Executive Summary
Ziziwa Sdn Bhd. is established to promote go green concept to businesses and helping
outdoor event organizer bringing conducive environment to their event participants by using
our product which is humidifying equipment, the Mist Maker.
Our business model is based on four crucial elements core strategy, strategic resources, key
partners, and customer interface.
Our core strategy is encouraging the businesses like restaurants, shop outlets or any business
premises to install our humidifying equipment instead of air-conditioner. Our Mist Maker is
based on the concept of pressurizing the water molecule through a hair-strand size nozzle,
turning the water molecule into fine mist. The heat from the surrounding would cause the
mist to vaporized which in turn, convert surrounding hot air into cool humid air similar to
that of a rainy day, in this case without getting wet. It does not release any air pollutant like
air-conditioner. So we believe it is a good replacement for the air-conditioner. It comes with
different type of materials which are nylon, brass and stainless and the nozzle has different
sizes which customer can choose base on their needs. Other than that, our Mist maker can be
use as decoration for their house like gates or gardens which we will combine LED light with
our mist maker to create a perfect lighting effect combination.
Event organizer can now conduct any outdoor activities or events under hot sun without any
worries. Participants do not worry their beautifully dressed attired to be drenched wet due to
continuously sweating as our Mist Maker can turn the hot surrounding environment into cool
humid air like rainy day without getting wet.
We have established a good relationship with our supplier from China that supplies this Mist
Maker to several countries and we get the sole distributing right in Malaysia from our
supplier. Our supplier has also agree to manufacture any spare parts for Mist Maker which
demanded by our customer from old model to new model. Therefore, customer is alleviated
from the problem of looking for spare parts of their mist maker model.
With a group of well-trained technicians, we will provide the installation, monthly
maintenance for the customer and brief the customer on all the features of our products from
servicing to cleaning of the Mist Maker equipment. To ensure customer satisfaction, we
provide at least a year of warranty for the Mist Maker, including the spare parts with warranty
extension options.
Our target market is mainly on restaurants or business premises that wish to go for green
concept or lowering their cost in the long run and any outdoor event that wish to provide a
perfect and comfortable experiences to their event participants. Due to hot weather in
Malaysia, we believe our humidifying equipment able to bring customers a cool humid air
environment that they would like very much and at the same time protecting our mother
earth.

1. Core Strategy
1.1. Mission Statement
1.1.1.

To promote and bring green concept into businesses


In todays trend, one of the concepts that people are following is go green
concept. As people are becoming more concern about our mother earth,
they would do their best to save the planet. One of the ways to save the
planet is to reduce the usage of air-conditioner as air-conditioner produces
carbon and is a major contributor to global warming. By using the
Humidifying Equipment (Mist Maker) as the replacement, it helps to
reduce such gases and most importantly it can bring green concept into
businesses.

To help businesses lower down their operating cost


Many businesses such as restaurant drive-thru Starbucks, caf and so on
mostly will install air-conditioners in their shops or outlets especially
under hot weather in Malaysia, hence their operating cost will be
expensive in the long run which reflect in their electric bills. To reduce
such cost, installing Humidifying Equipment (Mist Maker) would be an
appropriate way, as it helps not only to convert the surrounding hot air into
cool humid air similar to that of a rainy day in that particular shops or
outlets but also helps to reduce the operating cost because it does not
consume much electricity like air-conditioner. Thus, profit for the
businesses would be higher in the long run.

To facilitate event organizer in providing humid and comfortable

environment under hot weather


As one of the business companies, we would like to provide a product that
can helps to make the event conducted by any parties better and give full
satisfaction to the participant of any events. Providing superior product
like the Humidifying Equipment, the Mist Maker helps to make the event
better as overcrowded places would cause the particular area to be heat up
due to poor air circulation in the area. By using our Humidifying
Equipment, it helps to convert the hot dry air in the area into cool humid
air which the crowd could feel refresh and comfortable. Participant would

not felt hot and sweat much which drenched their attire. Instead of
installing the spinning fan in any open-air event, event organizer can now
choose to install a pollutant-free mist maker that serve better than the
conventional spinning fan. We provide renting services for our products
together with a group of well-trained technicians that will help to install
the mist maker.
1.2. Product/Market Scope
1.2.1.

Humidifying Equipment (Mist Maker)


Humidifying Equipment is also known as the Mist Maker. It is equipment
that will spray mist to cool down the temperature in the covered area. The
water molecule is highly pressurized, turning into very fine mist which can
humidify the environment. It is best used in the outdoor events like food
carnivals, station games, fun fair, funeral and playground and so on. This is
because these outdoor events unable to install air-conditioners and it only
last for few days ,therefore Mist Maker is a good replacement to the airconditioners which helps to humidify the environment similar to raining
day and people will feel refresh at the meantime. This Humidifying
Equipment is a must to install in places like Bird Nest House and best
recommended to install in stadium (e.g. Stadium Bukit Jalil), open-air
shopping mall (e.g. Sunway Giza and Citta Mall), household decoration
(e.g. garden and courtyard), open-air restaurant (mamak stall e.g
Restaurant BRJ, Restaurant Sri Pelita) or for farmers to set up in their farm
that will spray the water into their crops with timer set. Since the nozzle
come with different size, the user can use different size of nozzle to
produce different size of water droplet base on their needs.
Other than outdoor events, businesses like restaurants can also install this
mist maker instead of air-conditioner. The equipment can be adjusted so
that the pressure is high enough to make the water molecule turn into very
fine mist which does not cause the floor to wet and at the same time it able
to reduce the temperature of the room by few degrees Celsius. Even
though it is not as cold as air-conditioner can do, but it enough to make the

customer or people inside the room not to felt hot and sweat. The
environment will be same as rainy day.
1.2.2.

Renting Services
For those who have capital problems, they may consider to rent our
humidifying equipment at reasonable price charged by us but it is
advisable to purchase the whole set of equipment as renting for the long
run is more costly than purchasing. However, for those event that
conducted for temporary then it is wise to rent our products. Our renting
services will be provided together with the installation services from our
well-trained technicians.

1.2.3.

Other services : Providing maintenance


Besides selling or renting our products, providing maintenance is one of
the scopes that were focusing. As the Mist Maker sometimes will arise
some problems, one of them is blockage in the nozzle where it blocks the
water to be sprayed due to any sediment in the water hence providing
maintenance to this product can bring alleviations to our clients and
customers. This service for maintenance will be provided monthly by
follow up call.

1.2.4.

Other services : Providing all the spare parts


If our clients and customers facing spare parts problem, do not worry as
we do provide such services. Spare parts of Mist Maker might be difficult
to be found in the market but we do have these spare parts from old model
to new model provide for our clients and customers in case of any
inconveniences.
The difference between providing maintenance and spare parts is monthly
maintenance which we will helps clients and customers to check whether
their Mist Maker is still functioning or not after they make a booking with
us, whereas providing spare parts is basically after the monthly
maintenance if there is a problem occurs such as the blockage or
breakdown of the pipe or nozzle, we will provide a new spare parts but
condition must be in warranty and it is not human made mistakes. Besides
that, we will help the clients to clean and clear the blockage for the first

time and teach the clients how to do it, subsequently they will do it by their
own as it is quite simple to be comprehended by most people. If customers
insist on want us to do the cleaning then we will do for it but they have to
make a booking with us. In addition, we provide at least 1 year warranty
for our Humidifying Equipment, the Mist Maker for our clients and
customers.
1.3. Basis for Differentiation
1.3.1.

Differentiation Focus
There is a previous founder of the Humidifying Equipment in Malaysia,
Mr.Maju operating his company name as Maju Jaya. This company
provides only Humidifying Equipment to clients and customers same as us
but they do not provide any after sales services such as monthly
maintenance and spare parts replacement. This has become a problem to
customers and clients that they are not able to solve the problems in their
Humidifying Equipment such as the blockage in the pipe or nozzle,
therefore it discourages them to purchase Humidifying Equipment but to
choose for air-conditioner or fans. At the same time, our competitor, Maju
Jaya does not provide any extension of warranty and any part of the Mist
maker is breakdown, the customers have to change the whole set of Mist
maker equipment.
To differentiate our services from our competitor, we do provide such
services as in monthly maintenance to avoid customers and clients been
irritated from the blockage in the pipe. Meanwhile, if one of the parts in the
Humidifying Equipment has not functioning as it used to be, we will
provide the spare parts for free if it is under warranty and charged them
with reasonable price base on the spare parts if it over warranty periods.
Fortunately, we do have all the spare parts from old model to new model
and our supplier will provide any spare parts base on the demand from
customers so customer would not have to worry about the troublesome of
finding spare part replacements.
Meanwhile, warranty is a must to our Humidifying Equipment. We will
provide one year warranty for all parts of our product as the spare parts of

our product will only be found in our company. In term of warranty,
customers and clients can choose to extend the warranty of their
Humidifying Equipment more than one year but there will be a minimum
charge.
With a completely new concept from our competitor, we do combine the
features of the Mist maker with the LED light which come in different
colours. LED light will be set up near the nozzle where the mist being
sprayed out and it will cause the mist to be lightened by different colour
emitted from the LED light. The LED light could be switch off during day
and switch on during night. It is perfectly ideal for those who want to
decorate their house gate, gardens and so on. Therefore, our mist maker not
only use as replacement for air-conditioner or fans but also can be used as
decoration by customize own favorite design that suit their taste.

2. Strategic Resources
2.1. Core Competences
2.1.1.

We are proud to say that we have all the spare parts in our store. In

other words, we do have all the machine and the nozzle of mist makers
back up in our own store from old model to the latest model. Even it is out
of stock, our supplier could supply us the spare parts base on demands.
This is one of the advantages that our supplier gave us which any spare
parts can be produced by them. At any time, customers and clients can
contact us if their Humidifying Equipment (Mist Maker) has any problem;
we will send our well-trained technician to their house or shop to provide a
free checkup on the equipment and at the same time will be providing the
spare parts to them if it is under warranty. It helps them to save time to
search for the spare parts and finding any trusted or well-trained technician
to provide them services.
2.1.2. Our supplier is an Asia Distributor from China that could provide us a
very low cost inventory since the supplier produce in bulks and supplies to
many countries like Thailand, Singapore, Philippine and Indonesia. We
manage to get connected to and have a very good relationship with the
supplier which can help our business growth in future. In Malaysia, we are
the first company that will get the inventory from them and we get the sole
right from our supplier to distribute in Malaysia. Our supplier is willing to
produce any product that our customers and clients are looking for hence
we are proud to say that customers and clients do not need to worry about
the spare parts in the Humidifying Equipment are difficult to be found
elsewhere.
2.1.3. We do provide small, light and easily moveable mist maker especially
for plants that are in the house. The small portable mist maker is newly
designed and produced by our supplier which our competitor does not
have. In the market, our competitor does not provide small and portable
mist maker as most of their equipment is for permanent installation in the
shops or restaurants. Customer can move their small mist maker easily.
Some customers need to ensure that their plants are placed in the
atmosphere that are moisture all the time, therefore, they are also need a

mist maker that can work long hour and require lesser maintenance.
Without continuously watering their plants, they could set the timer which
the Mist maker will do the job for them. On top of that, it could
continuously operate for 1000 hours. (e.g. cactus)
2.2. Strategic Assets
2.2.1.

Our mist maker is ensured that no water drop is forms in the process

that resulted in inconvenience to our customers or users. We have the


smallest nozzle point of 0.06 orifices (1.524mm), the size smaller than a
strand of hair. With such a high pressure water flow and spraying through a
small point, it changes the molecular structure of the water, turning it into
a very fine mist spraying of mist will be immediately dried up by the hot
dry air causing a Flash Evaporation effect which in turn, convert
surrounding hot air into cool humid air similar to that of a rainy day, in this
case without getting wet. By producing the smallest nozzle, water can be
ensuring it is small enough to evaporate before reaches on the floor which
resulted in slippery floor and injury.
2.2.2. We have a group of well-trained technician to serve our customers and
to provide after sales service such as monthly maintenance. Our welltrained technician will brief and educate our customers and clients
everything regarding our product, hence they can fully utilize our product
in a more effective and even in creative ways. At the meantime, our
customers will be taught on how to clean and service their mist maker
equipment in the way that save their time from waiting for our technician
to help them.

3. Partnership Network
3.1. Suppliers
3.1.1.

Our supplier is from China, TaiZhou. Company name is ZhenXing

Humidifying Equipment Co. Ltd. Currently his business has covered


several countries like Thailand, Singapore, Philippine, Indonesia and etc.
This indicates that our supplier brands is strong and have a good quality of
their product. Reason we will pick this supplier is because they willing to
provide any equipment that our customer are looking for and design the
product according to what the customer need. Our supplier is willing to
supply us with the products because they faced language difficulties in
targeting our country and some Asia country. Language is the largest
challenge for our supplier especially English and Malay. Therefore we are
here to fill in the gap between our supplier and his targeted market.
Product that we will get from our supplier including oil-free pump, oil-free
mist maker, misting accessories and etc.

3.2. Other Key Relationship
3.2.1.

Event Planning Company


For the renting service, we will cooperate with some event planning
company like Alternative Platform Sdn Bhd. Those events planning
company will help their customer to plan their event and set up everything
for their customer and by cooperating with the event planning company,
they will be using our Mist maker as part of the decoration or to humidify
the air which the event is under hot sun. Example of the event that we
targeting for are carnival, family day, sports day carnival, road show, live
entertainment services like concert, live brand and etc.

3.2.2.

Dealer
We will cooperate with local dealer to promote our product. We will focus
more on attending event and like Mid Valley or KLCC exhibition business
talk to increase the awareness of our product in the market.
1st sale will be order and deal with our dealer. Further maintenance and
settlement, customer can deal with us directly. Reason we will work with

dealer is because we are new to this market and market awareness toward
our product are extremely low. Therefore we need agent to promote our
product and help us in positioning our product.

Besides that, customer can also be our partner. We will have a profit
sharing with our customers if they able to bring us new customer.

4. Customer Interface
4.1. Target Market
4.1.1.

Geographical segmentation
Our company, Ziziwa will be located in Kuala Lumpur/ Klang Valley city
which is very convenient in reaching our clients. Our strategic location helping
us focuses on our main targeted region Peninsular Malaysia that have hot
climate zones in which a lot high rise building that are trapping the heat and
with lesser tree due to housing development. Our products are effectively
lower the surrounding temperature for few degree Celsius of a building and
also humidifying the air surrounding. Our main target is open-air event which
conducted under hot sun and overcrowded people as these events are the most
need for our mist maker. Recently there are many new constructed shopping
mall which are open-aired and could also be our target market, those welldeveloped shopping mall are Sunway Giza mall and One City Mall. They can
install our products and system to improve their open air concept. Our next
targeted clients are harvesting typed businesses such as edible bird nest and
garden farmer which may not located in the city. Edible bird nest harvesting is
vital to depend on humidity of the house for suiting the swallows live within it
and producing such edible bird nest for the business. Therefore they need our
products and system to keep humidifying the bird nest house. Our products
can also help garden farmer to watering their plants. Farmer can also pour
small amount of pesticide in the container of watering system to make their
work easier on watering and pesticide. Besides, timer setting also can keep the
system watering the plant periodically on time and keep them moisture.
Open air restaurant and mamak stalls are suitable to use our system to cooling
down the surrounding temperature, those restaurants we might target are

Stevens Corner, Restaurant BRJ, Beach Club Caf and others. Education
building such as Universiti Malaya and Tunku Abdul Rahman Kolej Universiti
can use our products in those areas without air conditioned such as canteens,
hallway, bus station and garden. Public buildings such as stadium (e.g.
Stadium Bukit Jalil), should install our products, since Stadium Bukit Jalil
conduct a lot of live band concert which are over-crowded. We will ensuring
the mist maker working effectively and evaporate immediately to avoid
slippery floor.
4.1.2.

Psychographic Segmentation
Base on psychographic segmentation, we will target those people that
advocate or support the go green concept and more and more people is moving
to a more go green concept in many aspects. Our main concept is to go green
in our lifestyle and our direction is toward protecting environment and mother
earth. Mist maker does not produce any air pollutant or anything that harm the
environment so that it is advisable for anyone to install the system even install
in the house. By installing mist maker in indoor area, the customer can
increase the pumping pressure to increase to certain level that the mist droplet
become as small as possible that it does not cause the floor to become slippery
or causing other thing in the house to become wet such as sofa. The mist will
be evaporized in the air and causing the cold air on the higher level to move
down to the floor as cold air is denser than hot air whereas the hot air will flow
up and being cold off by the mist again and the cycle continue until the
temperature drop for few degree Celsius. Therefore it is suitable for restaurant
that previously using air-conditioner to change to our humidifying equipment
if they would like to lowering their cost and wish to choose for go green
concept.

4.2. Fulfillment/Support
4.2.1.

Place and Service


Our company, Ziziwa will be located in Kuala Lumpur/ Klang Valley city
which is very convenient place in reaching our clients. We provide

brief explanation to client when installing the system, teaching clients how
to taking care and keep the system functioning well. If the nozzles are not
spraying normally, it is needed to be wash by nozzle cleaner by soak them
into the cleaner for 2 hours and rinse them with water. If clients intend to
make self-installation, we will provide installation guidelines for them.
However if any issues due to self-installation, we are not responsible for
the functioning services. Furthermore, we are also providing rental
services which customer can rent products for short period use such as
outdoor event like circus, opening ceremonies, corporate functions, sport
days, family days, carnival, road show, live entertainment services like
concert, live brand and numerous other events. Example of our target
events are such as birthday party, marathon, One-FM outdoor activity, 8TV
family circus and others.
4.2.2.

Promotion
As part of our commitment to corporate social responsibility, our company,
Ziziwa will contribute 10 percent of our profit in associate with local and
global organisations to promote awareness toward protection our mother
earth. We will organize activity like Save the Rainforest by educate the
public on how to recycle and reuse everything we can such as newspapers,
cans, glass bottles, scrap metal, aluminium foil and etc. Go green concept
will result in improving of human well-being and conserving the
environment, while they learnt the way to save the nature and our mother
earth. Besides that, the public able to aware of the global warming issues
and understand the importance of preserve and conserve the forest for
future generations. Therefore, it also gradually help to reduces
environmental pollution such as lower down the amount of pollutant
released into the air. By doing some of these activities, our company will
be able to gain free publicities from the local news media like newspaper
which will strengthen our company reputation in the market.

We will promote our business at trade shows and exhibitions by attending


trade shows and exhibitions as much as possible because it is one of the
effective methods to promote our products and services to the public and
extend our networking with other industry and also growing our customer
base. In a trade show we able to demonstrate our products functioning
process and explain how the system are running and spraying mist to
cooling down temperature in the surrounding. Therefore they can be an
effective method to advertise our products to our target market and also
create our brand awareness. Exhibitions sometimes are opened largely that
is providing more opportunity for us to approach to business to business
trading. Therefore it is a perfect platform for us to promote our products
and services to broader areas that they may have no knowledge about our
products and services.

Customers or clients can contact us by our contact number or access to our
company website to look for more information about us, our products and
services we provided to public. Follow by setting appointment with us or
customer can directly meet with us for further discussion. Besides, clients
could make online registration by submitting the enquiry form and send us
your request via our company website so that we able to contact each other
via email or phone call. Clients also able to make payment through online
banking and they can always access to our website to get all the latest
model and new information about our products.

4.2.4.

Customer Service
We are very confidence on our products and services, and also concern on
our clients needs. Majority of our products are warranty for 1 year, if
products not functioning well feel free to contact us, we will provide
maintenance and replacement if needed. The maintenance and replacement
cost is free within a year. Do not worry about the costly replacement
because we have massive spare part so that the fees will be reasonable and
not expensive. Installation fees will be charge because we hired

professional technicians which will ensure the whole system installation is
functioning all the time. Finally, we will regularly follow up call client to
ensure our product is working perfectly.
4.3. Pricing Structure
4.3.1.

Cost-Plus Pricing
Pricing is a crucial key of our business, because setting the right pricing
enable us to maximize profits while it also determines our business
sustainability. Besides, right and rational price also vital for maintain a
good relationship with our customer and favourable in comparing to our
competitors. Therefore we will use cost-plus pricing which is the simplest
method of determining our products price. We will take account of cost of
production and thorough research to determine our desired profit margin.
To ensure our products does not charge too high that no customer willing
to pay or charge too low that may be underpaid for our work. Therefore we
expect to have a 100% cost-plus in our products before including others
fees like installation, transportation. The expectation cost may be revoke
depending market situation, because we need to ensure our prices are
compare favourably to our competitors and also cover total cost to make a
profit.

4.3.2.

Services Pricing
Installation fees will be account on profession and equipment installation
fee. RM 100 will be charged to professional technician skill provided for
installing the system and equipment installation fee is charged depends on
the power, quantity and length of equipment used (e.g. horsepower of the
pump used, length of the pipe and number of the nozzle used).
Transportation fees is free if traveling distance is within 25km. Fees
charged are depends on the distance travel, such as outstation areas will
pay higher transportation fee. However if the total payment exceed RM 10
000, transportation fees will be waved. We provide free maintenance
services fees for clients within warranty period, normally 1 year warranty
after installing. We will continue provide maintenance services if clients

enquired but maintenance fees will be charged. Rental services provided
will be charge based on deposit and equipment rented. Portion of the
deposit will be returned to client when they return back the equipment.
While equipment rented cost is the cost depending on the type and the
quantity of the equipment rented out. However if equipment rented were
damaged, client have to bear the losses by paying out of their pocket.
4.3.3.

Other Structure
To appreciate the effort of the dealers promote our product, we will share a
50 percent on the products profits of their sales. Besides that, customer
which helps us to get new businesses, we will also pay 25 percent on that
particular product profits to thank them and maintain good relationship
with our customers.
