2. Program of Study
The bachelor of engineering degree is a four-year program.
The graduates of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering will have the
knowledge and abilities in designing, planning ,constructing repairing
and developing the ships or any sea going vessels.
The study program consists of three majors , ie. Major in
Naval Architecture, Major in Marine Engineering , and Major in Offshore
Engineering.
The graduates major in Marine Engineering, after completed
12 months service onboard 200 tons vessel or over, will have a change to
take an examination for an engineering officers license.

7. Apprenticeship
7.1 Mechanical or Marine Engineering practices in the industrial sector of at
least 240 hours.
7.2 For those who acquire the Engineering Officers License, training onboard
of 200 gross tons or over as a Cadet for at least 12 months is required.
8. Program Schedual
The B.Sc program may be completed within four academic years, those who
acquire the Engineering Officers License, another 12 months training onboard
as in 7.1 is required. Suggested program schedual is as following.: -
