regarding such things as course booking problems, student/vendors issues and general email
questions can be handled without immediate consultant/coordinator assistance.

Responsible for the administration of a portfolio of courses, sessions, e-learning activities.
Generate and review IMAGIS reports to monitor course/session activity
Responsible for key coordination, consultation and administration functions in relation to the
delivery of assigned courses and other learning activities of an assigned portfolio containing
courses and sessions. The courses offered range in class size from six students to as large a 600
participants for a special event. The class variety class goes from a limited session to a special
event offered to many.
Major responsibilities include: assisting in the administration of assigned courses and other
learning activities,·ensuring data is timely and accurate so contract charges can be recovered,
ministries are kept informed of training costs and opportunities, and vendors, CHR Training
Consultants and ministry contacts are provided with up-to-date information about course and
enrollment status. Being attentive to details is a very important element of this position.

staff, boards, agencies as well as our internal trainer and external vendors. Our courses are
offered throughout all of Alberta.

Registering staff for conferences and/or courses, entering of conference information in a Access
database, administer for the Department Learning Account by verifying that proper procedures
are being followed i.e.: status of the employee using the IMAGIS HR system. Entering of
Learning Accounts in an Excel spreadsheet, Update training profiles in IMAGIS, process
payments using the IMAGIS Finance System.
Receiving and handling all incoming calls for the division (7-line meridian).
Strong record management skills including system generation, indexing, coding, cross
referencing, revising file series, generating and maintaining central file classification manuals
and inventorying divisional records for storage or destruction.
