May 30 Kurt Elling with the Count Basie Orchestra - I've seen the Count Basie Orchestra twice
now. Once about ten years ago in Ann Arbor Michigan and once just last month in San Diego. Both Related Slideshows
times they brought the house down, and most of these guys are over 50! Kurt Elling I heard about

June 12 Salif Keita - Keita is just one of the many musical talents coming from Mali (what's in the
water there?). There is nothing I can say about this music other than Keita is the absolute height of
Afropop. SFJAZZ is pulling out the stops for this show and whipping out the dance floor. Perfect.
