The main core of politics takes place when the idea of a perfect world vanishes.

This
means that in order to survive there are no guarantees considered and this means
that each state must maintain its own security and try to have a power that in one
side enable it to become secured and in the other side to make it have a superiority
over other states and to shift from a protect-seeking state to a threatening state
because this is the main guarantee.
In a realist world there is no balance in power and this means that each country has
to take a position and to behave according to it and whether it is a leader in the
world or a follower this things can be decided according to its share in the
distribution of powers, resources and wealth in the world where nations with higher
wealth can generate more power than countries with lesser wealth.
From the above we understand that cooperation is just an illusion where we can see
it only in places where interests intersects and this forms a big struggle in the world
since international institutions are calling for something and promising many things
at the time what they call for and what they promise are totally false matters since
they already know that these things are not related in any mean to reality.
The main argument here focuses on collective security where it is just an
assumption since it is calling the powers to unite against an aggressor but let us say
that such thing may take place and collective security can be maintained then it is
enough to consider security in a union state among all nations then there will be no
need for it because an aggressor might not be an alien and might not be someone
from somewhere else and then whenever these powers agree on something then
this agreement would be the main guarantee; but for how long this agreement will
last because each agreement is a result of interests that took place in a certain time

and place and whenever the conditions for that agreement are over then the
agreement will be terminated and we will again start from the same place it
stopped.
The other theory like the critical theory and the liberalism are also argumentative
because international peace is not something easy to achieve and making the
whole world liberal is something very hard because in many cases the greed of
some rulers and some countries intersects with ambitions of people and for the
international peace it is way far from being achieved because we are in a time
where struggles are fed and not fought.
