Be Polite
Dear Ms Teacher,
I hope you are doing well. The
deadline for Personal Project
Meeting #2 is May 29. Do you have
twenty minutes free between May
25-29 so that we could meet about
my project? Look forward to hearing
back from you.
Regards,
Student

Be Organized
Suggest specific times (e.
g. Can we meet at 11:
10am? rather than Can
we meet at lunch?
Make a meeting
appointment in Outlook
and invite your supervisor
(gives you both a
reminder!)

If you set a
meeting, make
sure you attend
If something happens that
will prevent you from attending
(e.g. youre sick that day), send
an apologetic email and request
to reschedule
Be Accountable
