STRATEGICALLY, THE INFAMOUS REPUBLICAN GOVERNORS CHOSE WELL

WHEN THEY SELECTED THE TEXAS CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN
APPOINTED JUDGE. WHY? BECAUSE THEY SPECULATED HE WOULD RULE IN
THEIR FAVOR, AND HE DID, TWICE. THEY ALSO KNEW THAT THE
FOLLOWING STEP WOULD BE THE 5TH CIRCUIT FEDERAL COURT OF
APPEALS, THE MOST CONSERVATIVE IN THE COUNTRY, WHERE ALREADY A
REPUBLICAN DOMINATED PANEL OF 2 TO 1, RECENTLY RULED
UNFAVORABLY AGAINST THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT AND THE PEOPLE.
THAT MEANS A TOTAL OF THREE LOSES FOR THE PEOPLES LAWYERS.
THE NEXT BATTLE IS IN THE FULL 5TH CIRCUIT COURT ON JULY 10 AND A
DECISION BY THIS BODY IS SCHEDULED FOR JULY 16, 2015. ONCE AGAIN,
THIS, THE MOST CONSERVATIVE APPEALS COURT IN THE COUNTRY, IS ALSO
DOMINATED BY THE ULTRA RIGHT. IF WE LOSE HERE, THE NEXT STEP WILL
BE THE SUPREME COURT WHICH, AS WE KNOW, IS ALSO DOMINATED BY A 54 CONSERVATIVE MAJORITY. HOWEVER JUDGE ANTHONY KENNEDY IS SEEN
AS A POTENTIAL DISSENT FOR THE APPEAL AND, A LONG SHOT, JUDGE
ROBERTS COULD ALSO DECIDE IN FAVOR OF THE APPEAL.

WHAT THIS MEANS IS, IF WE LOSE IN NEW ORLEANS, PRESIDENT OBAMAS

ADMINISTRATION WILL APPEAL TO THE SUPREME COURT, BUT IT WONT BE
DECIDED UNTIL EARLY OR LATE JUNE 2016 ALONG WITH DOZENS OF OTHER
CASES. DO YOU GET THE WHIFF?

A HUGE MASS POPULAR PRESSURE CAN PUSH THE FEDERAL COURT FOR A
FAVORABLE DECISION AND SAVE THE 5 MILLION PEOPLE IMMIGRATION
RELIEF.
The CA Millions of Voices Coalition members met on Friday at the historic
Epiphany Church in Lincoln Heights and agenda topics approved were:

1. First Major Press Conference to be held on Thursday 17 June 2015

at 11:00 AM in front of LA Federal Court. At this media event, the coalition will
announce its plans for a California March in Los Angeles for DAPA-DACA
th
Executive Action now stuck and held hostage in the 5 Circuit Appeals Court by
conservative dominated judges and a lawsuit brought on by 26 ultra conservative
Republican governors and signed on by Republican Congressmen. The Coalition
will introduce to the press and the community the Coalition members, endorsers,
organizers, personalities and cities organizing for the July 4 March. The march
th
coincides with the next hearing where the full 5 Circuit Federal Court will hear
the appeal arguments by the lawyers of the Justice Department and the objective
is to build and take popular political pressure to push the court to decide in favor
of the appeal.

2. Approved a proposal for Civil Disobedience and closing of the

LA Federal Court and Spring St. in the heart of the Civic Center, on the morning

of July 10, to coincide with the 5 Circuit hearings in New Orleans on the same
day.
3. Additionally,

Hermandad Mexicana TransNacional, a large

multistate immigrant grass roots member organization, and a key member
of the Millions of Voices Coalition, will be sending a 10 member a delegation to
th
New Orleans to be at the 5 Circuit appeal hearing against the Republican
Lawsuit and petitioned by the Justice Department on behalf of the people.
Moreover thousands of reform activists and leaders from all over the nation will
congregate, inundate and push the court for a favorable decision for the
estimated 5 million Executive Action beneficiaries for immigration relief.
A peak. For the Press Conference, the plan is to have 100 people with a
majority of all Coalition leaders IN front of the Federal Court on Spring St.,
as the ideal visual political backdrop.
