About SEWC

Congress Venue

The 5th Structural Engineers World Congress (SEWC) will be

held in Singapore, a city which is renowned for its iconic
infrastructure and buildings. The Congress aims to cover major
aspects pertaining to technical and professional practice issues
and focuses on the needs and contemporary issues of the
structural engineering profession worldwide. SEWC 2015
presents excellent opportunities for professionals to interact
with each other and to learn more about what is happening in
the World of Structural Engineering.

The Raffles City Convention Centre (RCCC) is strategically

located in the heart of the central financial, cultural, and
shopping district in Singapore. Located above the City Hall MRT
station, it is easily accessible by multiple public transportation
services. The convention centre is flanked by two adjoining
hotels, Fairmont Singapore and Swisstel the Stamford, and it is
also connected to the Raffles City Shopping Centre. With that,
there is no place better suited to host the 5th Structural
Engineers World Congress.

Call for Papers

All paper submissions will be handled electronically via EDAS (http://edas.info) Details on submissions can be found on the congress
website. Abstracts submitted should be written in good English and no more than 200 words. Papers on the following topics are
