Ore paper 1 consists of multiple short answer questions and extended matching

questions covering applied dental sciences.

MFDS paper 2 consists of multiple choice questions and extended matching
questions covering clinical dentistry.
Candidates should have sound clinical knowledge about all aspects of clinical
dentistry. This includes oral medicine and surgery, restorative dentistry,
endodontics, periodontology, prosthodontics, pedodontics and basic orthodontic
knowledge to diagnose various conditions.
Candidates will be expected to have sound basic knowledge and understanding
of applied anatomy, physiology and biochemistry sufficient to interpret the effect
of common dental problems. A detailed knowledge of embryology is not required
but the pathogenesis of common developmental abnormalities is important.
Knowledge of the therapeutic actions and toxic effects of drugs commonly used
in dentistry especially in treatment of dental conditions will also be required.
Candidates must have an understanding of basic aspects of pathology,
immunology and microbiology if when relevant to dentistry.
