LATEST REPORT IN RESPECT OF COURT BUILDINGS

IN MEDAK DISTRICT
(AS ON 20TH MAY, 2015)
I.

At Sangareddy Headquarter, the following Courts are situated:


1. Principal District & Sessions Court.
2. I Addl. Dist. & Sessions Court.
3. II Addl. Dist. & Sessions Court (FTC) (Vacant, FAC V ADJ).
4. V Addl. Dist. & Sessions Court (SC/ST Court).
5. VII Addl. Dist. & Sessions Court (Family Court).
6. Senior Civil Judges Court.
7. Prl. Junior Civil Judges Court.
8. Addl. Junior Civil Judges Court.
9. JMFC Special Mobile Court.
10. JMFC Excise Court.
Note:- All the above Courts except II ADJ Court (FTC) are located in the newly
constructed District Court Building Complex.
The II ADJ Court (FTC) is located in another Court Building Complex which
is situated in the District Court Premises.

II.

At Zaheerabad Town, the following courts are functioning:1. Senior Civil Judges Court.
2. Junior Civil Judges Court.
Note:- The Court of Senior Civil Judge was established in the year 2008 and the
same is temporarily accommodated in the Court Building of Junior Civil
Judge.
The Government have sanctioned a new Court Building for the Senior Civil
Judge at Zaheerabad at a cost of Rs.3,19,00,000 vide G.O.Ms.No.8 (LAW
Dept), Dated:- 17-01-2011. The Construction work is in progress.

III.

At Jogipet:1. Junior Civil Judges Court.


Note:-

The existing Court Building of Junior Civil Judge at Jogipet is in

dilapidated condition which was constructed in the erstwhile Nizam period. The
Government have sanctioned a new Court Building at a cost of Rs.3,19,00,000
G.O.Ms.No.8 (LAW Dept), Dated:- 17-01-2011.

The Construction work is in

progress. The Court is continuing in the same old Court Building till construction of
new Building.

IV.

At Narsapur:1. Junior Civil Judges Court.


Note:-

The Court Building was constructed in the year 1989 and frequent repairs

were under taken, as such a report has to be called for from the concerned R&B

officials with regard to the condition of the structure for taking further action in the
matter.

Note:-

The two Courts i.e. VIII ADJ Court and Senior Civil Judges Court are

located in the newly constructed Court Building Complex. The other two Courts i.e.
Junior Civil Judges Court and JMFC Special Mobile Court are located in another
old two Court Building Complex which is situated in the same Court premises.

Note:- There are two Court Complex at Siddipet. In one Court Complex, the VI ADJ
Court is accommodated on the Ground floor of the building. On the top of this court
building , two additional floors have been constructed recently. On the first floor, the
Senior Civil Judge Court is accommodated and on the second floor the Prl. Junior
Civil Judge Court is accommodated. The Addl. Junior Civil Judges Court is located
in another old Court Building in the same premises.

At Gajwel:1. Prl. Junior Civil Judges Court.


2. Addl. Junior Civil Judges Court. (Newly Established).
Note:- The newly sanctioned Addl. Junior Civil Judges Court which is functioning
since march, 2015 is temporarily accommodated in the existing Court Building of
Junior Civil Judge till proposals for the New Court Building are made.

The Bar Association of Gajwel Court has submitted a representation in the High
Court for construction of new Court Building Complex for the above two Courts as
well as for establishment of a new Senior Civil Judges Court at Gajwel.
The Honble High Court has called for the remarks of Unit Head on the
representation made by the Bar Association.

In this regard, a letter has been

addressed to the VI Addl. District and Sessions Judge, Siddipet seeking a report on
the subject matter. The report is awaited.
VIII. At Narayankhed:-

Note:- This Court is a newly established independent Court which is functioning
since April, 2014. This Court has been accommodated in an old building of MPDO
Office after repairs and renovation work done by the R&B Department after
obtaining administrative sanction of Honble High Court.
Proposals are to be made for acquiring Government land for construction of a
new Court Building of Junior Civil Judge at Dubbak.

Note:- Almost all the Courts are located in Government Court Buildings except the

LATEST REPORT IN RESPECT OF RESIDENTIAL QUARTERS OF


JUDICIAL OFFICERS IN MEDAK UNIT

At Sangareddy Headquarter, the Officers of following Courts are having


earmarked Judicial Quarters:

Note:- The Prl. Junior Civil Judge and the Addl. Junior Civil Judge are presently
residing in private rented buildings due to unfit condition of their earmarked quarters.

These quarters required renovation works, for which proposals are to be made in
consultation with R&B department.
The Judicial Officers of the following Courts of Sangareddy Headquarters have
no earmarked residential quarters due to which they are residing in private rented
building.

Proposals have already been made with the District Collector Medak at

Sangareddy for allotment of Government Land for construction of Judicial Quarters for
the above said Officers. The Revenue Authorities have identified an extent of (14) guntas
of land which is situated infront of the residential quarter of Principal District and
Sessions Judge.
In this regard, a letter has been addressed to the Executive Engineer R&B
Department Sangaredy seeking report as to the feasibility for construction of (4)
proposed residential quarters for the above said Officers. The report is awaited from the
R&B Department.
II.

At Zaheerabad Town:There is earmarked residential quarter for the Officer of Junior Civil Judges
Court at Zaheerabad. However, for the Senior Civil Judge, there is no earmarked
quarter, as such proposals made for construction of a new quarter on the available
site of Judicial Department which is adjacent to the Court building of Junior Civil
Judge.

The Government have already sanctioned Rs.77 Lakhs for construction of the
quarter, but the contract of the agency is reported to be terminated by the R&B
Department and it is reported by the R&B Department that work estimate is being
submitted for an amount of Rs.85 Lakhs as against the previous sanction for the
quarter of Senior Civil Judge and after obtaining the revised administrative sanction,
agency will be fixed up.

III.

At Jogipet:There is earmarked residential quarter for the Officer which is situated near to the

Court building.

At Narsapur:There is earmarked residential quarter for the Officer which is situated near to the

Court building.
V.

At Medak Town:The Officers of following Courts are having earmarked residential quarters.
1. Senior Civil Judge.
2. Junior Civil Judge.
The Officers of following Courts have no earmarked quarters, as such they are
residing in private rented houses.

2. JMFC Special Mobile Court.
Proposals are made with R&B Department i.e. E.E. (R&B) Siddipet for
construction of two residential quarters on the available site of Judicial Department
adjacent to the quarters of Senior Civil Judge and Junior Civil Judge.

At Siddipet Town:The Officers of following Courts are having earmarked residential quarters.

The Officers of following Courts have no earmarked residential quarters.
1. VI Addl. Dist. & Sessions Judge.
2. Addl. Junior Civil Judge.
A new residential quarter is under construction at a cost of Rs.102 Lakhs and the
same is expected to be completed soon. For construction of a quarter to the Addl. Junior
Civil Judge, detailed estimate has been called for from E.E. R&B Siddipet and the same
is awaited.

At Gajwel:There is earmarked residential quarter for the Officer which is situated near to the

Court building.

VIII. At Narayankhed:There is earmarked residential quarter for the Officer which is situated near to the
Court building.
IX.

At Dubbak:The Officer i.e. Junior Civil Judge is not yet posted for the newly sanctioned Court
which is functioning since April, 2014 by placing the Addl. Junior Civil Judge of Siddipet
as FAC. As on when the Officer is posted, a private rented house has to be acquired by
the Officer till the proposals are made for construction of a new Court Building and
residential quarter.

Proposals are pending for the following works by R&B Department

The sanitary system of the toilets of New District Court Building Complex at Sangareddy
de-functioned since long time for which a requisition was made with the E.E. R&B Division
Sangareddy for necessary repairs.

The R&B Department has submitted an estimate of

Rs.1.90Lakhs which was submitted to the Honble High Court which has accorded
administrative sanction for the said amount. But, the agency has not yet completed the works at
the toilets inspite of repeated reminders.
In this regard, a meeting has to be conducted with R&B Officials and the District
Collector along with the District Judge who are the committee members for review of
infrastructure needs and also to review the pending works.
