Today there are many career options for the students after
completing any course in any desired field which is having
plenty of opportunities. MBA can be done in various streams,
MBA program was offered very first by Harvard University in
1908 from that time the courses have evolved according to the
basic need of the businesses. Various specialization have been
introduced.

Finance

In Logistics & Operations focus is on supply

The type of MBA Programs

Two-year (Full Time) MBA


The IIMs and other autonomous business schools offer a postgraduate diploma in management (PGDM) or Post Graduate
Program in Management (PGPM) which in India are equivalent
to an MBA degree and most of the program offered in India.
The autonomous business schools can offer only PGDM or
PGPM, whereas an MBA can be offered only by a university, in
two-year full-time program , Its examination focuses on
theoretical aspects of management whereas the PGDM/PGPM
is industry-oriented, by using case-study method of instruction,
and building soft skills.

Executive MBA (EMBA)


This program is designed for all the executives and
managers having higher number of years of work
experience, and who wants to enhance their skills while
doing job so this program has been designed.

Distance learning MBA


These programs offered as correspondence courses by
postal mail or email, non-offline or online courses.
Universities like Annamalai, IGNOU, Symbiosis etc.
Offers distance learning program.

Dual MBA: Program where an MBA degree is can


combine with others like MS or MA.

Online MBA: Only virtual classroom and fully online
