Turned around TA Income Tax and Bookkeeping, tripling net income. Took over company
with just 285 clients. Implemented aggressive marketing strategies and cost saving efficiencies.
Within one year grew client base three-fold to 950 clients. Continued to utilize effective business
strategies, growing company to 2900 clients.
Grew international practice at TA Income Tax by focusing on American’s working abroad.

Enabled clients to receive tax refunds from Foreign Earned Income Credits, as well as his in
depth understanding of the capital gains tax as it pertains to international investors who are not
residents of the US.
Started up BJ Tax Inc., growing it into an attractive acquisition and selling it to Jackson
Hewitt. Developed and implemented strategic plan, opening one office and shortly thereafter,
adding another office. Key clients included small businesses and franchise operators. Consulted
on payroll and sales tax. Implemented cost effective budget and marketing programs while
providing prompt customer service. Grew business from 250 to 2800 clients.
Purchased and improved Texaco gas station, selling it for triple the initial investment.
Analyzed current business model and identified opportunity for growth. Added grill and
restaurant, increasing monthly food sales from $16K to $55K. Changed hours of operation,
reducing cost of being open during non-productive times.
Grew Mobil gas store into profitable acquisition, selling it at more than two-and-a-half
times the investment. Expanded store services to include mechanic service. Implemented
marketing campaign with innovative service offerings. Grew mechanic business from $15K to
$33K per month and realized a 30% increase in store sales.

Marketing Director, Jackson Hewitt, 2002 to 2003. Enabled smooth transition of client base
from BJ Tax Service after its purchase by Jackson Hewitt, the second largest tax firm in the US.
Vice President and Co-Owner, BJ Tax Service Inc., 1994 to 2002. Established new
tax office. Developed and implemented business plan including aggressive marketing strategies.
Prepared business valuations and consulting for small business in the area. Directed and operated
electronic filings. Managed all office operations, instituting effective growth strategies and
turning company into attractive acquisition. Personal investment included Mobil Gas station,
implementing operating improvements and realizing two-and-a-half times ROI.

My education encompasses an MBA in Finance from Dallas Baptist University,

an MM (Master of Management) with a major in Information Systems from the
University of Dallas and a BS in Industrial Technology from Jackson State University, I
am bilingual in English and Arabic and hold dual citizenship in the US and Jordan.

I am currently in the process of exploring new career options. My goal is to find a

senior level management position in a company (preferred in Middle East) where I can
utilize my experience, skills and versatility to help a growing company prosper.
Titles are much less important to me than long-term opportunity.
