Optimization for Barges

The Continuous Unloader must efficiently unload from unevenly
loaded coal barges. The upper layers of coal have peaks and valleys
and the digging head must be designed to enable the buckets to be
filled as much as possible.

The digging head is designed to fill the buckets as they move over
the uneven surfaces of the upper layers.

Design of Digging Head

The buckets should travel
parallel to the material
surface so they fill up to
capacity.
The buckets should travel
along the surface for some
distance so they can fill up.

Our digging head design

satisfies these requirements.

Advantage:Efficient Operation

Bucket Elevator Swing

Bucket Elevator can swing in and out to access

more material without moving the machine.
Angle of digging head can be adjusted so the
buckets travel parallel to the material surface.

Advantage:Prevents stoppage and spillage

Reducing Dust
Bucket Elevator column
is fully enclosed, so there
is no coal dust from
unloading operation.
