Under the supervision of the Child Survival & Development Specialist (L4), the incumbent
will carry out the following tasks:-
• Design, prepare, implement, monitor and evaluate assigned Malaria project; analyzes
and evaluate data to ensure achievement of objectives and/or take corrective action
when necessary to meet project objectives. Contribute to the development and/or
introduction of new approaches, methods and practices in project management and
evaluation;
• Undertake field visits to monitor the Malaria project and conduct periodic project reviews
with government counterparts and other partners. Propose and/or undertake actions on
operational procedures affecting project management and implementation. Provide
technical advice and assistance to government officials and other partners in the
planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the project;
• Prepare sectoral documents for the Country Programme Document CPD) and Project
Plans of Action (PPA), Country Programme Action Plan (CPAP), sectoral work plans and
contribute in preparing other programme documents, as required;
• Meet with national and international agencies of Malaria projects and participate in
meetings with relevant ministries for project review, and follow up on implementation of
recommendations and agreements;
