Hilton Worldwide is an American global
company owned by an American private
equity firm. Hilton brands encompass 4,112
hotels with over 680,117 rooms in 91
countries and was also ranked as the 38th
largest privately held company in the United
States by Forbes, prior to their December
2013.
The primary objective of this project is to
facilitate hotel operators in improving guest
recognition at check-in and provide enhanced
levels of service. It integrates all the primary
functions of a hotel, including front office,
housekeeping, accounting, finance, human
resources, night audit, groups and packages,
revenue management, as well as forecast
management.
This project is divided into various portfolios,
each portfolio handles one of the modules of
the project. The individual teams are
responsible for managing the work related to
their respective application.

Description

This was the training provided to the Freshers


by TCS in order to cultivate our technical
skills. It aims to provide the knowledge of a
particular technology to the associate and to
increase an individuals ability to work in an
organization. Initially we were educated in the
training program and after that in teams we
were asked to make a project.
The project was regarding the online ordering
system of books that helps in removing the
manual process that was previously being
followed.
