Introduction:

Often you require maintaining certain transactions which calls customizing table in the
live production system.

For example:-

1) Maintain exchange rates

2) Opening and closing the period

3) Maintain overhead rates

4) Maintain assessment cycle in cost center accounting and profitability analysis.

These transactions actually require to be maintained every month or every year and as
such are needless to be transported from the development system every time.

But a live production system is a non modifiable client and is not open for customizing.

Then how do you go about maintaining the aforesaid transactions which requires to be
maintained directly in the production system?

In this material we demonstrate what requires to be done so that the transactions can
be directly maintained in the production system.

open for customizing. All customizing will be done in the development system and
transported to quality system and then to production system.

The IMG activity object SIMG_ORKK_WERK_KZM2 needs to be updated in the table

CUSAMEN in SE16

This should be updated in the development system and the table entry transported to
the production system.
