National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCB) is an apex body working under the administrative control of Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Ministry of
Commerce and Industry, Government of India and is devoted to Research, Technology Development and Transfer, Continuing Education and Industrial Services for Cement, Concrete and
Construction Sector for over five decades.

Candidates having experience in a research Institute / Lab / Cement plant and having knowledge of material
analysis, R&D, product development, operation of advanced equipment for chemical and mineralogical analysis
of inorganic materials preferably building materials i.e. cement , soil, sand, aggregates etc will be given
preference.

in the area of laboratory testing related to chemical/mechanical testing of building material samples in a reputed
laboratory. Candidates having experience in testing and analysis of building materials in accredited testing
laboratories shall be preferred.
Candidates having experience in Financial Accounting and Cost Accounting in reputed organization; Handling
Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Reconciliation of Bank Accounts, Bills Receivable and Payable, Handling of
Budget and Budgetary control, Service Tax, Income tax matters, establishment matters such as EPF, Salary
Preparation and Tally etc.
Candidates having experience in the areas related to LAN, network maintenance and related troubleshooting, email maintenance, office automation, installation & configuration of various computer hardware (PC, Laptop,
PDA), accessories & servicing etc

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS / OTHER DETAILS:

Number as well as break-up of posts given above may vary as per actual requirement at the time of recruitment.
The person already working with Govt./Public sector Undertaking/Autonomous Body should apply through proper channel. Applications received after the last date
for whatever reason, including postal delay, will neither be considered nor any correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
No interim enquiries will be entertained from any applicant on any of the issues related to the ongoing recruitment process.
Reservations are applicable as per Government of India rules.
Relaxation in age will be given to SC/ST/OBC category candidates as per Govt. rules.
The management reserves the right to raise minimum standards and / or relax age and / or experience in case of deserving candidates.
Candidates having relevant experience in similar Scientific Research Institutions will be preferred.
Basic knowledge to operate and work on Microsoft Office 2007 & 2008 will be an added advantage for all the above posts.

Traveling Allowance (with no other benefit): The candidates called for written test/ interview for posts at E-7/E-5 & E3 scale will be reimbursed to and fro 2AC rail /
bus fare by shortest route and for all other posts (A-6, E1 & E2), sleeper class rail fare/ bus fare by shortest route will be reimbursed on production of original ticket /
receipt.
