Compared to conventional coating operations, autodeposition

requires significantly less manpower and equipment less
cycle time, energy, part rework, handling, packaging, and
transportation
is self-limiting cannot be over applied
provides uniform coating thickness on all part surfaces,
including edges and complex shapes
The AquenceTM Autophoretic 866 coating can positively
impact your entire manufacturing process. The absence of
electric current from the coating application process, shorter
process cycle time, and low curing temperature of the coating
result in lower energy consumption. The low pH environment
of the coating bath discourages bacterial growth, and the
absence of metal phosphating reduces time and expense in
chemical maintenance and waste treatment. Coating totally
assembled parts with AquenceTM Autophoretic 866 reduces
manufacturing process cycle time, work-in-process inventory,
logistics for in-process transport, and labor for material handling.

** Temperature resistance of ACC 866 Series Coating is dependent
upon duration of temperature exposure and other environmental
conditions (such as air flow and presence of moisture). Lifecycle testing
for parts that will be exposed to temperatures above 200F or 90C is
recommended.

Application Equipment: Autodeposition Coatings are applied

with common industrial cleaning methods followed by a 3-step
immersion coating process using hoist or conveyor systems.
Bake: The typical bake for ACC 866 is a single-zone oven at
20 minutes at 210F-220F (100C-110C) metal temperature.
VOC: The Calculated Value minus water is Zero based on U.S.
EPA Method 24. There are no co-solvents added to the ACC
866 coating during production.
Hazardous Air Pollutants: None.
Hazardous Heavy Metals: None in coating or process
chemistry.
