or the Rule or the
Command belongs to none but Allah alone. Hence, the judgment does not belong to
any one including the Prophets.

Allah does not take anyone as partner in His Hukm:

Say, " Allah is most knowing of how long they remained. He has [knowledge of] the
unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth. How Seeing is He and how Hearing!
They have not besides Him any protector, and He shares not uk'mihi (His legislation)
with anyone. Sura 18:26

Allah alone is Khair-ul-Hakimin

And if there should be a group among you who has believed in that with which I have
been sent and a group that has not believed, then be patient until Allah yakuma
(judges) between us. And He is khayru kimna (the best of judges)." Sura 7/87
wa-ittabi (And follow) what is revealed to you, and be patient until yakuma lahu
(Allah will judge). And He is khayru kimna (the best of judges). Sura 10/109
Then when they despaired of him, they retired, conferring privately together. The
eldest of them said: Do you not know that your father took from you a covenant in
Allah's name, and how you fell short of your duty with respect to Yusuf before?
Therefore I will by no means depart from this land until my father permits me or
yakuma lahu (Allah decides) for me, and He is khayru kimna (the best of
judges). Sura 12/80

Allah alone is Ahkam-ul-Hakimin

And Noah called to his Lord and said, "My Lord, indeed my son is of my family; and
indeed, Your promise is true; and You are akamu kimna (the most just of
judges)!" Sura 11/45
Is not Allah bi-akami kimna (the most just of judges)? Sura 95/8

Can the Prophet Muhammad guide people?

47 | P a g e

This alleged Sunnah or the Way of the Prophet is not part of Al-Hukm, since Allah does
not take any partners in His Hukm based upon Sura 18/26.
Since the death of the man, the Prophet name Muhammad Sunnis and Shites love to call
to the Sunnah of Muhammad, they call to the Hadith of Muhammad and claim that this
Sunnah is what will give us life. Some Muslims go so far to say:

The Sunnah is like the Ark of Noah Imaam Maalik said,"The Sunnah is like
the Ark of Noah. Whoever embarks upon it reaches salvation and whoever refuses is
drowned." Quoted by Shaikh ul-Islaam Ibn Taimiyyah in Majmoo' ul-fataawaa (4/5)
The Sunnah is like the ark of noah, whoever treads upon it, shall be saved.
This was said by some of the most prestige Scholars of Islam but the problem is do they
have the Bayyinaat (Clear Evidence) from the Quran to back up their statement? Can
they prove their position using the Quran alone? They are putting much emphasis on
an alleged Sunnah that was allegedly left over 1,400 years ago by a man, a Prophet
name Muhammad. Again, does the Quran claim that this Sunnah is what saves us?
Allah says:
Say, Are there of shurakikum (your partners) any who yahd (guides) to aqi (the
truth)? Say, Allah yahd (guides) lilaqqi (to the truth). So is He (Allah) who yahd
(guides) to aqi (the truth) more worthy that yuttabaa (he should be followed) or he
(Prophet Muhammad) who guides not ill (unless) yuhd (he is guided)? Then what
is [wrong] with you how do takumna (you judge)? Sura 10/35

So now when we break this down Allah says:

Are there of shurakikum (your partners) ==> SUNNAH/HADITH <== any who
yahd (guides) to aqi (the truth)?
Sunnis and Shites claim that the Sunnah of Muhammad guides and they say that its the
like the Ark if its boarded we will be saved. However, Allah says are there any
shurakikum (your partners) and partners can be Isa ibn Maryam, Prophet
Muhammad, his Hadith/Sunnah, Buddha, Confucius it can be any one whom we deem
is qualified to guide us do they truly guide? The answer to this question is no, of course
the).
So is He (Allah) who yahd (guides) to aqi (the truth) more worthy that yuttabaa
(he should be followed)
48 | P a g e

We all know that it is Allah alone who guides to the truth and more worthy to be
followed instead of a human being. Isa ibn Maryam, Prophet Muhammad all of them
fits this description of not being able to guide any one.
or he (Prophet Muhammad) who guides not ill (unless) yuhd (he is guided)
We can even place Prophet Muhammads name, Isa ibn Maryams name and any other
human being name inside this ayat because Allah makes it clear that he who guides not
unless he too is given guidance is not worthy to be followed.
Remember, Prophet Muhammad before the guidance of Allah was LOST/ASTRAY and
he could not guide any one basically he needed guidance himself:
"alam (Did not) yajid'ka (He find you) yatman (an orphan) faw
(and give shelter?) wawajadaka (And He found you) llan (lost), fahad
(so He guided...) Sura 93/7

Allah makes it clear that ONLY Allah guides to the Truth and not
anything outside of Allah's Guidance like Hadith/Sunnah books
authorized by men's desires hence not authorized by Allah:
"And the Hudan (Jews) will not be pleased with you, nor nar (the Nazarenes) until
tattabia (you follow) millatahum (their way). Say: inna (Indeed) Surely Allah's hud
(guidance), huwa (it) hud (is the guidance). And if ittabata (you follow) ahwahum
(their desires) after the knowledge that has come to you, you shall have no guardian
from Allah, nor any helper." Sura 2/120

Allah tells us that it is ONLY Allah's GUIDANCE that

guides:
"And believe not save in one who follow dnakum (your system) - Say: inna (Indeed)!
hud (the true guidance) hud (is the Guidance) of Allah - that anyone is given the
like of that which was given unto you or that they may argue with you in the presence
of their Lord. Say Lo! the bounty is in Allah's hand. He bestoweth it on whom He will.
Allah is All-Embracing, All-Knowing." Sura 3/73

Allah tells us clearly why do we call to, run to

anything besides Allah that profits us not nor hurts us
such as Hadith/Sunnah books that has become
49 | P a g e

companions/partners with Allah calling them to

guidance outside of Allah's Guidance:
"Say: Shall we call, instead of unto Allah, unto that which neither profiteth us nor
hurteth us and shall we turn back after Allah hadn (hath guided us), like one
bewildered whom shaynu (the devils) have infatuated in the earth, who hath
abun (companions) who invite him to the guidance (saying): Come unto us Say:
inna (Indeed) hud (the guidance) of Allah huwa (it) hud (is Guidance), and we are
ordered to surrender to the Lord of the Worlds." Sura 6/71

Now there are some Muslims who say:

"The Prophets Sunnah is not only the second source, right after the Quran, of Islamic
Shariah (Law), but also the second source, again right after the Quran, of which both
knowledge and civilization flow. Primarily, the Quran establishes the bases and
principles of legislation, whereas the Sunnah provides theoretical interpretation as well
as example and practical application. The Prophets guidance as exemplified in the
Sunnah guides Muslims to three basic inseparable aspects of civilization, namely:
civilized Fiqh (Jurisprudence), civilized conduct, and civilized structure."
http://www.onislam.net/english/reading-islam/about-muhammad/he-said/442606the-sunnah-a-source-of-civilization-.html

Allah informs us clearly that Prophet Muhammad CANNOT GUIDE any

one including whom he loves so how can a Sunnah guide any one that
was not legislated by Allah:
"innaka (Indeed, you) l (cannot) tahd (guide) whom you love. But it is Allah who
yahd (guides) whom He wills; and He is fully aware of those who receive the
guidance." Sura 28/56

Allah informs us that Prophet Muhammad is NOT RESPONSIBLE for

guiding any one it is Allah alone who guides:
"laysa (Not) alayka (on You) hudhum (is their guidance) walkinna (and but) Allah
guides whom He wills." Sura 2/272

50 | P a g e

Allah instructs the Prophet Muhammad to say that he

does not have the power to harm, benefit or guiding
any one:
"Say, inn (Indeed, I) la (do not) amliku (posses) lakum (for you) any harm, wal (and
not) rashadan (the right path)." Sura 72/21
Qul Say, m (not) kuntu (I am) bid'an (a new one) mina (among) l-rusuli (the
Messengers) I have no idea what will happen to me or to you. I only follow what is
revealed to me. I am no more than a profound warner." Sura 46:9
This is what the Qur'an says about our Prophet Muhammad he is helpless when it
comes to the guidance. The truth of the matter is Allah alone guides. Wake up Muslims
and see the truth it is the Qur'an that guides if Allah Will not any source outside of the
Qur'an not legislated by Allah.

Some Muslims mistaken and say the Prophet

Muhammad is the Best Example for us
Unfortunately, we have millions of Sunnis and minus thousands if not millions of Shites
the minority after the Sunnis who claim that we all should follow the Sunnah of
Muhammad. They also go against the Quran because Allah tells us not to make any
distinctions between Allah and His Messengers.
Sura 2/136
The Messenger believes in what has been sent down to him from his Lord, and (so do)
the believers. Each one believes in Allah, His Angels, His Books, and His Messengers.
(They say), "nufarriqu (We make no distinction) between one another of His
Messengers" - and they say, "We hear, and we obey. (We seek) Your Forgiveness, our
Lord, and to You is the return (of all)." Sura 2/285
Say: "We believe in Allah and in what has been sent down to us, and what was sent
down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob) and Al51 | P a g e

Asbat [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)] and what was given to Musa
(Moses), 'sa and the Prophets from their Lord. Nufarriqu (We make
no distinction) between one another among them and to Him (Allah) we have
submitted (in Islam)." Sura 3/84
Verily, those who disbelieve in Allah and His Messengers and yufarriq (they
differentiate) between Allah and His saying, "We believe in some but reject others," and
wish to adopt a way in between. Sura 4/150
And those who believe in Allah and His Messengers and yufarriq (they make
no distinction) between any of them (Messengers), We shall give them their rewards;
and Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. Sura 4/152
Fa-Ra-Qaf = to separate/distinguish/divide/split/decide.
farqun - the act of distinction or separating.
fariq - who separates, discriminates.
firqun - separate part, heap.
firqatun - band of human beings.
fariqun - part/portion, some party or band of human beings.
furqan - criterion of right or wrong, draft, evidence or demonstration, a name of The
Quran, aid, victory, argument, proof, dawn, distinction.
faraqa (vb. 2) to make a division or distinction, make a schism.
tafriq - division, dissension.
faraqa (vb. 3) To quit, depart.
mutafarriqun - diverse, different.
fariqa - to fear, be frightened, plunge in the wave, seek refuge in fear, succour.
yafraqu - to be timid and afraid, appear in one's true colour, be cowardly, be ridden by
fear.
Allah is telling us not to separate, divide ourselves between Allah and His Prophets.
The polytheist Christians does this especially for Isa ibn Maryam. When it comes to Isa
ibn Maryam they say hes Allah in the flesh, literally, the son of Allah and they dont
have any evidence in the Tawrah nor in the Injil to validate this claim. Allah denies
these claims in the Quran. They separate Isa ibn Maryam from all of the other Prophets
52 | P a g e

of Allah. When similarities are drawn between Isa ibn Maryam being called
metaphorically son of Elohim and told other Prophets and Nations were called Son of
Elohim they say this is different.
When other Prophets raised according to the Tawrah such as Elijah and Elisha, they say
this is different from Isa ibn Maryam. Sunnis and Shites have fallen right into the same
Matrix of deception of the Shaytanu when it comes to Prophet Muhammad.
For example, Sunnis and Shites love to say that the Quran tells us that the Quran says
that the Prophet Muhammad is the best example.

The following verse is used by traditional followers who commit such

idolizing of the Prophet Muhammad, in justifying what they do:
"Indeed, in the messenger of Allah an Uswatun Hasana /
(Excellent Example)
good example)' has been set for the one who seeks Allah and the Last Day and thinks
constantly about Allah." Sura 33/21
Here we have the Arabic word uswatun hasana /
) that says excellent, good but
it does not mean best example. They say that Allah has given the Sunnah and the
Hadith of the Prophet as a permanent and vital position in the deen of Islam.further
they claim following the Prophets example has been made a part of of faith, an
accompaniment to faith in Allah, and the Last Day, and any one who does not accept
and follow this example cannot claim by the evidence according to them that according
to the Word of Allah itself, to be complete in faith.
They believe the word uswatun hasan/excellent example has been used absolutely,
not limited to any particular aspect of the Prophets life and they believe this covers his
words, his deeds, his persmissions, and prohibitions, his private and public behavior,
his service to Allah and his administration, his moral qualities and his manners.

53 | P a g e

Hence, they say that the Prophets Sunnah is hereby elevated to the position of a
divine institution in Islam, and his sayings a divinely authorized interpretation of
Allahs message.
Some Sunnis and Shites get to believing that we have to follow this example outside of
the Quran and look into Persian Imam Books of Hadith by Sahih Bukhari and company
to get this example.

They literally believe:

1. We have to walk like him
2. Talk like him
3. Eat like him
4. Sleep like him
5. Engage in Sexual pleasure with our wives like him
6. Stand on the tree like him
7. Eat with our right hand like him
8. Wear our beards like him
9. Sit down like him
10. Use the toilet like him
The question that needs to be asked is this what Allah saying for us to do in the Quran?
Allah tells us to follow the 'good example' we have to wonder does this mean literally,
being in his choice of favourite colour, favourite food, the way he felt like sitting - the
prophetic 'good example' was in his faith.
On the other hand, is the Quran telling us to follow the Messengers example, how he
relied on Allah at all times, and passed all the trials and tribulations he faced without
ever losing faith in Allah. Prophet Muhammads patience in overcoming difficult times
and encouraging others to do the same, fearing Allah as well as upholding the Qur'an at
all times. Basically, everything which makes a great believer to Allah is what made the
prophet an Uswatun Hasana /
'excellent example'.

The Qur'an extols the Prophet Muhammad's high

character.
Verily you are of a high and noble character. Sura 68/4
Among you is a Messenger who is distressed by your difficulties. He is anxious for
your welfare, and is generous towards the believers. Sura 9/128
54 | P a g e

With Allah's grace, you behaved with them with a kind heart. For if you were vengeful
or hard hearted, they may have abandoned you. Sura 3/159
The Prophet was sincere and honest in all his matters, as Allah had ordered him.
Allah, the Exalted, says:
"Say, Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah,
Lord of the worlds. No partner has He. And this I have been commanded and I am the
first (among you) of the Muslims." Sura 6/162-163

What was the teachings of the Messenger?

Hence, the Quran is very clear as to what consists of the divine teachings conveyed by
the messenger and what is it that he forbids people from. He is giving only the Quran
as divine teaching:
"We know best what they say, and you are not one to compel them; therefore remind
him by means of the Quran who fears My Promise." Sura 50/45
"Shall I then seek a Ruler other than Allah? When He it is Who has revealed to you the
Book which is distinctly elucidated;" Sura 6/114
"And this Quran has been revealed to me that with it I may warn you and whomsoever
it reaches" Sura 6/19
"And this is a Book We have revealed, blessed; therefore follow it and guard against evil
that mercy may be shown to you." Sura 6/155
The Quran tells us that it was the Quran that the messenger was conveying to the
people as wahyun (Revelation), Allah forbids us from accepting any other Book outside
of the Divine revelations revealed already as Allahs guidance other than the divine
revelations revealed by Allah.
"Say: Then bring some (other) book from Allah which is a better guide than both of
them, (Tawrah / Quran) that I may follow it, if you are truthful." Sura 28/49

A Book revealed to you so let there be no straitness in your breast on account of it that
you may warn thereby, and a reminder close to the believers. Follow what has been

55 | P a g e

revealed to you from your Sustainer and do not follow awliya (any allies) besides Him
how little do you mind." Sura 7:2-3
"And We have not given them any kutubin (books) yadrusnah (which they study),
nor did We send to them before you a warner." Sura 34:44

Thus, studying the Quran carefully, we will see what the Quran
informed as to what the messenger conveyed as divine orders and what
is it that he asked his people to abstain from:
"But nay, by thy lord, they will not believe (in truth) until they make you judge of what
is in dispute between them and find within themselves no dislike of that which you
decide, and submit with full submission." Sura 4/65
Now its clear in the Quran that the eople are to make the messenger a judge between
their disputes, and accept his decisions with the fullest conviction.
But the question that should be asked, how did the messenger judge among the people?

Did the Prophet Muhamamd govern by his own mind, his own rules, his
own desires?
The Quran provides us the answer to this question when it states:
And judge, between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their
inclinations and beware of them, lest they tempt you away from some of what Allah has
revealed to you. And if they turn away then know that Allah only intends to afflict
them with some of their [own] sins. And indeed, many among the people are defiantly
disobedient. Sura 5/49
So here we have in a clear ayat that the Prophet Muhammad was a judge among the
people this we can see however, his judgements and decisions were not by his own self,
his own desires but he governed by the Book of Allah. Thus it is clear from the above
ayat the the Messenger of Allah didnt pass judgment on his own accord but he did
execute judgement among the people by the Book of Allah and the differences and
disputes were resolved by Allahs Book, and not any other book or opinion.

His people didnt call him a liar but they did reject the
ayats of Allah:
56 | P a g e

"We know indeed that what they say certainly grieves you, but surely they do not call
you a liar; but the unjust deny biyti (the verses)of Allah." Sura 6/33
"And recite that which hath been revealed unto you of kitbi (the Book) of your
Sustainer. There is none who can change His words, and you wilt find no refuge beside
Him." Sura 18/27
Now the Sunnis and Shites once again believes this goes outside of the Quran and
makes us follow the personal, human side of the Messenger which leads us to idolizing
the Prophet name Muhammad and his personal traits. Hence, the Personal traits are
what everyone will have and they vary with worldly variables - everyone is entitled to
have their own likes and habits, and they should be appreciated as what makes each of
us unique. We are not told to look outside of the Quran for the Uswatun Hasana /
'excellent example' of the Messenger. All we need is right in the Quran.
But like the Christians who idolize Isa ibn Maryam and make certain unique
expressions like son of Elohim or raising the dead exclusive for Isa ibn Maryam in
which they are not, Sunnis and Shites have done the same to the Prophet Muhammad
saying that the expression Uswatun Hasana /
'excellent example' is exclusive
just to the Prophet Muhammad. Upon further investigation, studying the Quran
carefully, we see that the identical phrase has been used in the following verse to
describe Prophet Ibrahim:
"There has been an Uswatun Hasana /
Ibrahim and those with him..." Sura 60/4

'excellent example' set for you by

They claim that the Hadith and Sunnah of the Prophet are demonstrated by the Quran
to be divinely inspired and to form a permenant part of the message of Allah to man.
This is far from the truth. Since Prophet Ibrahim was the same "uswatun hasana /
", and it does not mean his habits and personal attributes - rather his faith, we thus
see that indeed we have the correct understanding of "uswatun hasana /
" as
applicable to Prophet Muhammad, since the same words are used to describe both of
them.

Prophet Muhammad was instructed to say, Say:

"I tell you not that with me are the Treasures of Allah, nor do I know what is hidden,
nor do I tell you I am an angel. I but attabiu (follow) what is revealed to me." Say:
"Can the blind be held equal to the seeing?" Will ye then consider not? Sura 6/50

Prophet Muhammad was instructed to say, Say:

Say, "I am not different from other messengers, I have no idea what will happen to me
or to you. I only attabiu (follow) what is revealed to me. I am no more than a
profound warner." Sura 46:9
"And warn Nasi of a day when the doom will come upon them, and those who did
wrong will say: Our L ord! Reprieve us for a little while. nujib (We will answer)
dawataka (Your call) wanattabii (and will follow) rusula (the messengers). (It will be
answered): Did ye not swear before that there would be no end for you?" Surah 14:44
Hence, since 'obey the messenger' means Hadith to some did all of the messengers bring
a 'Sunnah' to follow?

If you notice here Allah ask the question:

"nujib (We will answer) dawataka (Your call)" so what is the difference from the
Prophet Muhammad being instructed to say:
"Say: obey Allah and the messenger. But if they turn away, lo! Allah loveth not the
disbelievers (in His guidance)." Surah 3:32
and in continuance of obeying which comes first Allah says:

"wanattabii (and will follow) rusula (the messengers)"

Notice it says and follow the 'messengers' what is the

difference from the Prophet Muhammad saying:
"Say: If ye love Allah, follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. Allah is
Forgiving, Merciful." Surah 3:31
So we have here in the plural 'obey' the call of the 'messengers' and we have follow the
'messengers' so this tells me that 'obeying the messenger' isn't unique in the Qur'an just
62 | P a g e

for the Prophet Muhammad. And if this is the case as some Muslims following Hadith
claim then they would have to produce evidence instructing us to follow other 'Hadith'
and 'Sunnah' practices other than the Divine revelations that were revealed by Allah to
previous Messengers of the past.

To follow only means following their example as set in the

Quran...
1) How they was humble,
2) how they was patient,
3) how they had trust in Allah...
4) Following them on the straight path...
5) Following their attitude towards the poor and how they treated others
Allah says,
"And We had certainly given Ibrahim rush'dahu (his guidance) before, and We were of
him well-Knowing." 21/51
"And thus did We show Abraham the realm of the heavens and the earth that he would
be among the certain [in faith]. So when the night covered him [with darkness], he saw
a star. He said, "This is my lord." But when it set, he said, "I like not those that
disappear." And when he saw the moon rising, he said, "This is my lord." But when it
set, he said, "Unless my Lord guides me, I will surely be among the people gone
astray." And when he saw the sun rising, he said, "This is my lord; this is greater." But
when it set, he said, "O my people, indeed I am free from what you associate with Allah
. Indeed, I have turned my face toward He who created the heavens and the earth,
inclining toward truth, and I am not of those who associate others with Allah
." wajjahu (And with him) his people. He said, "atujjnn (Do you argue with
me) concerning Allah while hadni (He has guided me)? And I fear not what
tush'rikna (you associate) with Him unless my Lord should will something. My Lord
encompasses all things in knowledge; then will you not remember? And how should I
fear what you associate while you do not fear that you have associated with Allah that
for which He has not sent down to you any authority? So which of the two parties has
more right to security, if you should know? They who believe and do not mix their
belief with injustice - those will have security, and they are [rightly] guided. And that
ujjatun (was Our [conclusive] argument) which We gave Abraham against his people.
We raise by degrees whom We will. Indeed, your Lord is Wise and Knowing." Sura
6/75-83
63 | P a g e

Allah tells us to follow the Millata (the creed) of

Ibrahim and also to use him as an example.
Allah says,
"There has already been for you an us'watun asanatun (excellent example) in Ibrahim
and those with him, when they said to their people, "Indeed, we are disassociated from
you and from whatever you worship other than Allah . We have denied you, and there
has appeared between us and you animosity and hatred forever until you believe in
Allah alone" except for the saying of Ibrahim to his father, "I will surely ask forgiveness
for you, but I have not power to do for you anything against Allah . Our Lord, upon
You we have relied, and to You we have returned, and to You is the destination." 60/4
"There has certainly been for you in them an us'watun asanatun (excellent
example) for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day. And whoever turns
away - then indeed, Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy." 60/6
Allah also says about Prophet Ibrahim uses the same Arabic word us'watun asanatun
(excellent example) which means excellent example.
We are advised to take Prophet Ibrahim as example.. and one of the example of Ibrahim
is his search for Allah through.
1) logic,
2) judgement,
3) reflection on the signs..
4) then he was guided...
There are many verses which point to this direction as well. Unless we want to say that
Allah pick and choose who He wants to guide.. hence, doing injustice to others.
Whereas, regarding Prophet Ibrahim his example is SET in the Quran for us to
FOLLOW.
For example Allah set the parable of a blind and a seer... It does not imply that we need
to become blind to experience the lesson from this example..
Its clear that Prophet Ibrahim used his LOGIC to find Allah and when Prophet Ibrahim
LOOKED at the SUN and deduced that it is AKBAR...

We are told to follow the Millata Ibrahim just like

Prophet Muhammad was told to follow
Allah NEVER says the Prophet Muhammad was the BEST EXAMPLE in Sura 33/21
again I presented the same exact Arabic word that Allah used in Sura 33/21 also was
used for Ibrahim in Sura 60/4. And we are also told LITERALLY that the Prophet was
instructed to follow who, Prophet Ibrahim and the Millata Ibrahim is mentioned
throughout the Qur'an by name. Unfortunately, there is never one ayat that says to
follow the Sunnah of Muhammad or the Hadith of Muhammad.
I'm not arguing at all or imposing my views just here to ask questions and present my
perspectives and research from what I have learned. This is clear that Prophet
Muhammad did not bring anything new of his own.
Why is the Millata Ibrahim mentioned throughout the Qur'an and not one time does
Allah mention in a clear ayat to follow the Sunnatu Rasoolullah or Sunnah of the
Messenger or Sunnah of Muhammad?
Allah says,
"Then We inspired to you: "You shall ittabi (follow) millata ibrahima (the way of
Ibrahim), anfan (upright), and he was not of those who set up partners." Sura 16/123
The infinitive imla meaning to dictate, contains the notion of something which is
dictated from any divine or undivine, mighty or unmighty, holy or non-holy source.
The word milla in its religious sense means a way, a path, or a cult which is dictated
and presented by a divine or perhaps undivine leader or group. Both cases have been
65 | P a g e

exemplified in the Quran:

"Who would abandon millati ib'rhma (the creed of Ibrahim) except one who fools
himself? We have selected him in this world, and in the Hereafter, he is of the
reformers." Sura 2/130

Again, Allah is instructing the Prophet Muhammad to

call to the millata Ibrahim (the way of Ibrahim):
"Say, " Allah has told the truth. fa-ittabi (then follow) millata ibrahima (the way of
Ibrahim) inclining toward truth; and he was not of the polytheists." Sura 3/95
"And who is fairer dnan (in the way) of life than he who submitted his face to Allah
and he is one who is a doer of good wa-ittabaa (and follows) millata ibrahima (the
way of Ibrahim), anfan (upright)? And Allah took Ibrahim to Himself khallan (as a
friend)." Sura 4/125

Prophet Yusuf abandoned millita (the way) of his

people who didn't belief in Allah along with rejecting
the hereafter:
He said: "There is not any provision of food that will come to you except that I will tell
you of its interpretation before it comes. That is from what my Lord has taught me. I
have just left millata (the way) qawmin (of a people) who do not believe in Allah, and
they are rejecting the Hereafter." Sura 12/37
Again and again we are told by Allah in His Book, the Qur'an to follow what, is it the
Sunnatu Rasoolulllah or the Millata Ibrahim? Prophet Yusuf tells them clearly who he
follows:
Allah says,
"wa-ittabatu (And I follow) millata (the way) b (of my fathers): ib'rhma, Isaac,
and Jacob. It was not for us to set up partners with God at all. That is Allah's blessings
over us and over the people, but most of the people are not thankful." Sura 12/38

66 | P a g e

He was fearless in his expression of faith. He argued with the religious

establishment, and the man who was given the kingdom.
Have you not considered him (Namrud) who disputed with Ibrahim about his Lord,
because Allah had given him the kingdom? When Ibrahim said: My Lord is He who
gives life and causes to die, he said: I give life and cause death. Ibrahim said: So surely
Allah causes the sun to rise from the east, then make it rise from the west; thus he who
disbelieved was confounded; and Allah does not guide aright the unjust people. Sura
2/258

He was compassionate, forbearing and humble.

Ibrahim was certainly a forbearing, compassionate, and tender-hearted person. Sura
11/75

He was hospitable.
And certainly did Our messengers come to Ibrahim with good tidings; they said,
"Peace." He said, "Peace," and did not delay in bringing [them] a roasted calf. Sura
11/69

Prophet Ibrahim even questioned Allah; how he will

resurrect humankind?
And when Abraham said (unto his Lord): My Lord! Show me how Thou givest life to
the dead, He said: Dost thou not believe? Abraham said: Yea, but (I ask) in order that
my heart may be at ease. (His Lord) said: Take four of the birds and cause them to
incline unto thee, then place a part of them on each hill, then call them, they will come
to thee in haste, and know that Allah is Mighty, Wise. Sura 2 260
Thus, milla in its most elementary concept is employed to mean path, rite or system
itself, as it may be applicable to people who follow that rite or way.Allah instructs us to
struggle in His way, and also from Allah Himself tells us that our millatat (the way) is
the way of our father Ibrahim. Thus, people are requested to recognize and practice the
divine way of the prophet Ibrahim. All of the above ayats indicates that at Ibrahims
milla as a divine path and or way.
Hence, since a divine path like that of Ibrahim was revealed and dictated by Allah, it is
called milla in the sense that it is a dictated path that should be followed by the
67 | P a g e

adherents of that divine dinan (manner of conduct). In either case, milla in its divine
sense is also attributed to the prophet or to the leader of a dinan (system). All of these
examples from Prophet Ibrahim can be found right in the Book of Allah but the key is
that we have to study His Book. Do we need to go to outside books to find the Prophet
Ibrahim's excellent example, no.
Now Allah uses the same Arabic word us'watun asanatun (excellent example) that
was used for Prophet Ibrahim now Allah uses it for Prophet Muhammad.
The Prophet Muhammad once again did not come with a new dinan/system or
'millata/way or sunnah'. The Prophet Muhammad only followed what was revealed to
him from his Lord which was the Qur'an alone.

What does Allah says about the Prophet Muhammad?

And indeed, you are khuluqin (of a moral character)amin (great). Sura 68/4
Indeed, in the messenger of Allah an Uswatun Hasana (excellent example) has been
set for you for he who seeks Allah and the Last Day and thinks constantly about Allah.
(Quran 33:21)

Does the Quran says that we need to look outside of

the Quran for the Messengers character?
Now the thing is Not I, but Allah tells us that His Book is COMPLETE, PERFECT,

FULLY DETAILED AND THAT IT EXPLAINS ALL THINGS Sura 6/114115; 16/89; 6/38; 12/111 and the question is do we believe what Allah says about His
Book?

68 | P a g e

Also reflect on this Allah tells us also to look to Prophet Ibrahim's example and his
followers and Allah uses the same Arabic word that was used for Prophet Muhammad
Uswatun Hasana.

Do you follow Prophet Ibrahim's example and if so

where do you get the example is it in Qur'an or
outside books?
When we read the Qur'an we are given detail about what the Prophets of Allah went
through including the Prophet Muhammad. We know that the Prophet Muhammad
faced a terrifying challenge in delivering the word of Allah to a people who were
accustomed to a way of life and traditions that completely contradicted the Sunnatu
Allah (Sunnah of Allah).

Abraham the friend of Allah

And who asanu (is better) dnan (in code of conduct) than one who aslama
(submits) himself to Allah while being mu'sinun (a doer of good) wa-ittabaa (and
follows) millata ib'rhma, anfan (the upright)? And Allah took Abraham as khallan
(an friend). Sura 4/125
"Didst not thou, O our Elohim, drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people
Israel, and give it for ever to the descendants of Abraham thy friend?" 2 Chronicles
20/7
"You, Israel, my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the offspring of Abraham, my
friend". lsaiah 41/8
"Abraham believed Elohim and it was reckoned to him as righteousness," and he was
called the friend of Elohim. James 2/23
Because of the description given to Abraham in Surah 4/125, that Elohim took him for a
khalil, a friend, he is thus called Khalilullah in Islam. Here we have our first point of
contact with Islam regarding the person of Abraham. The next thing to do is to examine
the implication of the title - why was Abraham called the Friend of Elohim and what
relationship between them is implied in the description?

Obey the Messenger or obey the man, the Prophet

Remember, Allah says:
69 | P a g e

Within the Quran we have mu'kamtun (that are precise) - they are ummu (the
foundation) and the other ayats we have wa-ukharu (and others) mutashbihtun
(unspecific/unclear) and again the Sunnis and Shites presents the Hadith and Sunnah
of Muhammad that they claim exist within the Quran as mutashbihtun
(unspecific/unclear) ayats.
Another belief of theirs as to why we should follow the Sunnah of Muhammad that is
nowhere to be found throughout the Quran is when Allah says Obey the Messenger.
Remember Allah says,
"Verily this Qur'an directs you to the path aqwamu (that is straight), and gives happy
tidings to those who believe and do the right: For them is a great reward." 17/9
So now we know what guides us to the path that is most straight and it has nothing to
do with the Hadith and Sunnah books of Sahih Bukhari/Muslim and company. It is the
Qur'an that guides us to the path that is straight. It is the Qur'an that the Prophet
Muhammad obeyed/followed and called to.
Allah says:
"A book hath been sent down unto thee: And therefore let there be no doubt in thy
breast concerning it; that thou mayest preach the same, and that it may be an
admonition unto the believers. ittabi (Follow) what has been sent down to you from
your Lord and do not follow any protectors apart from Him. How little you remember!"
7/2-3
They say 'Obey the Messenger' means to 'Obey Muhammad's Speech/Hadith' also
contained in the Hadith books of Sahih Bukhari/Muslim and company. Now what does
the Qur'an say about this matter is the question we should be asking.

70 | P a g e

A messenger perhaps any messenger must have a message to be a messenger, hence,

when you call someone a "messenger" you are directly linking them to the message, no
ifs or buts about it.
Allah says :
He who yutii (obeys) the Messenger, aa (obeyed)Allah. But if any turn away, We
have not sent thee to watch over their (evil deeds). Surah 4/80
Now lets examine the usage of the Arabic word yuii (obeys) in the Quran for
further clarity of the matter and how its used.
Allah says,
The Messenger believeth in what hath been revealed to him from his Lord, as do the
men of faith. Each one (of them) believeth in Allah, His angels, His books, and His
apostles. "We make no distinction (they say) between one and another of His apostles."
And they say: "We hear,wa-aan (and we obeyed): (We seek) Thy forgiveness, our
Lord, and to Thee is the end of all journeys." Surah 2:285
Remember also the expression Obey the Messenger isnt unique and exclusive again
just for the Prophet Muhammad. As I have demonstrated with other expressions such
as Uswatun Hasana/Excellent Example is used for Prophet Ibrahim
He who yutii (obeys) the Messenger, aa (obeyed) Allah

This is not a unique expression for the Prophet

Muhammad, thus it is for all of the Prophets of Allah:
In Surah 26:108, Allah tells us to OBEY Prophet Noah, "So fear Allah, wa-ani (and
obey me)"
Also in Surah 71:3, Noah said, That ye should worship Allah, fear Him wa-ani
(and obey me)
Allah tells us to OBEY Prophet Hud in Surah 26:126 So fear Allah, wa-ani (and
obey me)

71 | P a g e

Allah tells us to OBEY Prophet Saaleh in Surah 26:144 fear Allah, wa-ani (and
obey me) and in Surah 26:150 fear Allah, wa-ani (and obey me)
Allah tells us to OBEY Prophet LOT in Surah 26:163 You shall fear Allah waani(and obey me).
Allah tells us to OBEY Prophet Shuaib in Surah 26:179 fear Allah wa-ani (and
obey me)
Allah tells us to OBEY Prophet Isa in Surah 43:63 When Isa came with Clear Signs, he
said: "Now have I come to you with Wisdom, and in order to make clear to you some of
the (points) on which ye dispute: therefore fear Allah wa-ani (and obey me).
Now we have to ask ourselves does Allah say that it was only the Prophet Muhammad
as a Messenger of Allah was supposed to be followed. Of course not, all of the
messengers were sent to be obeyed as the Quran tells us.

Now compare what the Prophet Muhammad was

instructed to say:
"And wa-a (obey) Allah and wa-a (obey) the messenger and be cautious; but if
you turn back, then know that the sole duty of the messenger is the deliverance (of the
message)" Surah 5:92
"And wa-a (obey) Allah wa-a (and obey) the messenger, but if you turn back,
then upon Our messenger is the sole duty of the clear delivery (of the message)" 64:12
Whoever yuii (obeys) Allah and his Messenger will be admitted to gardens beneath
which rivers flow to live there (forever), and that will be the great achievement (Surah
An-Nisa 4:13)
In Surah 3:132 wa-a (and obey) Allah and the Messenger; that ye may obtain
mercy.
In Surah 47:33 Allah says, O ye who believe! wa-a (obey) Allah and wa-a
(obey) the Messenger, and make not vain your deeds!
Now if you research the word Messenger, is derived from the word Message. The duty
of a Messenger is to deliver a Message. Now if there was no message there would be
no messenger. Hence, to Obey the Messenger would thus mean to obey the message
he is delivering.
72 | P a g e

Further research will make it clear in the Quran that in the Book of Allah we never read
anywhere in the Quran words like "Obey Allah and obey Muhammad" or obey Isa, or
obey Moses as I have shown earlier.

"Obey the messenger" and never does Allah say to

obey the Prophet
This is to emphasize that it is the "message" of Allah that is to be obeyed and not the
personal words or views of the messenger. Again, the word Messenger is derived from
the word Message and if there was no message there would be no messenger.
Hence, to Obey the Messenger means to obey the message he delivered. In the Quran
we are told clearly that the purpose of the Messenger is to deliver the message and for
them to be obeyed.
Allah says:
"And warn nsa (Abrahamic Nation/People) of a day when the doom will come upon
them, and those who did wrong will say: Our Lord! Reprieve us for a little while. nujib
(We will answer) dawataka (Your call) wanattabii (AND WE WILL FOLLOW) rusula
(the messengers). (It will be answered): Did ye not swear before that there would be no
end for you?" Surah 14/44
wam (And not) arsaln (We send) any Messenger ill (except) liyua (to be
obeyed) bi-idh'ni (by the permission) of Allah. If they ever do injustice to themselves
and come to you asking for Allah's forgiveness and if the Messenger also was to ask
Allah to forgive them, they would certainly find Allah All-forgiving and All-merciful.
Sura 4/64
These ayats above says it clearly that all of Allahs Messengers were to be obeyed by
Allahs Permission even Prophet Muhammad. Did all of Allahs Messengers come
with their own Hadith and Sunnah books outside of having Al Kitab.

Allah tells us about people who assume and attribute partners/laws to

Allah without Allahs permission:
Allah says:
"And [that] He may punish the hypocrite men and hypocrite women, and the
polytheist men and polytheist women - those nna (who assume) about Allah anna
(an assumption) of evil nature. Upon them is a misfortune of evil nature; and Allah
73 | P a g e

has become angry with them and has cursed them and prepared for them Hell, and
evil it is as a destination." Sura 48/6
"Lo! is it not unto Allah that belongeth whosoever is in the heavens and whosoever is
in the earth? And not yattabiu (follow) those who invoke other than Allah, shuraka
(partners) not yattabina (they follow) but ana (the assumption/conjecture), and
they do but yakhruna (guess)." Sura 10/66
These followers of Hadith has made Hadith shuraka (partners) with Allah because
they follow zana (the assumption/conjecture) which is only but guesswork:

The Majority of Muslims follow Hadith/Sunnah books

and pays lip service to Qur'an. Allah warns us not to
follow majority:
"And if you obey akthara (most) of those upon the earth, yuillka (they will mislead
you) from sabli lahi (the way of Allah). Not yattabina (they follow) not
except ana (the assumption), and not they do except yakhruna (guess)." Sura
6/116
"Those who associated with Allah will say, "If Allah had willed, we would not have
associated anything and neither would our fathers, nor would we have prohibited
anything." Likewise did those before deny until they tasted Our punishment. qul
(Say), "hal (is) indakum (with you) min (of) il'min (any knowledge) fatukh'rijhu
(then produce it) lan (for us)? in (Not) tattabina (you follow) illa (except) ana
(the assumption), and not you do but takhruna (guess).qul (Say) falillahi (with
Allah) ujatu (is the argument) blighatu (the conclusive). And if He willed surely
He would have guided you all." Sura 6/148-49
Majority of Muslims between Sunnis and Shites all follow assumption, conjecture, and
hearsay in the form of Hadith. Allah says clearly that with Allah is the argument
conclusive. Allah says the Quran is the Best Hadith that guides straight by Allahs
Permission.

Some say the Prophet Muhammad received other

Wahyun (Revelation) besides the Quran
We have to study the Quran and see how Allah speaks to human beings because
Allah provides us all the information we need to get a better understanding. For
74 | P a g e

example Allah says:

It is not fitting libasharin (for any human) yukallimahu lahu (that Allah should
speak to him) except wayan (by revealation), or from behind ijbin (a veil), or
yur'sila (by the sending) raslan (a messenger) to reveal, with Allahs permission,
what Allah wills: for He is Most High, Most Wise Sura 42:51
A lot of Sunnis and Shites claim that the Prophet Muhammad received outside
revelation other than the Quran. They alleged that these additional sources, attempts
to prove that Prophet Muhammad received "revelations" other than the Qur'an, which
are said to be scattered in other books called ahadith. Proving that those hidden
revelations 'other books' were revelations too like the Qur'an. They also try to
convince people to follow those additional books and writings and compilations
alongside the Qur'an.

A verse used to prove that there were additional revelations to the

Prophet Muhammad is the following ayat:
Allah says:
"The Prophet told something in confidence to one of his wives
adthan and when
she informed about it - wa-aharahu (and made it apparent) Allah to him and he
confirmed part of it, keeping the rest to himself - so he confronted her with what she
had done. She asked, 'Who told you about this?' and he replied, 'The All-Knowing, the
All-Aware told me. Sura 66/3
The question to Sunnis and Shites is why do they believe this is wahyan (revelation)
that was supposed to be revealed to the masses of the people? Hence, the Prophets
wife disclosed confidential information, which the Prophet Muhammad had entrusted
her with, without the prophet's knowledge. However, the way by which the Prophet
Muhammad was informed of what she did can be in any worldly means, since
everything is from Allah. A particular companion may have informed the prophet however, in the good interest of concealing his or her identity, the prophet instead
used the expression "The All-Knowing, the All-Aware informed me".
This is to not strain the relationship between the companion and the wife in concern.
We must not forget that Prophet Muhammad put complete trust in Allah and adhered
to Quranic understanding of faith. Everything happens to us through the will of Allah.
Thus, it would be very natural for him to use the expression, "The All-Knowing, the
All-Aware informed me" instead of revealing the name of the companion. The
75 | P a g e

following verses of the Qur'an conveys to us that whatever happens to us at a worldly

level, happens because of Allah:
"It was not you who killed them but Allah. And it was not your throw when you
threw, rather Allah threw." Sura 8/17
"Say, 'nothing can happen to us except for what Allah has written for us. He is our
Master: let the believers put their trust in Allah" Sura 9/51
Among the Sunnis and Shites who love to defend their doctrine of Hadith would say
that Sura 66/3 represents outside wahyun (revelations) that would involve hearsay
stories. However, with the ayat alone, we can draw certain lessons such as how we,
ourselves may respond to situations around us - how we should consider the wellbeing of relationships between other people and not just people's relationship with us.
Even if the Prophet Muhammad had received other communications, they are not part
of the Quranic guidance for us and therefore, such communications do not form as
part of the Guide for Al Ins, An Nas and Jinn.
For example, Maryam received communication from Allah, but those communications
were not part of a Scripture of Allah - they were just communications of
'circumstantial' information such as her being informed of the coming of her baby, the
Prophet Isa. Likewise, if Prophet Muhammad received communication for some
purposes, the fact that it is not part of the Qur'an renders it to be not part of the Guide
for alamin. This is because only Books of Allah are to be followed by people as pointed
out throughout the Qur'an.

Allah tells us that the Prophet Muhammad conveyed the message to

alamin and if he would have not conveyed all what was obligatory for
him to convey he would not have completed his assignment:
Allah says:
O Messenger, announce that which has been revealed to you from your Lord, and if
you do not, then you have not conveyed His message. And Allah will protect you
from the people. Indeed, Allah does not guide the disbelieving people. Sura 5/67

Now a lot of Muslims love to say that the Prophet was given outside
revelations of the Quran by always using another ayat such as:
76 | P a g e

"It is not but wayun (a revelation) y (revealed)..." Sura 53/4

Now we know that it was only the Quran which is wahyun (revelation) that is being
mention here because everything the Prophet Muhammad spoke was not wahyun
(revelation). Allah chastises the Prophet Muhammad in the Quran.

The Prophet Muhammad made something unlawful

that was made lawful by Allah:
O you prophet, why do you make unlawful what Allah has made lawful for you,
seeking to please your wives? Allah is Forgiver, Merciful. Sura 66/1
Notice, Allah addresses Muhammad as O you Prophet and not O you Messenger
first. The Prophet status represents the human side of the Messenger. As a Prophet he
is bound to make mistakes, commit errors however, as the Messenger he speaks the
words of Allah and is never chastised as Messenger. We have the human side of the
Messenger, hence Prophet who name is Muhammad spoke outside of wahyun
(revelation). This was not included in the Quran when the Prophet Muhammad
committed the sin, made the mistake but Allah brings him to account for it.
No Sunni or Shite would say that this also represents wahyun (revelation). So by
Sunnis and Shites saying It is not but wayun (revelation) y (revealed)..." have to
say that it is only the Quran that is wahyun (revelation) and the human side of the
Prophet, Nataq-un-Nab (Speech of Nabi) is not wahyun (revelation). Nataq-un-Nabi
(Speech of Nabi) is outside of the Quran allegedly collected in the books called
ahadith.
Also what should be mentioned is how the Sunnis and Shites forget about another ayat
that uses the same word wahyun (revelation) that deals with the Prophet Muhammad.
Allah tells the Prophet Muhammad follow the Millata Ibrahim.
Allah says:
"Then awayn (We revealed) to ittabi (you follow) the millata religion ib'rhma,
inclining toward truth; and he was not of those who associate with Allah." Sura 16:123
Then awayn (We revealed) so the question is when did the Prophet Muhammad
get this NEW REVELATION. If Sunnis and Shites going to say he received an extra
revelation would be here. It says clearly awayn (We revealed) to ittabi (you
follow) yet this is overlooked. The Arabic word awayn is the same as

77 | P a g e

wayun.
Remember, the Sunnis and Shites believe the Prophet Muhammad received more than
just the Quran and they have Ahadith that says that the Prophet was given the Quran
and something like it, or its equal.
I was given the Quran and its equal with it (i.e., the Sunnah) (A Sahih
Hadith; Al-Hadithu Hujjatun bi-Nafsihi [21]). 29. [Albani, Muhammad Nasir ad-Deen.
Al-Hadithu Hujjatun bi-Nafsihi fi-l-Ahkami wa-l-Aqa-id (The Hadith is Proof Itself
in Matters of Law and Creed) (Pg. 26-27)] (Introduction to: Muhammad The Prophet
of Mercy Muhammads Role in Islam, by Jalal Abualrub, edited by Alaa Mencke
[Madinah Publishers and Distributors, First Edition: June 2007], p. 34)

Narrated Al-Miqdam ibn Madikarib:

The Prophet said:

Beware! I have been given the Quran and something like it, yet the
time is coming when a man replete on his couch will say: Keep to the Quran; what
you find in it to be permissible treat as permissible, and what you find in it to be
prohibited treat as prohibited. Beware! The domestic ass, beasts of prey with fangs, a
find belonging to confederate, unless its owner does not want it, are not permissible to
you If anyone comes to some people, they must entertain him, but if they do not, he
has a right to mulct them to an amount equivalent to his entertainment. (Sunan Abu
Dawud, Book 40, Number 4587)

Now what does Allah say about those who lie and say inspiration, the
same Arabic word awayn wayun is also being used ya
below:
Allah says:
And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about Allah or says, "ya (It has
been inspired) to me," while not ya (it was inspired) to him, and one who says, "saunzilu (I will reveal) mith'la (like) anzala (has been revealed) by Allah." And if you
could but see when the wrongdoers are in the overwhelming pangs of death while the
angels extend their hands, [saying], "Discharge your souls! Today you will be awarded
the punishment of [extreme] humiliation for what you used to say against Allah other
than the truth and [that] you were, toward His verses, being arrogant." Sura 6/93

78 | P a g e

So these disbelievers are those who invented a lie and say that they were inspired yet
Allah says they were not inspired and the other says they will reveal something like
what was revealed by Allah. This fits perfectly in the above ayat exposing Hadith.

Narrated Al-Miqdam ibn Madikarib:

The Prophet said:
Beware! I have been given the Quran and something like it,

The Almighty says about His Self:

There is nothing that equals Him. He is the Hearer, the Seer. Sura 42/11

And He says about His Book:

Say, If all the humans and all the jinns banded together in order to produce a Quran
like this, they could never produce anything like it Sura 17/88
Hence, there is no equal to the Quran except for what Allah says such as the Tawrah
which is also Allahs Book, just as there is no equal to Allah!

Allah is one in His Self and in His attributes, and there

is no one like Him from among His creations,
Proclaim, He is the One and only God. The Absolute God. Never did He beget. Nor
was He begotten. None equals Him. Sura 112/1-4

It isnt within the capability of any creation to create

one chapter like a Quranic Sura:
then produce one sura like these Sura 2/23
and
then produce one sura like these Sura 10/38
There is no equal to the Quran, and there is no chapter which is equal to any chapter of
the Quran. In spite of this, they claim that Allah revealed to the prophet the
Quran and its equal alongside it, so where is this equal thing if Allah
has denied its existence?

79 | P a g e

Allah time and time again tells the Prophet

Muhammad to follow that which is revealed to him:
And follow what y (is revealed) to you, and be patient until Allah will judge. And
He is the best of judges. Sura 10/109
And indeed, they were about to tempt you away from that which awayn (We
revealed) to you in order to [make] you invent about Us something else; and then they
would have taken you as a friend. Sura 17/73

Remember, when Sunnis and Shites want to use this ayat to defend their doctrine of
ahadith outside of the Quran when Allah says:
"It is not but wayun (revelation) y (revealed)..." Sura 53/4
The Arabic word wahyun (revelation) yuha (revealed) are the same exact words used
from the above references for the Prophet Muhammad and other Prophets and people
as well.

What you didnt know that Allah mentioned

throughout His Book, the Quran the Arabic word
Hadith?
The convention is that Allah, brings down to every Prophet a whole, complete, and
detailed book. However, it isnt long before the Shaytanu compels men to corrupt the
din/system of Allah with manipulation and with forgery.
Then, the Shaytanu compels them to create other sources which are considered divine;
naturally, these people are to be considered enemies of the prophets. Allah says,
We have permitted the enemies of every prophet - shayn (devils) from among ins
and jini y (inspiring) bauhum (some of them) to others zukh'rufa (decorative)
qawli (speech) ghurran (in deception). Had your Lord willed, they would not have
done it. You shall disregard them and their fabrications. This is to let the minds of those
who do not believe in the Hereafter listen to such fabrications, and accept them, and
thus expose their real convictions. Shall I seek other than Allah as a source of law, when
He has revealed to you this book fully detailed?" Sura 6/112-114
Thus did the hypocrites begin to scheme against Islam in this way. It was these
hypocrites used to enter upon the prophet presenting to him their obedience and
allegiance, then once they left, they would scheme against him; Allah confirms this:
Allah says,
They atun (pledge obedience), but as soon as they leave you, bayyata (harbor
intentions) ifatun (a group) min'hum (of them) ghayra (other than) alladh (that

82 | P a g e

which) taqlu (you say). Allah records their innermost intentions. You shall disregard
them, and put your trust in Allah " Sura 4/81
Think about this carefully, Allahs saying:
bayyata (harbor intentions) ifatun (a group) min'hum (of them) ghayra (other
than) alladh (that which) taqlu (you say).
What does this truly mean? It means that the hypocrites used to forge sayings about the
prophet which he didnt say, or, as the hadith philologists put it, they used to present
fabricated hadith which they attributed to the prophet; that is to say, the hypocrites
began telling lies about the prophet during his life.
Now how can we believe in Hadith when Allah NEVER promise to protect anything
from what the Prophet Muhammad was revealed which was nothing other than Al
Qur'an.
They atun (pledge obedience), but as soon as they leave you
Allah is saying that these hypocrites were known to the prophet. The reality is that the
hypocrites were of two types in the prophets time:
The first type were known to the Prophet Muhammad and he was instructed by Allah
not to be intrigued by their wealth and children, nor should he pray for any one of them
that passes away, nor should he maintain his grave Sura 9/84-85; for amongst these
were those who forged hadith about the prophet.
"Do not hold prayers for any of them if they die, and do not stand by their graves: they
disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger and died rebellious. Do not let their
possessions and their children impress you: Allah means to punish them through these
in this world, and that their souls should depart while they disbelieve." Sura 9/84-85
The second type was more belligerent, and more dangerous. Allah has promised this
type of hypocrite that He will punish him twice; once in this world and once in the
hereafter, and he will suffer awesome punishment.

This very dangerous type was unknown to the Prophet Muhammad.

Thus Allah says:
Among the Arabs around you, there are hypocrites. Also, among the city dwellers,
there are those who are accustomed to hypocrisy. You do not know them, but we
83 | P a g e

know them. We will double the retribution for them, then they end up committed to a
terrible retribution." Sura 9/101

Regarding the known hypocrites, the Allah says:

They swear by Allah that they never said it, although they have uttered the word of
disbelief; they have disbelieved after becoming submitters
Allah decrees a single punishment for them if they dont repent, If they repent, it
would be best for them. But if they turn away, Allah will commit them to painful
retribution in this life and in the Hereafter" Sura 9/74
Its impossible for us to name these individuals especially seeing that Allah didnt even
tell the prophet who they were, we can still discover their Hadith/Narrations which
manifest their hatred for the Prophet Muhammad.
Thus these Hadith were handed down through the generations until they eventually
found their way to being composed in what have now become known as the Sahih
books.
And those who collated the hadith, and sifted through and established their so called
chains of narration, all agreed upon the fact that the friends of the Prophet Muhammad
were all the same.

"They want to yu'fi (extinguish) nra (the light) of Allah bi-afwhihim

(with their mouths) in other words with (Hadith)
Allah says,
"Indeed, the dna (deen) inda (near) Allah is'lmu (is Islam). And those who were
given the Scripture did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of
jealous animosity between themselves. And whoever disbelieves in the verses of Allah ,
then indeed, Allah is swift in [taking] account." Sura 3/19
Allah says, "...This day akmaltu (I have perfected) for you your dnakum (manner of
conduct) awa-atmamtu (and I have completed) ni'mat (My favor) upon you and have
approved for you Islam as dnan (deen)..." Sura 5/6
"And whoever desires other than Islam as dnan (manner of conduct) - never will it be
accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers." Sura 3/85

84 | P a g e

"So whoever yahdiyahu (Allah wants to guide) - yashra (He expands) adrahu (his
breast) to Islam; and whoever He wants to misguide - He makes his breast ayyiqan
(tight) arajan (and constricted) as though he were climbing into the sky. Thus does
Allah place defilement upon those who do not believe. And this iru (is the path) of
your Lord, leading mus'taqman (straight). We have detailed the verses for a people
who remember." Sura 6/125-126
"This day akmaltu (I have perfected) for you your dinakum (manner of conduct) waatmamtu (and I have completed) ni'mat (My favor) upon you waratu (and I have
approved) for you Islam as dnan (way)." Sura 5/3
Let's examine: Allah says, "...This day akmaltu (I have perfected) for you"
The Arabic word akmaltu means to complete, in total, in all, perfect achieved.
" your dnakum (manner of conduct)"
dnakum means obedience, submissiveness, servility, system, custom, habit, business, a
way, course, manner of conduct.
So Allah says literally that in totall and in all He has perfected our dinikum (deen)
which means system, manner of conduct.
"awa-atmamtu (and I have completed)"
wa-atmamtu means to be entire, full, whole, blossom, full-grown, complete, perfect,
fulfilled, accomplish. Strong, firm, hard.
" ni'mat (My favor) upon you"
ni'mat means to lead an easy life, enjoy the comforts and conveniences of life, be
joyful, comforts, delights.
in'aam - beneficence, favour to a person, gifted (with speech/talent/reason etc).
"and have approved for you is'lma (Islam)"
is'lma means safety, security, freedom, immunity, to escape, salutation, greeting,
peace, deliver, acknowledge, pay in advance, submit, sincerity, humility, submission,
conformance, obedience, resign, quit, relinquish, to be in sound condition, well without
blemish, gentle, tender, soft, elegant.
"as dnan (way)..."
85 | P a g e

means obedience, submissiveness, servility, system, custom, habit, business, a way,

course, manner of conduct.
Yet, the disbelievers want to extinguish the light of Allah.
"They want to yu'fi (extinguish) nra (the light) of Allah bi-afwhihim (with their
mouths), but Allah refuses except yutimma (to perfect) His light, although the
disbelievers dislike it." Sura 9/32
bi-afwhihim comes from the Arabic root f ww h ( ) which means to pronounce
a latter or word, a discourse. famun/fumun (pl. afwah) - mouth.

What is the light of Allah?

"Indeed there has come to you from Allah nrun (a Light) wakitbun (and a Book)
mubnun (Clear). With it Allah guides whoever follows His good pleasure to the ways
of peace and brings them out from the darkness into the light by His permission: He
guides them onto a straight path." Sura 5/15-16
"Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered prophet, whom they find written in
what they have of the Torah and the Gospel, who enjoins upon them what is right and
forbids them what is wrong and makes lawful for them the good things and prohibits
for them the evil and relieves them of their burden and the shackles which were upon
them. So they (who have believed in him, honored him, supported him and followed
nra (the light) which unzila (was sent down) with him - it is those who will be the
successful." Sura 7/157

Again, reflect, Allah says,

"and followed nra (the light) which unzila (was sent down) with him - it is those
who will be the successful."

What was sent down to the Prophet Muhammad?

Allah says,
"Say, "What thing is greatest in testimony?" Say, " Allah is witness between me and you.
And qur'nu (this Qur'an) waiya (was revealed) to me that I may warn you thereby
and whomever it reaches. Do you [truly] testify that with Allah there are other deities?"

86 | P a g e

Say, "I will not testify [with you]." Say, "Indeed, He is but one Allah, and indeed, I am
ree of what you associate [with Him]." Sura 6/19
"We relate to you, the best of stories in what awayn (We have revealed) to you of
qur'na (this Qur'an) although you were, before it, among the unaware." Sura 12/3
"anzaln (We have sent down) to you kitban (a Book) in which is your mention. Then
will you not reason?" Sura 21/10
Allah says it clearly that the light that the disbelievers want to extinguish is the Qur'an
that was sent down to the Prophet Muhammad bi-afwhihim with their mouths "a
discourse" so now what is a discourse?
Allah says,
"These are the signs of Allah We recount to thee with The Truth. Then, in which
adthin (Hadith), after Allah and His ayats, will they believe?" Sura 45/6
"Then in what adthin (hadith) after the Qur'an will they believe?" Sura 77/50
"Do they not look into the realm of the heavens and the earth and everything that Allah
has created and think that perhaps their appointed time has come near? So in what
adthin (statement) hereafter will they believe?" Sura 7/185
Remember what Hadith means one of the meaning of Hadith means 'a discourse'
adthin comes from the Arabic word h dl th ( ) something new/recent, it (a
thing) came into existence, began to be, originated, had a beginning, existed newly for
the first time, to relate discourse, story/report/narration/statement/tale/speech.
Lane: "hadathu - a novelty or new thing, an innovation, a thing not known before, and
particularly relating to El-Islam (i.e. to matters of religious doctrines or practices or the
like)"
So when Allah says:
"They want to yu'fi (extinguish) nra (the light) of Allah bi-afwhihim (with their
mouths), but Allah refuses except yutimma (to perfect) His light, although the
disbelievers dislike it." 9/32
"bi-afwhihim (with their mouths)"

87 | P a g e

bi-afwhihim comes from the Arabic root f ww h ( ) which means to pronounce

a latter or word, a discourse.
famun/fumun (pl. afwah) - mouth.
Allah is saying in which adthin (hadith) will you believe after the Qur'an. In other
words in which 'discourse' 'statements' 'speech' 'narrations' 'sayings' will you believe
after the Qur'an.
Allah knew that the disbelievers would try to extinguish Allah's light in which they
have failed and will continue to fail miserably. Allah then puts fourth the ultimate
challenge by telling them to produce a Hadith like the Qur'an.
Moreover, they didnt look into the body of the text of hadith to see whether it conforms
with the Qur'an or not. And if we wanted to consider the Qur'an as the only source of
the Prophets sunna, and the system and law of Allah, then we must put the oral
narrations of hadith in their rightful place, and that is:

A record of human history of the Prophet Muhammad and the Muslims,

and a record of their culture and ideology; whether this so happens to
agree with the Qur'an or not. Or rather some of the Hadith are false or
not it is what it is, hearsay, guesswork, conjecture.
Thus, it is most upsetting that among these Hadith/Narrations there should be found
slander about Prophet Muhammad which only serves to vilify his biography, for he had
spread the word of faith, and established both a nation and a state, and who also had a
tremendous effect on the history of the world.
Think about it, no matter how low a person becomes, he will still refuse that the secrets
of his household should be exposed to people, or even that the sexual relationship of his
father with his mother is made public.
Yet, from what I overstand it is a part of Arab culture that they shy away from revealing
the names of the women in their families, but at the same time, the followers of Hadith
dont see anything wrong in believing in the hadith of Sahih Bukhari and company
which slander the prophets household and his women, and vilify his honour and his
wives. And which describe them as being naked without clothes before our minds
yet some of us believe in Hadith attributing them to the Prophet Muhammad.
Allah in the Quran has clearly, precisely and strategically used the Arabic word
hadith right in the Quran and most Muslims are unaware of this. The so-called
88 | P a g e

scholars among the Sunni & Shiite sect have concealed this by mistranslating theArabic
word hadith.
They all have used countless English words/different English words to use as a
translation for hadith to distort the true context of the Quran in order to conceal the
fact that Allah has condemned HADITH by name. This is what Hadith looks like in the
Quran in the Arabic:

This Arabic word here is Hadith and its pronounced as Hadith, which is obvious when
looking at each Arabic letter. This is important to know in order for anybody to see that
Allah did in fact mention the Arabic word hadith by NAME right in the Quran if
Muslims who follow Hadith outside of the Quran can see this for themselves, then and
only then would they will be able see through the MATRIX of Hadith and see the game
of deception that has been played upon all of us by these so-called sheiks, religious
leaders, Imams, Ulama, etc. through their wicked game of TRANSLATION.
The Arabic in the Quran is right and exact but the Shayatin (Devils) among Al Jinn and
Al Ins have been deceiving the masses of sincere Muslims by mistranslating the Quran
in order to support their sectarian school of thought Sunnis and Shites and the
subgroups that came from them in which Prophet Muhammad knew nothing about nor
was a part of because this division and distortion came about or into existence after the
death of Prophet Muhammad.
The Hadith compiled by Bukhari, Tirmidhi, Muslim, just to name a few are said to be
also divine scriptures revealed by Allah for us to believe in or follow in Islam yet this is
not proven throughout the entire Quran. These Sunnis and Shites cant find or locate
not one single ayat in the Quran to prove this and they purposely evaded dealing with
the ayats in the Quran that do mention hadith.

89 | P a g e

"Allah has revealed

ahsana (the best)
Hadith (speech) , a book conformable
in its various parts, repeating, whereat do shudder the skins of those who fear their
Sustainer, then their skins and their hearts become pliant to the remembrance of Allah;
this is Allah's guidance, He guides with it whom He pleases; and (as for) him whom
Allah leaves to err, there is no guide for him." Sura 39/23
In Sura 39/23 Allah used the Arabic word Hadith for the Quran. Allah says that He
has revealed herein The Best Hadith. Allah makes it very clear as to which hadith to
follow and its only the Quran and nothing else.

Allah tells us in Sura 12/111 that the Quran is is not a fabricated Hadith. As we
can see in Sura 39/23; 12/111) the Arabic word hadith is used for the Quran by Allah
and not those fabricated tales or hadith compiled by the Persian Bukhari and company
which came after the Quran. Allah tells us that the Quran is the Best Hadith and that
the Quran is not a fabricated Hadith, so Allah made it very clear as to which hadith we
are supposed to follow and that is only the Quran and not those fabricated books
compiled by the Persian Bukhari and company came after the Quran.

90 | P a g e

Allah is clearly telling us what hadith you are going to believe in After the revelation of
the Quran.:

Main Books of Narration (Hadith):

Shia
1) al-Kulaini (d. 328 or 329),
2) Ibn Babuwayh (d. 381),
3) Jaafar Muhammad al-Tusi (d. 411) and
4) al-Murtada (d. 436)

Sunni...
1) Bukhari (d. 256/870),
2) Muslim (d. 261/875),
3) Abu Daud (d. 275/888),
4) Tirmidhi (d. 279/892),
5) Ibn Maja (d. 273/886), and
6) al-Nasa'i (d. 303/915)
Prophet Muhammad is just one man and these sects between the Sunnis and Shites
have created division in Islam by fabricating their own set of hadith after the death of
Muhammad. These hadith books came after the revelation of the Quran and not before
so they are condemned by Allah right in the Quran. Any hadith that came after the
revelation of the Quran are condemned by Allah and since this is a fact Muslims are
not supposed to follow nor believe in them despite what your so-called sheiks, religious
leaders, Imams, Ulama tell us, they are not Allah and they are not Divine and neither
are they Messengers sent from Allah. So they can be question and should be questioned.

91 | P a g e

Allah says:

Or for them shuraku (are partners) shara (who have ordained) for them of the
deen what not Allah has not given permission of it . And if not for a word decisive,
surely it would have judged between them. And indeed the wrongdoers for them is a
punishment painful. Sura 42/21

Is there any who guides to the truth we have to ask can Hadith and
Sunnah books that came over 200 years later after the death of the
Prophet Muhammad guide to the truth:
Allah says:

92 | P a g e

Say, Are there of shurakikum (your partners) any who yahd (guides) to aqi (the
truth)? Say, Allah yahd (guides) lilaqqi (to the truth). So is He (Allah) who yahd
(guides) to aqi (the truth) more worthy that yuttabaa (he should be followed) or he
(Prophet Muhammad) who guides not ill (unless) yuhd (he is guided)? Then what
is [wrong] with you how do takumna (you judge)? Sura 10/35

They invoke others than Allah:

"Lo! is it not unto Allah that belongeth whosoever is in the heavens and whosoever is in
the earth? And not yattabiu (follow) those who invoke other than Allah, shuraka
(partners) not yattabina (they follow) but ana (the assumption/conjecture), and
they do but yakhruna (guess)." Sura 10/66

Do not follow allies:

This scripture has been revealed to you - you shall not harbor doubt about it in your
heart - that you may warn with it, and to provide a reminder for the believers. Follow
what is revealed to you from your Lord; do not follow awliya (any allies) besides
Him. Rarely do you take heed." Sura 7/2-3
To break it down further, the Arabic word Hadith means new. It is used as opposed to
qadim which means old. From this followed this the use of the term for a piece of
news, a tale, a story, or a report be it historical or legendary, true or false, relating to
the present or to the past immediate or remote. In this sense the word has been used
by the pre-Islamic poets, and in the Quran and in the so called Traditions of the
Prophet. The story tellers also were called Huddath.
Since the coming of Ahlul Hadith, People of Hadith they have called the reports with
regard to Prophet Muhammads sayings and doings the Best Hadith, and by and by its
use was confined to the reports of the Prophets words and deeds only. Now the word
"Hadith" in general means "Saying" it`s a noun and the verb from it is "Tahadath" so if
I said something to Keven, Keven will say "Khidr Amri Yisrael Tahadath" or "Khidr
Amari Yisrael said", vice versa if Keven said something I will say in Arabic "Keven
Tahadath", so the word "Hadith" can mean the saying of anybody.
Hence, the modern grammatical form of "Tahadath" is not in the Quraan, let me repeat,
the modern grammatical form of "Tahadath" is not in the Quraan. It is very clear that
the Arabic word "Hadith" is in the Quran and the context Allah has used it. Allah did
not leave any gaps to guess when it came down to whether or not we are to believe in
hadith.
93 | P a g e

Some say "Hadith" can mean the saying of anybody. Again, literally hadith means
tale, gossip, words of man, tradition and can also add sayings in the definition
and thats fine because still it does not bring any validation to believe and follow the
Persian Imam books of Hadith by Sahih Bukhari and company.

Allah makes it very clear what Hadith AFTER the

Qur'an will you believe:
"In which

Hadith, then, after it, will they believe?" Sura 77/50

"Do they not consider the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and whatever things
Allah has created, and that may be their doom shall have drawn nigh; In which
Hadith would they then believe in after this?" Sura 7/185
"These are the Ayat of Allah which We recite to you with truth; then in which
Hadith would they believe after Allah and His Ayat? Woe to every sinful liar, Who
hears the Ayat of Allah recited to him, then persists proudly as though he had not heard
them; so announce to him a painful punishment. And when he comes to know of any of
Our Ayat, he takes it for a jest; these it is that shall have abasing chastisement." Sura
45/6-9

Who is more truthful in giving Hadith other than Allah:

"And who is more true in giving

Hadith than Allah?" Sura 4/87

There are among those who purchase vain Hadith that leads people
astray:
"And of men is he who purchases
Lahwal Hadith (vain narrations) to lead
astray from Allah's path without knowledge, and to take it for a mockery; these shall
have an abasing chastisement. And when Our Ayat (verses) are recited to him, he turns
back proudly, as if he had not heard them, as though in his ears were a heaviness,
therefore announce to him a painful chastisement." Sura 31/6-7

Allah told the believers not to sit around the Prophet Muhammad
waiting for Hadith:
O you who believe! do not enter the houses of the Prophet unless permission is given
to you for a meal, not waiting for its cooking being finished-- but when you are invited,
enter, and when you have taken the food, then disperse-- not seeking
liadthin
94 | P a g e

(lengthy conversations); surely this gives the Prophet trouble, but he forbears from
you, and Allah does not forbear from the truth. And when you ask of them any goods,
ask of them from behind a curtain; this is purer for your hearts and (for) their hearts;
and it does not behove you that you should give trouble to the Messenger of Allah, nor
that you should marry his wives after him ever; surely this is grievous in the sight of
Allah. Sura 33/53

In Surah At-Tur, the unbelievers are challenged:

"Or do they say: He has forged it. Nay! they do not believe. Then let them bring a
Hadith similar to it if they are truthful." Sura 52/33-34
As for the enemy of Allah and His messenger who has allied himself with Bukhari try
to meet Allah's CHALLENGE of producing an Hadith like the Qur'an they and the
Sahih writers/compilers and those who follow them will rush to the aid of Sahih
Bukhari for he believes that Bukhari cannot make a mistake, and he believes that
Bukhari is above the level of the prophets even they made mistakes and the revelation
came down rebuking them at times and pointing out to them their blunders.
Due to the fact that this enemy of Allah rushes to Bukharis defense, and that they
cannot raise their voice in defense of the Prophet Muhammad, their only recourse is to
attack the believers who believes solely on Allah's, the Best Hadith, the Qur'an.
Yet they send curses and accusations on the believers of Qur'an alone to distract people
from the issue at hand, thus providing them with an escape for themselves and their
god, Bukhari and company. But can they escape from the punishment of the Hereafter?
If we wanted to know the extent of the damage which they inflict on the Prophet
Muhammad while being silent to Bukhari and his ilk, we must read how Allah
defended the reputation of the prophet in the Qur'an.
Some childish people used to think that they could enter the Prophet Muhammads
house without asking him permission, but the prophet felt awkward asking them to
leave because he was too shy, so Allah said..
"O you who believe, do not enter the prophets homes unless you are given permission
to eat, nor shall you force such an invitation in any manner. If you are invited, you may
enter. When you finish eating, you shall leave; do not engage him in
liadthin
(lengthy conversations). This used to hurt the prophet, and he was too shy to tell you.
But Allah does not shy away from the truth. If you have to ask his wives for something,
95 | P a g e

ask them from behind a barrier. This is purer for your hearts and their hearts. You are
not to hurt the messenger of Allah. You shall not marry his wives after him, for this
would be a gross offense in the sight of Allah". Sura 33/53
Those in whose hearts is a disease, not only break into the Prophet Muhammads house
without permission, but they also break into his bedroom with their pens and
poisonous Hadith/Narrations.
In doing so, they are going against the instructions of Allah and they are harming,
opposing, and persecuting the Prophet Muhammad by divulging the so called secrets
that he shared with his wives.
They recorded these Hadith/Narrations as suited them best in order to desecrate such
an honourable personality.
The believer supports the Prophet Muhammad, and maintains a good relationship with
him by holding on to what the Prophet Muhammad held onto, the Qur'an alone and
also defending the Prophet Muhammad from those false rumours/lies/assumptions
which have crept into the deen.

Some of us, without knowing, repeat the common phrase:

O Lord, support the prophet But at the same time there are others who hold on to the
belief of those hadith which desecrate the Prophet Muhammad's life story.
We know the Hadith were not revealed to the Prophet Muhammad it was the Qur'an
yet there are those who follow tradition and Allah makes it very clear when told to
them to follow what was revealed they will follow what their fathers followed:
"They are but names which ye have named, ye and your fathers, for which not anzala
lahu (has Allah sent down) bih (for it) min (any) sul'nin (authority). in (not)
yattabina (they follow) illa (except) ana (the assumption/guess) and that which
themselves desire. walaqad (And certainly) jahum (has come to them) from
rabbihimu (their Lord) hud (the guidance) or is for man what he wishes? But for
Allah is the last and the first." Sura 53/23-25
"And they have thereof no knowledge. yattabina (They follow) not except ana
(assumption), and indeed, ana (the assumption) avails not against aqi (the truth) at
all. So turn away from him who turns away from dhik'rin (Our Reminder) and hot he
desires except ayata (the life) dun'y (of this world)." Sura 53/28

96 | P a g e

Those hypocrites/enemies of Allah and His Messenger Allah tells us

they will be punished, they only assume about Allah of an evil nature:
"And [that] He may punish the hypocrite men and hypocrite women, and the polytheist
men and polytheist women - those nna (who assume) about Allah anna (an
assumption) of evil nature. Upon them is a misfortune of evil nature; and Allah has
become angry with them and has cursed them and prepared for them Hell, and evil it is
as a destination." Sura 48/6
"Lo! is it not unto Allah that belongeth whosoever is in the heavens and whosoever is in
the earth? And not yattabiu (follow) those who invoke other than Allah, shuraka
(partners) not yattabina (they follow) but ana (the assumption/conjecture), and
they do but yakhruna (guess)." Sura 10/66
These followers of Hadith has made Hadith shuraka (partners) with Allah because
they follow zana (the assumption/conjecture) which is only but guesswork:
"Lo! is it not unto Allah that belongeth whosoever is in the heavens and whosoever is in
the earth? And not yattabiu (follow) those who invoke other than Allah, shuraka
(partners) not yattabina (they follow) but ana (the assumption/conjecture), and
they do but yakhruna (guess)." 10/66

The Majority of Muslims follow Hadith/Sunnah books and pays lip

service to Qur'an. Allah warns us not to follow majority:
"And if you obey akthara (most) of those upon the earth, yuillka (they will mislead
you) from sabli lahi (the way of Allah). Not yattabina (they follow) not except ana
(the assumption), and not they do except yakhruna (guess)." Sura 6/116
"Those who associated with Allah will say, "If Allah had willed, we would not have
associated anything and neither would our fathers, nor would we have prohibited
anything." Likewise did those before deny until they tasted Our punishment. qul (Say),
"hal (is) indakum (with you) min (of) il'min (any knowledge) fatukh'rijhu (then
produce it) lan (for us)? in (Not) tattabina (you follow) illa (except) ana (the
assumption), and not you do but takhruna (guess).qul (Say) falillahi (with Allah)
ujatu (is the argument) blighatu (the conclusive). And if He willed surely He would
have guided you all." Sura 6/148-49

Other narrations, Bukhari adds some sexual insinuations to the story:

97 | P a g e

The messenger of Allah was once bewitched to the extent that he used to think that he
approached women when in fact he did not.
Sufyan added This is the worst type of sorcery if that is what he used to do. The
prophet said O Aisha, I felt as if God has given me the answer to the question I asked
him. Two men approached me, one of them sat next to my head, the other next to my
feet, this hadith continues till Aisha asks Did you not seek to cure your ailment?
He replied God has already cured me. I didnt want to disturb the people with evil.
The clear sexual insinuations in this hadith are the words he used to think that he
approached women when in fact he did not, and this is the worst type of sorcery,
also, when Aisha said Did you not seek to cure your ailment?
Sahih al-Bukhari; volume 7/pages 176, 178; volume 8/page 103.
Are you angry yet? I mean honestly to claim that the Prophet Muhammad was
bewitched or that he underwent sorcery, is a blasphemy against the deen, as well as
doubting the message.
Even before Bukharis second source came along, the polytheists of Mecca had claimed
that the prophet was insane:
And they said, How come this messenger eats the food and walks in the markets? If
only an angel could come down with him, to serve with him as a preacher! Or, If only
a treasure could be given to him! Or, If only he could possess an orchard from which
he eats! The transgressors also said, You are following a bewitched man.

The Qur'an on the polytheists:

We are fully aware of what they hear, when they listen to you, and when they conspire
secretly - the disbelievers say, You are following a crazy man. Sura 17/47
Allah also commentates on these claims and says the same thing as in Surah 25/9
"See what they think you are like! They have gone astray and cannot find the right
way."
Note how they describe you, and how this causes them to stray off the path." Sura
17/48

Here we have the polytheists accusations of the prophets alleged

insanity recurs:
98 | P a g e

Note how they describe you, and how this causes them to stray off the path.
This was a repeated as a reply to the accusations of sorcery against the Prophet
Muhammad even after his death, including those accusations made by the so-called
secondary source thus called Hadith
Did not Allah promise to protect the Prophet Muhammad, his Messenger so that he
could deliver the message just as he received it, the Allah says
O you messenger, deliver what is revealed to you from your Lord - until you do, you
have not delivered His message and Allah will protect you from the people" Sura
5/67
Thus, how is it possible that Allah serves as a protector to the prophet whilst that
alleged Jew practiced sorcery on him?

It is stated in Sahih Al-Bukhari:

It has been narrated to me by Ishaq bin Ibraheem, as Ruh bin Ubadah told us, from
Auf who was informed by Al Hasan, Muhammad and Khilas, that he narrated from
Abu Hurraira who said that, Allahs Apostle said, (The Prophet) Moses was a shy
person and used to cover his body completely because of his extensive shyness. One of
the children of Israel hurt him by saying, He covers his body in this way only because
of some defect in his skin, either leprosy or scrotal hernia, or he has some other defect.
Allah wished to clear Moses of what they said about him, so one day while Moses was
in seclusion, he took off his clothes and put them on a stone and started taking a bath.
When he had finished the bath, he moved towards his clothes so as to take them, but
the stone took his clothes and fled; Moses picked up his stick and ran after the stone
saying, O stone! Give me my garment! Till he reached a group of Bani Israel who saw
him naked then, and found him the best of what Allah had created, and Allah cleared
him of what they had accused him of. The stone stopped there and Moses took and put
his garment on and started hitting the stone with his stick. By Allah, the stone still has
some traces of the hitting, three, four or five marks. This was what Allah refers to in His
Saying: O you who believe! Be you not like those Who annoyed Moses, But Allah
proved his innocence of that which they alleged, And he was honorable In Allahs
Sight.33/69- (Sahih Bukhari Volume 4 Hadith 616)
Any one reading this Hadith above are urged to carefully examine the above context in
which a mighty messenger of Allah is humiliated in front of his people, and and then

99 | P a g e

carefully study the Quranic repetitions pertaining to the subject and see does Hadith
truly explain the Qur'an.
The guile of the people who forged this tradition should also be observed, as to how
they absolved themselves from this fictitious tale, by cleverly attributing it to the
person of the messenger of Allah thus taking advantage of the immense love and
respect that the Muslims have for the Prophet Muhammad.
While the Quran has informed us that the messenger imparted knowledge of Allahs
Book by giving its explanation as occurred within the passages of the Book itself, can
we consider the story given in the above traditio/ Hadith to truly come from the
Prophet Muhammad?
Also consider the Chapter of Menstruation in Sahih al-Bukhari, one is taken aback
upon reading strange narrations under an even stranger title, The Chapter of Sleeping
with a Menstruating Woman.
One of which is a hadith attributed to Aisha: The prophet and I were washing in the
same tub next to each other, then he would instruct me to put on the izaar, then he
would have intercourse with me. [In another instance] he would take his head out while
he was secluded in the mosque, then I would wash his head while I was menstruating.
Another narration of Aishas says If any one of us was menstruating and the prophet
wanted to sleep with her, he would order her to put on the izaar whilst she was
menstruating, then he would sleep with her. She (reportedly) adds Which of you can
control his sexual drive like the prophet controlled his sexual drive? Furthermore, the
hadith of Maymunah states If the prophet of God wanted to sleep with one of his
women, he would instruct her to put on the izaar while she was menstruating.
With these narrations, Bukhari makes the Mothers of the Believers (i.e., the wives of the
prophet) witnesses to the fact that the Prophet Muhammad used to sleep with them
while they were menstruating.
Bukhari then falsely attributes to Aisha a knowledge of the prophets sexual power, for
he reports her to have said Which of you can control his sexual drive like the prophet
controlled his sexual drive?
In another narration, Bukhari makes out that the Prophet Muhammad used to stay in
womens company and never used to leave them even when they were menstruating.
Bukhari attributes to Um Salama the following hadith:

100 | P a g e

Whilst I was lying down with the prophet in the woods, I began to menstruate, so I got
changed and I took the clothes of my menstruation. He then said Are you
menstruating? I said Yes. He then called me so I lied next to him in the woods.
It is as if the Prophet Muhammad had no responsibilities to be concerned about, or he
had nothing to do except lie in the woods with his wives even while they were
menstruating. We seek refuge in Allah from this fabrication!
Bukhari claims that Aisha said The prophet used to lie on my lap while I was
menstruating and he would read the Quran.
In another more detailed narration from Anas, he says The prophet used to visit his
women in one hour of the day and the night, and there were eleven of them. The
narrator said I said to Anas Did he have the energy?, [Anas] said We used to say
that he had the power of thirty [men]. ==> Sahih al-Bukhari; volume 7/page 4; and

101 | P a g e

The proponents of the secondary sources called Hadith acknowledge that they attribute
hadith to the Prophet Muhammad even though the prophet himself prohibited the
writing down of such hadith.
They also acknowledge that the Golden Age of Islam took place before the collation of
those hadith which were collated much later, at a time of much political turmoil,
religious division, and intellectual confusion.
Hadith are given levels of soundness by their proponents. Some are deemed
mutawaatir, which means that they are extremely sound regardless the number of these
hadith are counted as less than ten, and thats being optimistic.
Then theres the classification of aahaad, this is the biggest section of hadith. This class
is further sub-divided into groups, from the level of complete reliability to forgery. This
classification is laughable, for when one attributes a saying to someone, there are only
two possibilities:
1) Either the person in question said it, or
2) The person did not say it.
So if he did say it, then it can be attributed to him 100%. And if he didnt say it, then it is
a fabrication, and therefore it is a lie 100%.

There is no in-between.
For example, the following famous hadith: O Fatima, work! For I cannot avail you
anything against Allah.. Either the prophet actually said this, in which case its the
prophets saying 100%.
Or, the prophet didnt say it, in which case, its a lie 100%; there is no gray area. But
how can we ever verify this, seeing that it was orally transmitted for over two hundred
years before it was written down? Especially seeing that the transcriber did not live in
the time of the Prophet Muhammad, nor did he live in the time of the generation who
came after the Prophet Muhammad.
They make tales of the ancients books called Hadith to be the sources that supports the
Qur'an yet this is laughable. Here is conjuecture classification which groups hadith
according to veracity; thus, a hadith could be:

102 | P a g e

1) 70% true, or
2) 50% true, or
3) 13% true
This present the latter case, it would be deemed daeef/weak.
Such a classification will cause a sad person to laugh! Either the prophet said
something, in which case it will be 100% true, or he didnt say it, in which case it would
be 100% false!
However, what the Prophet Muhammad really did say which is the biggest miracle
is the word of Allah, the Qur'an. This is the real hadith which we should believe in
alone, and with which we should live our lives alone.
"Allah has revealed
ahsana (the best)
Hadith (speech) , a book conformable
in its various parts, repeating, whereat do shudder the skins of those who fear their
Sustainer, then their skins and their hearts become pliant to the remembrance of Allah;
this is Allah's guidance, He guides with it whom He pleases; and (as for) him whom
Allah leaves to err, there is no guide for him." Sura 39/23
The One who brought down the book will take us to account on the Day of Judgment
according to what we find therein. As for those people who authored the secondary
sources called Hadith, they are humans like us who will stand with us before Allah on
the Day of Resurrection.
With the fear of that Day in mind, as a brother and friend to all of you who follow
Hadith and as a reminder to us who solely follow Qur'an alone we have to seriously
think about what we have debated in our groups, all the while, imploring Allah with
sincerity to guide usto the straight path, leaving behind all previous whims and fancies.
"But nay! I bring as evidence the location of stars; And most surely it is a very great oath
if you only knew; Most surely it is an honored Quran, In a book that is protected. None
shall have access to it (its meaning) save those who have purified themselves from
wrong concepts and ideologies. A revelation by the Sustainer of the worlds. Do you
then hold this
Hadith in contempt? And to give (it) the lie you make your means
of subsistence." Sura 56/75-82
"So leave Me and him who rejects this
Hadith; We will overtake them by
degrees, from whence they perceive not." Sura 68/44

103 | P a g e

"Do they not consider the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and whatever things
Allah has created, and that may be their doom shall have drawn nigh; In which
Hadith would they then believe in after this?" Sura 7/185

Why did Allah use Hadith in the Qur'an instead of other Arabic words
that mean the same thing as Hadith.

There are several Arabic words that means:

1) Aqwal means sayings
2) Akhbar means narrations
3) Hikam means Aphorisms
4) Nataq means Speech

In the Qur'an amazingly Allah specifically used this Arabic

word
hadith to condemn hadith by the very same name the enemies
of Islam used to call the books written & compiled by the Sunnis;

The Sunni compilers such as:

1) Bukhari (d. 256/870),
2) Muslim (d. 261/875),
3) Abu Daud (d. 275/888),
4) Tirmidhi (d. 279/892),
5) Ibn Maja (d. 273/886), and
6) al-Nasa'i (d. 303/915)

And the Shites compilers such as:

1) al-Kulaini (d. 328 or 329),
2) Ibn Babuwayh (d. 381),
3) Jaafar Muhammad al-Tusi (d. 411) and
4) al-Murtada (d. 436)
104 | P a g e

Most of these
hadith compilers came around 250 years or more after the death of
Prophet Muhammad. Allah knew this would happen, Allah is The All Seeing, The All
Knowing, and so Allah has condemned these
hadith by name before the enemy of
Islam fabricating them. This is fulfillment of prophecy right in the Holy Quran,
According to Allah the people who have written their own
hadith will have much
to answer. When they write their own unauthorized
hadith they will be punished
from directions which they will never perceive.

In which Hadith would they believe after this (Quran) this is the
question now does the Quran instruct us to refer to Nataq-un-Nabi
(Speech of Nabi)/Hadith for the explanation of the Quran?
Allah says:
"l tuarrik bihi (Not move with it) lisnaka (your tongue) litajala (to hasten) bihi
(with it) inna (Indeed) alayn (Upon Us) jamahu (is its collection) waqur'nahu (and
its recitation.) fa-idh (And when) qaranhu (We have recited it) fa-ittabi (then
follow) qur'nahu (its recitation) thumma (Then) inna (Indeed) alayn (Upon Us)
baynahu (is its explanation)." Sura 75/16-19
This is explained throughout the Quran that it is Allah who provides the Tafsir of His
Book by which is called the Tasreef ul Ayat, that is, by repetition of verses.
If we took the time to observe the manner of Tafsir of Quranic we would clearly see
that the subjects that is given by Allah in His Book itself and which was consequently
taught by the messenger to his was through the repeated ayats throughout the Quran.
"See how We repeat the verses that they may understand." Sura 6/65
"See how We repeat the verses, yet they turn away (from the truth rendered by
recurrence of Ayat." Sura 6/46
The Most Merciful allama (He taught) qur'na (the Quran) Sura 55/1-2
Allah warned Prophet Muhammad not to change the wahyun (revelation) or invent
sayings since Allah would punish him:
And when Our signs tut'l (are recited) to them, ytun (Our signs), bayyintin (as
clear proofs) those who look not to encounter Us say, 'Bring a Quran other than this, or
baddil'hu (change it).' Say: 'It is not for me that ubaddilahu (I change it) of my own

accord. attabiu (I follow) except what y (is revealed) to me. Truly I fear, if I should
rebel against my Lord, the chastisement of a dreadful day.' Sura 10/15
innahu (Indeed it is) laqawlu (surely the word) raslin (of a Messenger) karmin
(noble) . And not biqawli (is the word) of a poet; little do you believe! And not biqawli
(it is the word) of a soothsayer; little do you remember. tanzlun (It is a revelation)
from the Lord lamna (of all the worlds). And if taqawwala (He had
fabricated/invented) alayn (against Us) some aqwli (sayings) la-akhadhn
(Certainly We would have seized) him by the right hand, then certainly We would
have cut off from him watna (the aorta). And there is no one of you who could
prevent Us from him. Sura 69/40-47
The Quran is the only book for the Muslim. There is no god worthy of worship except
Allah, and there is no other book that was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad that is a
clear guidance for humanity as a whole except the Quran, the Book of Allah.
It should be noticed that the honourable verses which concern Allahs being sufficient
as a Lord, and the Quran as a book, all take the form of questioning in the negative, that
is, negating those who take gods with Allah and books such as Hadith of Sahih
Bukhari/Muslim and company alongside the Book of Allah.
Allah made clear that the Quran is enough, and that it is a mercy and reminder for the
believers,
Is it not enough of a miracle that we sent down to you this book, being recited to them?
This is indeed a mercy and a reminder for people who believe. (29:51).
It is from Allahs mercy on us that He imposed on us one book, which is easy to
understand, its protected from edition, and He made it plain and clear. It has a
beginning and an end, and it doesnt ask us to refer to other books authored by humans
who are just like us, and who are capable of making mistakes, forgetfulness, susceptible
to prejudice, and even disobey these tales of the ancient books called Hadith.
Moreover, these books contradict one another, and there is neither a beginning to their
books nor an end.
"Let them then produce a
truth". Sura 52:34

"hadith" like this (Quran), if indeed they speak the

Let us put this to rest once and for all the chopping
block.
106 | P a g e

The Qur'an, following Qur'an ALONE can eliminate the division and bida (man-made
innovations) that crept into Islam. The Sunni and Shia Muslim doctrine is based on
blind faith when it comes to those so-called hadith because they do not have one shred
of evidence to back up their sectarian belief of using them inside the Qur'an.
Sunni and Shia Muslim are so blind to their own argument they dont even realize that
they have to provide proof for the assumption in their question before they can even
think of asking such a question. Their question is like the following:

Are there discrepancies / errors / weaknesses in

Hadith rather they are authentic or not?
As we can clearly see, the question has to be separated. So I elaborate to get rid of
baseless assumptions:
1) Is the Qur'an reliable or not? Yes.
2) Are the sources for Ahadith reliable or not? No.
Only one is protected by Allah, and that is Al Qur'an. Yet, they say both are identical
and to say both are identical in terms of reliability is to go against what Allah states, and
to be in denial. Its clear that the Qur'an was revealed and written down while the
Prophet Muhammad was alive. For one Allah do tell us that He revealed the Qur'an
and its a guidance for all of humanity.
To the Sunnis and Shia Allah never told us to believe in hadiths or that they are
guidance. There is obvious a missing link because no one has ever produced a verse to
tell us this about the hadith of the Sunnis and Shia. Yet, Allah tells us over and over
again that the Qur'an is from Him and its a guidance for all of humanity and that He
preserved it. Where the hadith verses that says this?
Allah tells us clearly that the Quran, not hadith of the Sunnis and Shia but the Quran is
infallible, meaning that there are no errors in the Quran, not even one single error
because just one error will destroy the infallibility of a Book and this right here puts
Allahs Book Quran apart from all other books such as Hadith books of Sunnis and
Shia.

The Chopping Block:

Quran = divinely protected VERSUS Sunni/Shia Hadith/Sunnah not protected
Quran = Allah's Word VERSUS Sunni/Shia Hadith/Sunnah men's word
107 | P a g e

Quran = no contradictions VERSUS Sunni/Shia Hadith/Sunnah = many

contradictions
Quran = 100% sahih/sound VERSUS Sunni/Shia Hadith/Sunnah = some weak, some
sound, no-one knows
Quran = Prophet Muhammad oversaw its
recording VERSUS Sunni/Shia Hadith/Sunnah = prophet Muhammad did not oversee
its recording
Quran = recorded at the time of prophet
Muhammad VERSUS Sunni/Shia Hadith/Sunnah = most famous 6 hadith books
recorded generations after prophet Muhammad
The Qur'an = Allah's Word VERSUS Sunni/Shia Ahadith/Sunnah = man's word
The Qur'an = 100% fact/truth/perfect VERSUS Sunni/Shia Ahadith/Sunnah = mix of
truth and falsehood (hence weak and strong hadith)
The Qur'an = recorded under the DIRECT supervision of prophet
Muhammad VERSUS
Sunni/Shia Ahadith/Sunnah = not recorded under the DIRECT supervision of prophet
Muhammad
The Qur'an = written AND memorised word for word as soon as it was
transmitted VERSUS Sunni/Shia Ahadith/Sunnah = non-one ever claimed to record
and memorise ahadith word for word as soon as it was transmitted
The Qur'an = protected explicitly by Allah Himself as stated in The
Qur'an VERSUS Sunni/Shia Ahadith/Sunnah = no such explicit protection stated
The Qur'an = no Muslim doubts its credibility VERSUS Sunni/Shia Ahadith/Sunnah =
each sect has its own versions, weak & strong ones etc
The Qur'an = in-built verification mechanism, challenges others to find inconsistancy,
bring a chapter like it etc VERSUS Sunni/Shia Ahadith/Sunnah = no such in-built
mechanism, full of inconsistancies etc.
Its amazing that people who have been advocating Hadith have now started saying
that the Qur'an is also a Hadith with the arabic terminology of "Mutwatir" and
"Matrook". This seems to have no sense at all why does it not make any sense because
the Qur'an was revealed by Allah, sent down through Gabriel
1) narrated 2) inspired to our Prophet, jammah (collected), and "bayaan", arranging
was done in the presence of Prophet and under the Supervision of Allah, whereas
Hadiths were compiled after 200 years plus depending upon hearsay.
Also, the Qur'an has been protected by Allah and no one can dare or think of making
any addtion/deletion into it. The Qur'an not the Sunni/Shia Hadith was and still has
been and going to be like this till the day of Judgement, whereas no such protection is
towards Hadith of the Sunni/Shia.
108 | P a g e

Also the Qur'an is the word of Allah, proved from Quran itself, whereas Hadiths have
been ATTRIBUTED TO our Prophet AFTER his death.
There is No Iktlaaf/Contradiction whatsoever in Qur'an. Allah asserts in the Qur'an
that had it been from anyone except Allah, there would have
been Itktlaaf/Contradictions in it.
However, the Sunni/Shia Hadith/Sunnah are full of differences and divisions because
they are not revealed by Allah but rather attributed to our Prophets by humans.
Historically, it is recorded in various places that the Sunni/Shia Hadith/Sunnah were
fabricated by people due to their liking/disliking, political difference, gaining
of favors where Qur'an is Free from All this mess.

Reflection:
It is a categorical challenge in Qur'an that Bring a book which gives more guidance than
two books (One Quran and Moses Book), whereas it cannot be said about the
Sunni/Shia Hadith/Sunnah Books.
Remember the Qur;an and not the Sunni/Shia Hadith/Sunnah books was
1) jammah
2) amalgamated
3) compiled
4) arranged
Now this was during the time of Prophet Muhammad under the direct supervision of
Allah.
Again, whereas in Hadith books of the Sunnis/Shia everyone has given their
contribution according to their own choice after 200 years or more and that also without
any guidance/supervision/revelation from Allah.
Whoever from the Sunni/Shia want to compare the Qur'an in its totality to the totality
of Hadith books of the Sunni/Shia is null and void.

Prophet Muhammad did not have his own path, (Millah) or way (sunna)
because he was instructed to follow that of Prophet Ibrahim and the
Messengers from the past.
109 | P a g e

"Then awayn (We revealed) to you, ittabi(to follow) Millata ibrahima (the creed of
Ibrahim), anfan (inclining toward truth); and he was not of those who associate with
Allah." Sura 16/123
"Say, " Allah has told the truth. fa-ittabi (then follow) millata ibrahima (the way of
Ibrahim) inclining toward truth; and he was not of the polytheists." Sura 3/95
"And who is fairer dnan (in the way) of life than he who submitted his face to Allah
and he is one who is a doer of good wa-ittabaa (and follows) millata ibrahima (the
way of Ibrahim), anfan (upright)? And Allah took Ibrahim to Himself khallan (as a
friend)." Sura 4/125
"wa-ittabatu (And I follow) millata (the way) b (of my fathers): ib'rhma, Isaac,
and Jacob. It was not for us to set up partners with God at all. That is Allah's blessings
over us and over the people, but most of the people are not thankful." Sura 12/38
To the true believers of the Straight path these Habr/Scholars are not telling us that the
Arabic word "Sunnah" is right inside the Qur'an just like how they concealed the
fact "hadith" is in the Qur'an because if they made this known it would expose the
falsehood of their schools of thought which teaches us that Bukhari and company
compiled man made books called hadith which they call the Sunnah of
Muhammad.Yet, the Arabic word "Sunnah" is in the Qur'an and it looks like this:

Again, the Bayyinat (Clear Evidence) in this ayat below where the Arabic
word "Sunnah" is found and you will clearly see that it has nothing to do with ahadith
compiled by BUKHARI, TIRMIDHI and company:

Again, Allah says about clear ayats,

""It is He who has sent down to you, the Book; in it are verses mu'kamtun (that are
precise) - they are ummu (the foundation) of the Book..."
110 | P a g e

So here we have this Sunnah is being presented as a past tense. Remember the
chronological order the scriptures were revealed in and when the man-made hadiths
were written then compiled by BUKHARI, TIRMIDHI company.
1. Previous scriptures such as the Suhuf, Tawrah, Psalms, Injil, for examples came into
existence BEFORE the Qur'an.
In other words they were revealed BEFORE the Qur'an.
2. Now the next order of revelation to come is the Qur'an.
3. Now the these so called Hadith books that were written compiled around centuries
later after the death of Prophet Muhammad called hadith came AFTER the Qur'an and
not BEFORE.
Now go back and examine Surah 17/77

Here we see that the "Sunnah" is in past tense, so therefore the "Sunnah" that is spoken
of in the Qur'an has nothing to do with the books called hadith compiled by BUKHARI,
TIRMIDHI and company which Sunni Muslims say is the Sunnatu Rasoolullah
(Sunnah of Messenger) that were again written and compiled in the
future (AFTER) the revelation of the best Hadith, the Qur'an and not BEFORE.
Now look at the Arabic words below, which is Arabic for

"SunnatuAllah"
Again, more Bayyinat (Clear Evidence) "Sunnatu Allah" is found in Qur'an in Surah
48:23 and you will clearly see that it has nothing to do with hadith books written then
compiled by BUKHARI, TIRMIDHI and company.
111 | P a g e

Again the "Sunnatu Allah" in that ayat is in past tense, so therefore the "Sunnah" that is
spoken of in the Qur'an has nothing to do with the books called hadith written then
later compiled by BUKHARI, TIRMIDHI and company which Sunni Muslims say is
the Sunnatu Rasoolullah (Sunnah of Messenger) that were again written and later
compiled in the future (AFTER) the revelation of the best Hadith, the Qur'an and
not BEFORE.

Remember, the Prophet Muhammad followed the

Millata Ibrahim:
"Then awayn (We revealed) to you, ittabi(to follow) Millata ibrahima (the creed of
Ibrahim), anfan (inclining toward truth); and he was not of those who associate with
Allah." Sura 16/123
The Prophet Muhammad followed the Sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim and all the
Messengers before him. The Prophet Muhammad followed the Sunnah of Allah. The
Millata Ibrahima and Sunnatu Allah are the same thing which is the revelation of Islam,
which has always existed since the beginning of time.
Remember in Surah 17:77 and Surah 48:23 Allah says Allah's Sunnah is the same in the
past with his Messengers before Prophet Muhammad and His Sunnah never changes.
The Prophet Muhammad never knew of a Sunnah called the Sunnatu Rasoolullah
(Sunnah of Messenger) or the Sunnah of Muhammad as the Scholars call it today.
The Prophet Muhammad followed the revelation of the Qur'an that was revealed to
him.
This is why the so called Habr/Scholars, Sheiks, Religious leaders, Imams, ulama,
mullas NEVER point this out to their followers within the plethora of their sects and
schools of thought that they created in Islam because they (sheiks, religious leaders,
imams, ulama, mullas) who are concealers of the truth do not want the falsehood of
their sect and their sectarian teachings in Islam to be exposed.
112 | P a g e

So they keep their followers and congregation in darkness and do not teach the Arabic
so that we can see that "hadith" and "sunnah" are in fact in the Qur'an and has nothing
to do with the ahadith books written and then later compiled by BUKHARI, TIRMIDHI
and company.

Al Kitab wal-Hikmata (the Book and the Wisdom) was

not just exclusively for the Prophet Muhammad
Al Hikmata (the Wisdom) is another mutashabihaat/ambiguous ayat, unclear ayat that
the Sunnis and Shites love to exploit and misinterpret. The Quran speaks on eight
occasions of the Kitab in conjunction with the Hikmata (the Wisdom) and on the ninth
occasion ayat Allah is substituted for Al Kitab together with al Hikmata. Now, Hikmata
signifies propriety of judgment of conduct. According to the Quran Hikmata is the
primary trait of Nubuwaah/the Prophets that entailed the establishment and
perpertuation of property in veritable modes of behavior. Even the efforts of a Prophet
with a book are directed essentially to the same veritable modes of behavior, hence
Hikmata in action. Later, we see the case with the Kitab being embodied in the
Hikmata. There is no question of the Hikmata being turned into a mere epheremal
accident of the Kitab.
The Hikmata springs from the Kitab to the Hikmata and the Kitab grows into the
Hikmata. Now the Sunnis and Shites claim that the Hikmata is equated fully with the
Sunnah, the pattern of behavior according to the design of the Kitab.

Prophet Muhammad was given Al Hikmata (the

Wisdom):
Allah says:
"Our Sustainer! and raise up in them a messenger from among them who shall recite to
them your verses wayuallimuhumu (and will teach them) kitba (The Book) walik'mata (and the wisdom), and proivide development to their personalities; surely
Thou art the Mighty, the Wise." Sura 2/129
"Certainly Allah conferred a favour upon the believers when He raised among them a
messenger from among themselves, reciting to them His verses and providing
development to their personalities, wayuallimuhumu (and teaching them) kitba (the
Book) wal-ik'mata (and the wisdom), although before that they were surely in
manifest error." Sura 3/164
113 | P a g e

It is He who has sent among umiyna raslan (gentile Messenger) from themselves
yatl (reciting) to them ytihi (His verses) wayuzakkhim (and purifying them)
wayuallimuhumu (and teaching them) kitba (the Book) wal-ik'mata (and
wisdom) - although they were before in clear error . Sura 62/2
In the above and many similar ayats it is mentioned that the messenger is to give
knowledge of the Book and the wisdom. The Book or Al-Kitab, refers to the Quran, as
this is clarified in many other verses itself, e.g.
But Sunnis and Shites imply that Hikmah or Wisdom in the previously mentioned
ayats/verses refers to something other than Al-Kitab, hence it is another type of
hidden revelation which the messenger received.
According to them, this revelation which is identified as Hikmah, is the un-recited
hidden revelation of Allah, and is not contained in the Quran but it is to be found in the
books of traditions authenticated by their sect. However to term the books of traditions
as Hikmahis very wrong as the Quran itself clarifies what is Hikmah.
They try to use the Prophet Muhammads words and deeds as hidden revelations a part
divne revelations and they try to say that the Quran makes it quite clear that wahyun
(revelation) is not confirned to Books of Allah but is a continuous process in the lives of
the Prophets.
Then awayn (We revealed) so the question is when did the Prophet Muhammad
get this NEW REVELATION. If Sunnis and Shites going to say he received an extra
revelation would be here. It says clearly awayn (We revealed) to ittabi (you
follow) yet this is overlooked.
The Arabic word awayn is the same as wayun.
Its clear that this does not mean that this is a new revelation in terms of wayhun
(revelation) to be revealed to the alamin.

Also, the same word awayn wayun is used for

the Bee:
Your companion has not strayed, nor has he erred, Nor doth he speak from haw (the
desire). It is not but wayun (a revelation) y (revealed), Taught to him by one
intense in strength. Sura 53/2-5

114 | P a g e

Most of the Sunnis and Shites uses the wahyun (a revelation) to claim that this means
Hadith which they assume is the Prophets personal sayings, words collected in Hadith.
Yet, they fail to realize that when Allah says,
Nor doth he speak from haw (the desire) this is not saying that the Prophet didnt
ever speak from his own desire because we have a clear ayat that shows clearly that the
Prophet did speak from his own desire,
O Prophet! Why do tuarrimu (you bannest / prohibit) that which Allah aalla (hath
made lawful) for you, seeking to please thy wives? And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
Sura 66/1
So its very clear that Allah isnt speaking about the Prophets own personal speech and
this would technically be Hadith since most Sunnis and Shites believes Hadith are the
personals sayings of the Prophet.
It is not but wayun (a revelation) y (revealed), Taught to him by one intense in
strength.
When Allah says that wayun (a revelation) y (revealed) this is referring only to
that which is being revealed to the Prophet as divine revelation which is the Quran.
Remember, wayun (a revelation) is the same exact Arabic word as y (revealed).
The only time the Prophet did not speak of his own desire is when he was receiving
wayun (a revelation) y (revealed) to him.
Outside of wahyun yuha was not divine revelation which was subject to error,
mistakes, reproofetc.

Allah does not stop with only revealing wahyun yuha

just to the Prophet
Allah says:
"wa-aw (And inspired) your Lord the bees, saying: "Take you habitations in the
mountains and in the trees and in what they erect." Sura 16/68
Hence, some of the Sunnis and Shite Muslims even MISS this particular ayat when they
say that the Prophet was given besides the Qur'an other revelations. Allah uses the
same Arabic word wahyun yuha he uses for the Bee.

115 | P a g e

Allah uses the same Arabic word for Moses mother

was Moses Mother given a Sunnah for us to follow:
"And We had already conferred favor upon you another time, When awayn (We
inspired) to your mother what y (revealed)," Sura 20/38

Moses and his brother Harun/Aaron was given

Wahyun (Revelation):
wa-awayn (And We inspired) to Moses and his brother, "Settle your people in
Egypt in houses and make your houses qiblah and establish salaat and give good
tidings to the believers." Sura 10/87

Moses was given Wahyun (Revelation):

Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley
of Tuwa. And I have chosen you, so listen to what y (is revealed.) Sura 20/12
And verily awayn (We inspired) Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night and
strike for them a dry path in the sea, fearing not to be overtaken, neither being afraid.
Sura 20/77

Prophet Muhammad received Wahyun (Revelation):

Indeed, awayn (We have reveale) to you (Muhammad), as awayn (We revealed)
to Noah and the prophets after him. wa-awayn (And we revealed) to Abraham,
Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the Descendants, Isa, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and to
David We gave the book [of Psalms]. Sura 4/163
"Then awayn (We revealed) to ittabi (you follow) the millata religion ib'rhma,
inclining toward truth; and he was not of those who associate with Allah." Sura 16:123
Your companion [Muhammad] has not strayed, nor has he erred, Nor does he speak
out of desire. It is wayun (a revelation) y (revealed) Sura 53/2-4

Do the Sunnis and Shites know that even the disiciples

of Isa ibn Maryam was inspiration as well:

116 | P a g e

And [remember] when awaytu (I inspired) to the disciples, "Believe in Me and in My

messenger Isa." They said, "We have believed, so bear witness that indeed we are
Muslims. Sura 5/111

Adam was given Wahyun (Revelation):

And We said, "O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat therefrom in
[ease and] abundance from wherever you will. But do not approach this tree, lest you
be among the wrongdoers." Sura 2/35
So he made them fall, through deception. And when they tasted of the tree, their
private parts became apparent to them, and they began to fasten together over
themselves from the leaves of Paradise. And their Lord called to them, "Did I not
forbid you from that tree and tell you that Satan is to you a clear enemy?" Sura 7/22

Noah was given Wahyun (Revelation):

waiya (And it was revealed) to Noah that, "No one will believe from your people
except those who have already believed, so do not be distressed by what they have been
doing. Sura 11/36
At length, behold! there came Our command, and the fountains of the earth gushed
forth! We said: "Embark therein, of each kind two, male and female, and your family except those against whom the word has already gone forth,- and the Believers." but
only a few believed with him. Sura 11/40
He said, "O Noah, indeed he is not of your family; indeed, he is [one whose] work was
other than righteous, so ask Me not for that about which you have no knowledge.
Indeed, I advise you, lest you be among the ignorant." Sura 11/46

Abraham was given Wahyun (Revelation):

And that was Our conclusive argument which We gave Abraham against his people.
We raise by degrees whom We will. Indeed, your Lord is Wise and Knowing. Sura
6/83

Jacob was given Wahyun (Revelation):

And when the bearer of good tidings arrived, he cast it over his face, and he returned
[once again] seeing. He said, "Did I not tell you that I know from Allah that which you
do not know?" Sura 12/94
117 | P a g e

Prophet Yusuf / Joseph was given Wahyun

(Revelation):
So when they took him [out] and agreed to put him into the bottom of the well... But
wa-awayn (We inspired to him), "You will surely inform them [someday] about this
affair of theirs while they do not perceive. Sura 12/15

Prophet Isaac, Jacob and all of them were made

righteous and were given Wahyun (Revelation):
And We delivered him (Abraham) and Lot to the land which We had blessed for the
worlds. And We gave him Isaac and Jacob in addition, and all [of them] jaaln (We
made) lina (righteous). And We made them a-immatan (leaders) guiding by Our
command. wa-awayn (And We inspired) to them the doing of good deeds,
establishment of salaat, and giving of zakah; and they were servants of Us. Sura 21/7173
Now we see throughout the entire Quran other Prophets were given Wahyun
(Revelation) which had nothing to do with the revelation of Books. So when it comes to
Prophet Muhammad again why do the Sunnis and Shites make it only exclusive to him.
So back to Al Hikmata as we can see Al Hikmata has nothing to do with some hidden
revelation being given to the Prophet Muhammad.
The claim that Hikmah is some revelation outside of the Quran is refuted by Allah
Himself when after stating the divine values of the Quran, Allah says:
"This is of what your Sustainer has revealed to you of ik'mati (of Wisdom), and do not
associate any other god with Allah lest you should be thrown into hell, blamed, cast
away." Sura 17/39
Allah says:
Thus the above ayat identifies the Quran itself to be Hikmati, and it is confirmed
that Hikmati is simply another attribute of the Book of Allah.
"There have already come to them Recitals wherein there is (enough) to check (them).
ik'matun blighatun (Wisdom Perfect) but (the preaching of) Warners profits them
not." Sura 54/4-5

118 | P a g e

And bear in mind that which is recited in your houses of the revelations of Allah walik'mati (and wisdom). Lo! Allah is Subtile, Aware." Sura 33/34
So here we have from the above ayat Allah conveys to us Along with the Ayat of
Allah, hikmati (and wisdom) also recited in the homes of the wives of the Prophet
Muhammad which nullifies the claim that Hikmati consists of un recited revelation.
The Quran makes it evident that Hikmah is not some revelation outside of the Quran,
but is simply another attribute of the Quran itself. All the messengers of Allah, received
Al-Kitab i.e. the written laws and injunctions for governing human society, but along
with the law, Allah also gave the wisdom or rationale behind that law. Since the law of
Allah was not meant to be applied forcefully upon people, and it is something that the
people have to accept using their faculties of reason and free will, therefore whenever
the Quran ordaines a law, it also gives the wisdom or reason behind it and asks us to
reflect upon the benefits we derive by implementing the divine law in our societies.

A human being blessed with al Kitab (the book) and

Prophethood also comes with the Hikmati (the
Wisdom):
It is not libasharin (for a human/prophet) that Allah should give him kitba (the
Scripture) wal-uk'ma (and authority/Wisdom) wal-nubuwata (and prophethood)
and then he would say to the people, "Be servants to me rather than Allah ," but
[instead, he would say], "Be pious scholars of the Lord because of what you have taught
of the Scripture and because of what you have studied." Sura 3/79

Prophet Yusuf was given Wisdom:

And when Joseph reached ashuddahu (his maturity), We gave him uk'man
(wisdom/judgment) wail'man (and knowledge). And thus We reward the doers of
good. Sura 12/22

Prophet Yahya (John) was given Wisdom:

[Allah] said, "O John, take kitba (the Scripture) biquwwatin (with determination)."
And We gave him uk'ma (the wisdom/judgement) abiyyan (while yet a boy). Sura
19/12

119 | P a g e

Prophet Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and the rest of the

Prophets of Israel wre given Wahyun (Revelation) and
Al Hikmata (Wisdom):
And We gave him (Abraham) Isaac and Jacob in addition, and all [of them] We made
righteous. And We made them leaders guiding by Our command. wa-awayn (And
We inspired) to them the doing of good deeds, establishment of salaat, and giving of
zakah; and they were servants of Us. And to Lot We gave uk'man (the
wisdom/judgement) wail'man (and knowledge), and We saved him from the city that
was committing wicked deeds. Indeed, they were a people of evil, defiantly
disobedient. Sura 21/72-74

Prophet Isa ibn Maryam was given clear proofs, Al

Hikmati (Wisdom), came to make clear to them along
with telling them to obey him:
And when Isa brought bil-bayinti (clear proofs), he said, "I have come to you bilik'mati (with wisdom) wali-ubayyina (and to make clear) to you some of that over
which you differ, so fear Allah wa-ani (and obey me). Sura 43/63
Now Isa ibn Maryam has many similarities that fits the description of what the Sunnis
and Shites says represents the Sunnah of Muhammad such as bil-ik'mati (with
wisdom) wali-ubayyina (and to make clear) wa-ani (and obey me). These are
the main three arguments they love to say represents the Hadith/Sunnah of
Muhammad.
"[We sent them] bil-bayinti (WITH CLEAR PROOFS) wal-zuburi (AND THE
SCRIPTURES). wa-anzaln (AND WE REVEALED) to you dhik'ra (THE REMINDER)
litubayyina (THAT YOU MAY MAKE CLEAR) to the people what was sent down to
them and that they might give thought." Sura 16/44

This ayat DOES NOT SAY 'THAT YOU MAY EXPLAIN TO THE
PEOPLE.'
Notice the same exact ayat is given to Prophet Isa below:
And when Isa brought bil-bayinti (CLEAR PROOFS), he said, "I have come to you
bil-ik'mati (WITH WISDOM) wali-ubayyina (AND TO MAKE CLEAR TO YOU) to
120 | P a g e

you some of that over which you differ, so fear Allah wa-ani (AND OBEY ME).
Sura 43/6

What about the Ulema in the Ummah does the Qur'an

support this?
It is clear to us that the early Islamic society that existed after the advent of the Prophet
was robust and did not differentiate between worldly and religious issues. According to
historical sources the Prophet Muhammad and the four great caliphs carried out both
these roles very well without the need for any specialized group to monitor the
religious issues. There was no clergy then.
Most of the fikh jurists and scholars like Iman Shafie, hadis scholars like Bukhari or
scholars of tafsir like Ashari were not born until the 8th or lOth century during the ==>
Abbasid Period.
The split between the clergy (ulema) and the political leadership (umara) took place at
about this time also. For example the high sounding office of "sheikhul Islam" was first
used by the Ottoman Turks under Sultan Sulaiman I (1520 1566 AD). This position
occupied the same status as Prime Minister in the caliph's cabinet.
To justify their role and responsibility in society, the Ulema Association quotes a
hadith, just like many other ulema in Malaysia, which says that the ulema are the
inheritors of the Prophet's mission.

The Quran doesnt say Ask those who know as the

traditional translations are translated as which they
imply means the Ulema.
Allah says:
"And We did not send before you except men whom We inspired to. So ask
the People of the Reminder (Ahl-Azzikr / ) if you do not know." Sura 21/6-7
It reads,

/ So Ask the People of the Reminder (Ahl-Azzikr /

). 'Azzikr /
' means "The Reminder" and who are "Ahl-Azzikr (People of the
Reminder)" mentioned in the verse?
If we look at what is just before the verse: "And We did not send before you except men
whom We inspired to...", notice that this verse is speaking of previous messengers who
121 | P a g e

were sent with Scriptures, and it points out that they were ordinary human beings. The
verse continues...

"So Ask the People of the Reminder (Ahl-Azzikr /

) if you do not know".
This is a statement continuing on from the previous portion, a metaphorical expression
to ask the 'People of the Book' (Jews and Nazarenes) who will testify to the existence of
previous messengers, since they are following them. "Ahl-Azzikr" is another name for
the "Ahl-Al Kitab (People of the Book)", the Jews and the Nazarenes. The particle "
(fa)" or "so" in English, used in "so ask the people of The Reminder" is an additional
evidence as to linking us with them.
"The (Qur'an) is indeed a message for you and your people, (all of) you shall be brought
to account, and ASK those arsaln (We sent) min qablika (before you), 'Did We
appoint any deities other than the Most Merciful whom they should worship?'" Sura
43/44-45
Why would Allah put something on the Prophet or us that is beyond reason if there are
no Prophets around to ask and we don't have the previous Scriptures to seek from?
"If you are in shakkin (doubt) as to what We have revealed unto thee, then ask those
who have been reading the Book from before you: the Truth hath indeed come to thee
from thy Lord: so be in no wise of those in doubt." Sura 10/94

Are the Scholars are the heirs of the Prophets?

http://www.sunypress.edu/pdf/61252.pdf
Thus, the research shows historically that is there is no evidence from early Islamic
history to support this contention. Even the Constitution of Madinah, a legal document
that was allegedly authored by the Prophet himself, does not mention any role for the
ulema.
And if we read the Qur'an that was brought to us by the Prophet Muhammad we will
see that the Qur'an can be inherited by anyone at all whom Allah favours.

It is not limited to the ulama alone in any way. Please

note this verse:

122 | P a g e

"What We reveal to you in this scripture is the truth, confirming all previous scriptures.
God is aware of all things and is Seer of all things about his servants. We then make
inheritors of this Quran from anyone We choose from among our servants." Al Faathir
31-32.
Allah (Most Exalted is He), Who created us and gave us sustenance, has also given us
guidance. He said:
"Verily We have created man into toil and struggle Have We not made for him a pair
of eyes; and a tongue, and a pair of lips; and shown him the two ways (obedience and
disobedience)?" Sura 90/4-10
After providing us with the capability to contemplate, think and differentiate between
things, He instructed us to know Him, to know his Prophets and to know His Deen,
Islam.
Also Allah says,
"So know that there is no god save Allah, ask forgiveness for your sins and for the
believing men and the believing women. Allah knows well your moving and your place
of rest." Sura 47/19
If we truly realise the importance Islam places on knowledge and its virtues, we will
definitely be keen to learn and teach others. We would start with ourselves and then
our families then our neighbours and the community at large.
We must remember as Muslims we should continue to have a desire to seek knowledge.

Allah instructed His Prophet -- and thus all Muslims -to ask Allah to increase him in knowledge. He said:
"And say: My Lord increase me in knowledge." Sura 20/114
Though, initially, all Muslims are equal in the sight of Allah, those who believe, have
taqwah (fear of Allah and righteousness), and have been granted knowledge move up
to higher ranks.

Allah says about those who have taqwah:

"Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is he who has most
taqwah." Sura 49/13

123 | P a g e

And He said about those who believed and acquired

knowledge:
"Allah will raise up, to (suitable) ranks and (degrees), those of you who believe and
who have been granted knowledge. And Allah is well-acquainted with all you do." Sura
58/11
When a servant of Allah is granted knowledge, he/she appreciates Allah's creation
more, and becomes more acquainted with Allah's attributes and qualities.
Consequently, he/she wholeheartedly witnesses that his Creator who is Allah the
Almighty is the only one worthy of worship, and then submits to Him humbly. This, in
return, generates in his/her heart a fear, which is akin to a full appreciation and love of
their Lord.

In the Qur'an, Allah even witnessed in favour of His learned servants

these qualities, full appreciation of His Oneness and fear of Him.
Allah states in two verses, to be recited until Doomsday:
"There is no one worthy of worship but He: That is the witness of Allah, His angels and
those endowed with knowledge, Standing firm in Justice (or maintaining His Creation
in Justice). There is no god but He, the Exalted in power, the Wise." Sura 3/18
"It is only those who have knowledge among His servants that fear Allah." Sura 35/28

So why is there a need for the Ulama? Does it come

from the Qur'an? What is its origin?
"And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the
sight and the heart - about all those [one] will be questioned." Sura 17/36
The Arabic word for Ulema is "alim" which means one who has knowledge or knower
or all-knowing which is a Divine Attribute.
Of the 163 alim ulema words in the Qur'an, only 10 are adjectives for man. The
remaining majorities are for Allah.

These examples of the word used for human beings

are:
124 | P a g e

1. Alim or ulema magicians, in the story of Prophet Musa Sura 7/109, 112, 10/79,
26/34,37.
"The leaders among Pharaohs people said, This man is a learned Aaleemun
(sorcerer)!" Sura 7/109
"to summon every sahirin Aalimin (learned sorcerer) to you." Sura 7/112
"And Pharaoh said, Bring me every sahirin Aalimin (learned sorcerer)." Sura 10/79
"Pharaoh said to the counsellors around him, This man is a lasahirun Aalimun
(learned sorcerer)!" Sura 26/34
"to bring you every sahharin Aalimin (expert magician)." Sura 26/37
2. Prophet Joseph was an alim in keeping the storehouses Sura 12:55
"Joseph said, "Appoint me over the storehouses of the land. Indeed, I will be a Aalimun
(knowing)guardian." Sura 12/55
3. The alim son of Prophet Abraham Sura 15/53, 51/28
"Do not be afraid, they said, We bring you good news of a son who will have
great Aalimin (knowledge)." Sura 15/53
"He felt afraid of them but they said, Do not be afraid! and gave him the good news of
a son imbued with Aalimin (knowledge)." Sura 51/28
4. The ulama of Bani Israel who believe in the Qur'an Sura 26/197
"Is it not indeed a Sign for them that the scholars of the tribe of Israel have ya Alamahu
(knowledge of it)?" Sura 26/197
The ulama here are not the Ezras or the masters or doctors of religion because Allah
uses a different word which is the Arabic word Hubr for them.
5. Only the ulema fear Allah, in Surah 35/28.

Some people have claimed that the ulama as used in the

above examples are them but they are wrong.
Let us verify further Allah says,

125 | P a g e

"And of humans and beasts and cattle there are likewise diverse hues. Only Aibadihi
alAulamao (those of Allahs servants having knowledge) fear Him. Indeed Allah is
all-mighty, all-forgiving." Sura 35/28
In Arabic the word ulema, in Allah's language, mean those who know or the experts or
the scholars of the arts and sciences excluding those master or doctors of deen.
Now since it is not the word ulema that Allah uses then what is the word, the word
mentioned by Allah is habr, and this word appears four times in the Qur'an.
They are:

1. Habr who uphold the Scripture Sura 5/44

"We sent down the Torah containing guidance and light, and the Prophets who had
submitted themselves gave judgement by it for the Jews waalahbaru (and the
scholars) and their rabbis by what they had been allowed to preserve of Allahs Book
to which they were witnesses. Do not be afraid of people, be afraid of Me. And do not
sell My Signs for a paltry price. Those who do not judge by what Allah has sent down,
such people are kafirun." Sura 5/44

2. Habr who conceal the truth Sura 5/63

"Why do the rabbis waalahbaru (and religious scholars) not forbid them from saying
what is sinful and devouring what is unlawful? How wretched is what they have been
practicing." Sura 5/63

3. Habr who cheat the people of their monies and

properties and they keep the people away from the

path of Allah Sura 9/34
The Qur'an clearly states:
"They took their ahbarahum (religious scholars) and their monks (as) lords from other
than Allah and the Messiah, Mary's Son, and they were not ordered/commanded
except to worship one Allah, no Allah except He, His praise/glory from what they
share/make partners (with Allah)." Sura 9/34

126 | P a g e

Allah warns us about obeying the teachings of these masters or doctors of religion or
habr while disregarding the teachings of Allah tantamount to taking them as gods
beside Allah or as His partners.
Allah says,
"Or do they have associates who legislate for them about religion in mutters which
Allah would not permit?" Sura 42/21
Yes, obeying these masters of doctors or religion has made this ummah to be idolaters,
or mushriks -to use the Quranic description.
Also, we have to overstand that the Quran states that the habr/Scholars are infact the
very opponents of the Deen given by Allah. Thus it is stated in Surah At-Tauba:
"They took their ahbarahum (religious scholars) and their monks (as) lords from other
than Allah and the Messiah, Mary's Son, and they were not ordered/commanded
except to worship one Allah, no Allah except He, His praise/glory from what they
share/make partners (with Allah)." Sura 9/34
The Habr/Scholars hinders people from the path of Allah described in His Book, by
inventing laws from their own selves and then falsely attributing them to Allah. They
also tutor their followers to to be sheeple and to accept without hesitation what ever
they teach, thus render useless their reasoning ability, and people are deluded to
consider the concoted teachings of the Clergy to be the divine truth.

The Quran resents such in the strongest terms:

"Woe, then, to those who write the book with their hands and then say: This is from
Allah, so that they may take for it a small price; therefore woe to them for what their
hands have written and woe to them for what they earn." Sura 2:79

In Surah Ash-Shoora we are reminded about those who invent Shariahlaws by themselves and then falsely attribute them to Allah and His
messenger:
"Or have they associates who have prescribed for them any Shariah laws that Allah
does not sanction? And were it not for the word of judgment, decision would have
certainly been given between them; and surely the unjust shall have a painful
punishment." Sura 42/21

127 | P a g e

SUNNAH n.f. (pl. sunan) -institution, customary

action...
In the Qur'an we are given

"Many were
'sunanun' (the Ways of Life) that have passed away before you: travel
through the earth, and see what was the end of those who rejected Truth." Surah 3/137

"Allah doth wish to make clear to you and to show you the
'sunana' (to) ways) of
those before you; and (He doth wish to) turn to you (In Mercy): And Allah is Allknowing, All-wise." Surah 4/26
"Say to the Unbelievers, if (now) they desist (from Unbelief), their past would be
forgiven them; but if they persist,
'sunnatu' (the) practice) of those before them is
already (a matter of warning for them)." Surah 8/38
"That they should not believe in the (Message); but
ancients have passed away." Surah 15/13

'sunnatu' (the way(s) of the

"
'sunnata' (Such is Our Way) with the apostles We sent before thee: thou wilt find
no change
'lisunnatin' (in Our ways.)" Surah 17/77
"And what is there to keep back men from believing, now that Guidance has come to
them, nor from praying for forgiveness from their Lord, but that (they ask that)
'sunnatu' (the ways) of the ancients be repeated with them, or the Wrath be brought to
them face to face?" Surah 18/55
"There can be no difficulty to the Prophet in what Allah has indicated to him as a
duty.
' 'sunnata' l-lahi' Sunnah of Allah That is the way (approved) of Allah
amongst those of old that have passed away. And the command of Allah is a decree
determined." Surah 33/38
"
'sunnata' l-lahi (Such is the) Way of Allah among those who lived aforetime:
No change wilt thou find 'lisunnati' 'l-lahi' (in the Way) of Allah." Surah 33/62
"On account of their arrogance in the land and their plotting of Evil, but the plotting of
Evil will hem in only the authors thereof. Now are they but looking for
'sunnata'
(the way) of the ancients were dealt with? But no change wilt thou find
128 | P a g e

'lisunnati' l-lahi (in the way) (of) Allah of dealing: no turning off wilt thou find
'lisunnati Allahi' in Allah's way (of dealing)." Surah 35/43
"But their professing the Faith when they (actually) saw Our Punishment was not going
to profit them.'sunnata' 'l-lahi' (Such is the Way) Allah's Way of dealing with His
Servants (from the most ancient times). And even thus did the Rejecters of Allah perish
(utterly)!" Surah 40/85
"
Sunnata Allahi (Such has been) the practice (approved) of Allah already in the
past: no change wilt thou find in
'lisunnati' 'Allahi' the practice (approved) of
Allah. " Surah 48/23
Where is this 'Sunnatu Rasoolillah which means 'Sunnah of Muhammad/Messenger'
that the Sunnis are referring to?
Allah mentions Sunnah throughout the entire Qur'an not one time does it connect to
Muhammad. The Qur'an mentions Hadith throughout the Qur'an and not one time
does it connects to Muhammad. There is a problem. The Quran is Fully Detailed,
Complete and it explains all things in terms of deen.

There are some Muslims who say that the Quran is

incomplete that is why we need Hadith and Sunnah
books
Allah says about the Quran:
We have revealed to you this book tib'ynan (as a clarification) likulli shayin (of
everything) wahudan (and a guidance) waramatan (and mercy) wabush'r
(and glad tidings) lil'mus'limna (for the Muslims). Sura 16/89
Tibyaan means to clarify something which requires clarification and explanation. Yet,
something which is inherently clear doesnt require elucidation, lest any excessive
explanations amount to curiosity and mere prattle for which we have no need
Allah revealed His Book with straightforward ayats in which is no scope for nonsense
or addition. For this reason, the Quran clears up what it has to clear up, and everything
that requires clarification and elucidation has been clarified and elucidated in the
Quran. And something which doesnt require elucidation is in no need to be
elucidated, especially in a Book whose verses have been detailed from a Most Wise,
Most Cognizant.
129 | P a g e

We have given them a scripture that is fully detailed, with knowledge, guidance, and
mercy for the people who believe." Sura 7/52
A.L.R. This is a scripture whose verses have been perfected, then elucidated. It comes
from a Most Wise, Most Cognizant. Sura 11/1
We have given them a scripture that is fully detailed, with knowledge, guidance, and
mercy for the people who believe." Sura 7/52
For this reason, trusting in Allahs Words, the believers who research and study the
whole Quran and who find it sufficient, they are the only ones who understand the
Quran. The Quran didnt leave anything out, and was brought down to clarify
everything, it came down with the details for everything we need. The Muslim who
believes in the Quran is in no hurry to accuse the Book of Allah with deficiency or
ambiguity making it in need of clarification, or that it came to us sketchy and thus its in
need of someone to give the details.
Thus, the one who believes in the Quran, believes Allahs assertion that He did not
leave anything out of the Quran and that it came down clarifying and detailing
everything.
And just so that no one manipulates the Qurans intended meaning with their evil
desires or bad intentions so that they say where is such and such a thing mentioned in
the Quran? they must grasp the concept of the Qurans logic before they are quick to
accusations.

Regarding this Allah says:

We thus explain the revelations for people who know. Sura 7/32
We thus explain the revelations for people who reflect. Sura 10/24)
We thus explain the revelations for people who understand. Sura 30/28
A scripture whose verses provide the complete details, in an Arabic Quran, for people
who know. Sura 41/3
Some Muslims say that we dont find a problem regarding the method for prayer or the
number of its units. If Allah who is The Knower of the past, future, and present! knew
that we would face a problem with regard to what traditionally has come to be known
as Salaat/prayer, then Allah would have made clear to us its method, the number of
prayers, and its times with detail.
130 | P a g e

However, He only brought down the Quran clarifying what we actually need in the
present and the future, He brought down the Quran with truth and with the law.
Allah is the One who sent down bil-aqi (the scripture), wal-mzna (and the
Balance) Sura 42/17
There is no scope for addition for which we have no need. Had the Quran been
revealed detailing for us the Salaat which some believe to mean prayer while we
already know what it is as the Ahlul Kitab have been practicing/establishing the
Salaat/commandments then that would have been somewhat flippant; and there is no
scope for flippancy in the Book of Allah.
Allah says:
By the sky that returns (the water). By the earth that cracks (to grow plants). This is a
serious narration. Not to be taken lightly. Sura 86/11-14

Now why would any Muslim question the assertions Allah gives about
His Book? As for those who dont know, they are the ones who challenge
the Qurans assertions, disbelieving its clarity and not believing that it
details everything; they say:
1: Where is the number of units of prayer mentioned in the Quran?
2: Where is the method for prayer mentioned in the Quran?
3: How should we perform the pilgrimage?
4: Where are the days of the week mentioned in the Quran?
Allah says about these people:
wa-alladhna (And those who) saaw (constantly challenge) f (against) ytin (our
revelations), mujizna (to cause failure) those for them adhbun (is a punishment)
min (of) rij'zin (foul nature) almun (painful). Sura 34/5
Allah refers to them in this ayat in the past tense, so what of the Muslims in the present?
Allah says:
wa-alladhna (And those who) yasawna (consistently challenge) f (against) ytin
(Our revelations), mujizna (to cause failure) those into adhbi (the punishment)
mu'arna (will be brought). Sura 34/38
131 | P a g e

So far it has been made clear that certain expressions for Prophet Muhammad.

Challenges disbelievers to produce a Surah like it (the

Qur'an)
Allah says,
"And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant, then
produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah , if you
should be truthful. But if you do not - and you will never be able to - then fear the Fire,
whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers. " Sura 2/23-24

The Qur'an confirms earlier revelations and

challenges disbelievers to produce a Surah like the
Qur'an:
"Now this Qur'an could not possibly have been devised by anyone save God: nay
indeed, it confirms the truth of whatever there still remains of earlier revelations and
clearly spells out the revelation-let there be no doubt about it-from the Sustainer of all
the worlds. Or do they say, "He invented it?" Say, "Then bring forth a surah like it and
call upon whomever you can besides Allah , if you should be truthful." Sura 10/37-38

Challenges us to reflect on the Qur'an had it been

from any other they would have found many
ikh'tilafan (contradictions) in it:
"Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an? If it had been from [any] other than Allah ,
they would have found within it much ikh'tilfan (contradiction)." Sura 4/82

Challenges us to understand the qawla (this word):

"Have they, then, never tried to understand qawla (this word)? Or has there come to
them something that never came to their forefathers of old?" Sura 23/68

Challenges us to ponder over the ayats:

"(It is) a Book We have revealed to you abounding in good that they may ponder over
its verses, and that those endowed with understanding may be mindful." Sura 38/29

132 | P a g e

"Will they not, then, ponder over this Quran? - or are there locks upon their hearts?"
Sura 47/24

Challenges those who said the Prophet Muhammad

invented it then produce ten Surahs like the Qur'an:
"Or do they say, "He invented it"? Say, "Then bring ten surahs like it that have been
invented and call upon [for assistance] whomever you can besides Allah , if you should
be truthful. And if they do not respond to you - then know that the Qur'an was revealed
with the knowledge of Allah and that there is no deity except Him. Then, would you
[not] be Muslims?" Sura 11/13-14

Challenges disbelievers to produce a Hadith like the

Qur'an:
"Let them produce biadthin (a hadith) like this, if they are truthful." Sura 52/34

If any book would be revealed to the mountains that would have the
mountains would be removed and the earth would be broken a part
along with the dead would be made to speak it would be the Qur'an:
"And if there was any qur'an by which the mountains would be removed or the earth
would be broken apart or the dead would be made to speak, but to Allah belongs the
affair entirely. Then have those who believed not accepted that had Allah willed, He
would have guided the people, all of them? And those who disbelieve do not cease to
be struck, for what they have done, by calamity - or it will descend near their home until there comes the promise of Allah . Indeed, Allah does not fail in [His] promise."
Sura 13/31

Recite the Qur'an at dawn that is always witnessed:

"So perform the regular prayers in the period from the time the sun is past its zenith till
the darkness of the night, and [recite] the Quran at dawn- dawn recitation is always
witnessed." Sura 17/78

If the sea was ink writing the words of Allah the sea
would be exhausted:

133 | P a g e

"Say, "If the sea were ink for [writing] the words of my Lord, the sea would be
exhausted before the words of my Lord were exhausted, even if We brought the like of
it as a supplement." Sura 18/109

Challenges others to bring a scripture from Allah that

could be more guiding than either the Qur'an or the
Tawrah:
"Say, "Then bring a scripture from Allah which is more guiding than either of them that
I may follow it, if you should be truthful. But if they do not respond to you - then know
that they only follow their [own] desires. And who is more astray than one who follows
his desire without guidance from Allah ? Indeed, Allah does not guide the wrongdoing
people." Sura 28/49-50

If the trees was pens and the sea was ink backed by
seven more seas the words of Allah would not be
exhausted:
"And if whatever trees upon the earth were pens and the sea [was ink], replenished
thereafter by seven [more] seas, the words of Allah would not be exhausted. Indeed,
Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise." Sura 31/27

If the Qur'an was sent to a mountain the mountain

would fall a part from fear of Allah:
"If We had sent down this Qur'an upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled
and coming apart from fear of Allah. And these examples We present to the people that
perhaps they will give thought." Sura 59/21

The History of Islam is divided among two major sects

the Shias and the Sunnis.
Prophet Muhammad was only a Prophet/Messenger sent with a message from Allah
and yet these two sects between the Sunnis and Shiites fabricated TWO SEPERATE sets
of hadith which they both claim is the authentic Hadith and Sunnah of Prophet
Muhammad.
However, when confronted about why do both sects reject each others authentic
Hadith which set they accept as the true authentic Hadith and Sunnah for their sect
134 | P a g e

none of them are able to provide a clear response. They claim they dont reject Hadith
but they do and this is proven clearly because the Sunnis rejects the Shites authentic
Hadith and Sunnah books and the Shites rejects the Sunnis authentic Hadith and
Sunnah books.

The fallacy behind this is very obvious because for as

the facts are:
1. Prophet Muhammad just ONE man so how can they have two separate sets of
Hadith and Sunnah books that give a contradicting history?
2. And Allah has condemned hadith by name in the Quran

The ACID TEST PUTTING THIS ON THE CHOPPING

BLOCK
Allah says:
"Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an? If it had been from [any] other than Allah ,
they would have found within it much ikh'tilfan (contradiction)." Sura 4/82

Three simple questions for those tales of the

Ancients, Hadith:
1) Does Hadith provide the historical circumstances of each and every verse of the
Quran?
2) Is there only one consistent set of data available for this?
3) Does the whole Muslim Ummah have an un errant source for this material or does
every sect have its own version of "Asbaab ul nuzzul"?
The Mother of the 'book' (Umm-ul-Kitab) is the master source which is within Allah's
presence. It is the original source and foundation from which all scriptures and
revelations from Allah emanate including the Quran.

139 | P a g e

Allah eliminates what He wills and confirms what He pleases: with Him is the Mother
of the Book (Umm ul-Kitab) Sura 13/39
By the Book that makes things clear. Indeed, We have made it a Quran in Arabic, that
ye may be able to understand. And indeed, it is in the Mother of the Book (Umm-ulKitab), in our presence (Arabic: Ladayna), high (in dignity), full of wisdom Sura 43/2-4
The Umm-ul-Kitab is a source in the presence of Allah and is also referred to as the
Luh-e-Mahfuz (Guarded tablet) which is fully guarded and protected
Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, (Inscribed) in a Tablet Guarded / Protected (Luh-eMahfuz) Sura 85/21-22

There are only two methods as to how the Quran has

reached us today:
(1) One method of preservation which is depicted by unreliable Ahadith reports
collected centuries later but depicting a period centuries earlier.
(2) Or by a foolproof system protected by Allah (15:9; 85:21) which could include a
manner of processes such as:
An oral tradition aided by perpetual memory recitation and preserved in written form
by set scribes during the time of the Prophet in Sura 80/13-16; 68/1; 96/1-5; 98/2-3;
25/5) and immediately afterwards. We even have Quran memorisers today known as
Huffuz and are aware of some very early complete Qurans.
By restricting the development of Islamic secondary sources so the Quran remained the
sole source of guidance for the earliest Muslim communities. Ahadith only took canon
centuries later and were never attested and written down by either the Prophet or any
of his immediate companions which have reached us today.

Yet, through their Tales of the Ancients Hadith they

want us to believe that the Qur'an is protected when
we are told in their Hadith:
1) That verses were missing and a goat ate the stoning verse with regards to adultery
2) That the Prophet of Allah introduced the Satanic verses
3) That Caliph Uthman burnt the extant copies of the Quran
140 | P a g e

4) That there was a missing suckling verse (Ten clear sucklings which made the
marriage unlawful, then it was later abrogated (and substituted) by five sucklings and
then was somehow removed or missed from the Quran altogether
5) That there was a missing Ibn Adam verse (regarding Ibn Adam's possession of a
wadi of property)
6) That there was a missing 'pleasing' verse from the Quran (regarding those that were
slain at Bi'r Mauna which included the verse "Inform our tribe on our behalf that we
have met with our Lord. He has been well pleased with us and has satisfied our desires)
7) And many others, from al-Baraa, verses that were lost with dead Muslims, cancelled
and repealed verses and those forgotten by the Prophet himself and those lost by
Quranic reciters.

Does the Quran make such fanciful claims or even

hint to it?
No.
Is one really led to believe that the information of the Quran's preservation would be
left to the protection of those historians and compilers that give us the 'Satanic Verses'
(Ibn Saad via Al Waqidi) or by compilers that refer to individuals that tell us amongst
other things:
1) That that Prophet made love to all his wives in one night
2) How the Prophet fondled his wives during their menses
3) That Satan passes wind (flatulence) during Adhan
4) That the Prophet forgot his surahs
5) That the Prophet ordered dogs to be killed
6) That Satan urinates in one's ears
7) That the Prophet was confused about sexual relations with his wives under the
influence of magic
8) The Prophet allowed to burn people with fire
9) That the Prophet allowed the killing of women and children in war
141 | P a g e

and the last and final

1) That Moses slapped the angel of death
