An aerospace tier-1 supplier was in need of achieving capacity

country sources for sheet metal parts. One of the major

stringent criteria on quality, cost and schedule adherence. TCS

Manufacturing of prototypes for surgical equipment

manufacturer helped in shortening the design cycle.
A US based OEM manufacturing surgical equipments wanted to
value engineer one of its products to improve functionality at a
reduced cost. One of the key challenges was to quickly and cost
effectively prove the value-engineered design with a functional
prototype. TCS provided an end-to-end solution through its Art
to Part offering. TCS provided program management services
integrating multiple suppliers. The product involved several
critical manufacturing process capabilities and tolerances. TCS
adopted its proven prototype development methodology that
includes use of detailed process sheets, quality assurance plans
