Introduction
What is the Microsoft Office Interface (MS Office
Interface)?

You can use mySAP PLM's MS Office Interface to check

documents in and out of mySAP PLM's Document
Management System. To do this, drag the documents into
the appropriate folders in mySAP PLM's MS Office Interface

How does the order process look like?

To order it just contact the sales department. SAP will send

you a CD with the required add-on software. In a few weeks
SAP will set up the order process directly via the Internet.

Does it cost anything?

This function is included in the named-user fee in the

mySAP.com suite and in mySAP PLM.
SAP R/3 operational or information users can be upgraded to
use the MS Office Interface at 250 EUR per user. This fee
contributes to the SAP Application Value. Standard
upgrades and discounts apply.

Introduction
How can I get it to run?

The software has to be installed on the PCs locally using the

install shield. The SAPGui is not required to run the
software. Customizing has to be performed in the R/3 system
as well as in the MS Office Interface.

What does SAP plan to do with the MS Office Interface in

the future?

SAP plans to enhance the functionalities step by step. Next

Release is planned for end of this year.

English and German
