MODULE DESCRIPTION
A continuation of Industrial Automation 1 and 2. This course covers pneumatic circuit
diagram, relay, sensor, fuse, solenoid valve, system leakage and assemble pneumatic
component. Its also covers verify pneumatic system, set up pneumatic system and trouble
shoot pneumatic failure.

INTERPRET PNEUMATIC CIRCUIT DIAGRAM.

1. Interpret pneumatic circuit diagram according to the specification.
2. Identify pneumatic components and its use according to the specification.
3. Draw pneumatic diagrams in graphic diagrams.
4. Check the relationship or functions between pneumatic components.
5. Demonstrate the relationship or functions between pneumatic components.

TEACHING STRATEGIES
1. Distinguish type of pneumatic components according to basic pneumatic principle.
2. Identify the construction and functions of the components according to manual.
3. Identify type of pneumatic components according to applications.
4. Check pneumatic components using tools, instrument, equipment and checklist
according to manual.
5. Identify pneumatic components according to manual instructions and SOPs.
6. Assemble new components correctly according to
manual instructions.

4.2.3 Plan the pneumatic system assembling according to standard operating procedure.
4.2.4 Assemble pneumatic system according to standard specification.
