Proof of Status. Original ILR card or other proof of resident status in the UK, this should be valid for a minimum of three months
after your return from Ireland.
Itinerary. Copy of round trip tickets or itinerary.
Business letter. An original signed letter from the UK company detailing the purpose and duration of the visit.
Hotel Reservations. Copy of confirmed hotel reservations including name of the applicant, name and address of the hotel,
duration of stay.
Business invitation. A business invitation letter from the sponsoring company in Ireland. The letter should be printed on company
letterhead stationery, addressed to "The Embassy of Ireland", and signed by a senior manager (an equivalent to Vice-President or above).
The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines:
Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant).
State the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of
companies to be contacted in Ireland.
Specify the type and desired validity of the visa (ie. a one year multiple entry business visa).
Additional Documents for Children.
- Original birth certificate showing the names of both parents
- A letter from child's school confirming current attendance or a letter from their GP if the child is not yet of the school going age
- The written consent of both parents for the child to travel or a sworn affidavit of guardianship/ or original court order in the case of sole
guardianship
- Original (or certified copies) photo ID for both parents, as named on the birth certificate, which includes their signatures.
Please note Each applicant must send us the Collection Authorization Letter which can be downloaded by clicking the 'Download and
print' button above. When applying for a Visa to Ireland please provide all original documents; internet banking/Cash Point/ATM Statements
as the Evidence of Funds are not accepted. Failure to do so may result in delays. The Irish embassy has very particular processes and will
not accept an application until all the below documents are provided in the originals. Multiple entry visa is only possible if you have had
previous visits to Ireland.
