Emergency Fund (EF)


This shall depend on the agreed amount by the members on a
Weekly/monthly/production cycle amortization payment.
Operational Fund (OF)
This amount shall be equal to 10% of the
Weekly/monthly/production cycle amortization payment by the
members for his loan. Actual amount may be higher or lower than
10% depending on the SKAs agreement.

By its mandatory nature ,failure on the part of the individual member or


the SKA to comply shall constitute a grave breach of discipline and
agreement and shall be penalized .Penalties shall be identified by the
SKA prior to the commencement of its operations.
Except for the Operational Fund, which shall be the fund source for the
Operational expenses of the SKA ,the Capital Build-up (CBU) and the
Emergency Fund (EF) shall form part of the money of the SKA. Future
loans can be made from these funds based on mutually agreed upon
terms by the members themselves.
If Any member leaves the SKA for whatever reason/s , s/he shall be
entitled to receive in the full the savings s/he has accumulated in the CBU
and EF provided that s/he has settled all his obligations and commitment
wherefore ,all amount due from him/her shall be entitled to received
whatever balance that may be left after these deductions.
The SKA shall agree to raise additional funds to cover expenses not
related to their livelihood project such as: emergency situation,
community project, etc

IV. FINES AND SUNCTIONS


Sec.17 The following shall be considered breach of discipline;
17.1 Tardiness and absenteeism in weekly/monthly meeting and
assemblies;
17.2 Irregularity in weekly/monthly/production cycle payments of
amortization in terms of underpayments and non-payments
17.3 Deviation in the utilization of loan money;
17.4 Non-utilization of loan money within the required time limit of
one day to one week.
