NOTICE IS HEREBY
GIVEN that on the 13th
of April 2015
MONMOUTHSHIRE
COUNTY COUNCIL
made an Order under
S14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984
which has continued in
force, and would
otherwise expire on the
26th of July 2015, if the
direction for an
extension had not be
given. The Order has
been extended further
under the Authority of
the Minister for
Economy, Science and
Transport, one of the
Welsh Ministers, until
and including the 26th
of January 2016 under
Section 15 (5) of the
Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 (as amended
by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions)
Act 1991).

Notice is hereby given that the County Borough

Council of Torfaen in exercise of their powers under
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)
intend not less than seven days from the date of this
Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be
to prohibit pedestrians and cyclists from
proceeding
along:Restricted By-Way (RB) No. 2 Rogerstone
Community from its junction with the Unclassified
County Road (UCR) and running in a north easterly
direction for approximately 50 metres to its junction
with
RBs
No.
3
and
4.
RB No.3 Rogerstone Community from its junction
with RBs No.2 and 4, and running in a north
easterly direction for approximately 140 metres to
its junction with the County Boundary and Public
Footpath
(FP)
No.42.
RB No.4 Rogerstone Community from its junction
with RBs No.2 and 3, and running in an easterly
direction for approximately 120 metres to its
junction with the County Boundary and FP No.38.
FP No.38 Henllys Community from its junction with
RB No.4 and running in a north easterly direction
for
approximately
520
metres
to
its
junction
with
the
UCR.
FP No.42 Henllys Community from its junction with
RB No.3 and running in a north easterly direction
for
approximately
450
metres
to
its
junction
with
the
UCR.
There are alternative routes along other Rights of
Way
and
UCRs
are
available.
The prohibition is necessary because of the
likelihood
of
danger
to
the
public.
The proposed order will come into operation on 15
July 2015 and will continue in force for a period of
6 months, or until the works have been completed,
whichever
is
the
sooner.
