Campaign proposal

ProductCancer Research UK
Target audience18-25, because people in this age group may not be able to
afford expensive clothes this could be because they havent got
a job or they are at university and cant afford to buy expensive
clothes or have little money to spend on clothes.
Campaign messageThe campaign message is that you can still look good and
fashionable at an affordable price.
Launch dateMy launch date will be the 1st of December because its the
start of the winter so people can then buy warm, fashionable
clothing at an affordable price.
Schedule of advertisements December 1st - the first advert is going to be advertised on
billboards for at least 2 weeks.
December 15th - the adverts will then be advertised in
newspapers and magazines for 3 weeks.
December 22nd the adverts will be advertised on posters
for 2 weeks.
Location of advertisements On December 1st the billboards will be up in shopping
centres, at the side of train and bus stations, at the side of
main roads and on the side of buses.
On December 15th my campaigns advertisements will be in
these magazines: GLAMOUR, VOGUE, HEAT, TAKE A
BREAK, WOMENS ZONE and THE RADIO TIMES. They will
also be in these newspapers: THE SUN, THE DAILY MIRROR
and THE GUARDIAN.
On December 22nd my advertisements will then be
advertised on posters outside university campuses, job

centres and around popular shopping centres which are


Golden Square and the Trafford centre.
Legal issues Copyright: to make sure that I do not copy any other
persons work and pass it off as your own as this will break
the copyright law.
Intellectual property rights: I will make sure that I havent
stole any other campaigns ideas and that I dont use any
other clothings brands for example if my model was
wearing a shirt with a Hollister logo badge on it I would
take the picture but on an angle in which you cant see the
brands logo.
Obscenity law: The obscenity law is when something is
obscene which includes searing, violence or nudity. This
law does not apply to my work because
Discrimination: I will make sure that I do not discriminate
any sort of religion, age, gender and race.
Ethical issuesRepresentational issues: I will make sure all races and
religions and ethnicities are represented fairly and equally.
I understand that my campaign has one model which
doesnt fairly represent the population of the UK however
if I were to do a bigger campaign I would make sure that I
use other people from others races and cultures to make
sure people are represented fairly.
Code of practiceCAP have certain rules that I will have to follow such as-

Misleading advertising
Marketing communications must not materially mislead or be
likely to do so.
