To the Second Wisconsin Passenger Rail Summit

Well be welcomed by State Representative Ed Brooks, R-Reedsburg; recently


appointed as the Assembly representative to the Midwest Regional Rail Commission.
Hear from keynote speaker and Futurist William Draves of the Learning Resources
Network, and author of The End of the Auto Age, about how passenger rail will be one
of the key factors Wisconsin must have in its range of alternatives when influencing the
next generation of professionals and community leaders on where they live and work
and how they get around.
Youll be treated to a panel discussion on the current political state of Passenger Rail in
Wisconsin, the Politics of Passenger Rail in the 2016 elections and what will influence
the states political leadership to re-consider its current stance going forward. Panelists
include Attorney Lester Pines, Dave Zwiefel of the Capitol Times, and moderated by
AAWs own Gary Goyke.
NEW ADDITION! Hear from Mayor Koos of Normal, IL how that citys forward-thinking
design of a mixed-use multi-modal transportation center - including passenger rail,
helped revitalize its downtown and spur other development.
All Aboard Wisconsin has conducted five Passenger Rail Forums around the state
with well over 100 attendees. Find out what Wisconsin residents want for passenger
rail service and why its important to them.
See the unveiling of the new All Aboard Wisconsin Website!
End the day with a relaxing and fun social gathering hosted by the Riverside and Great
Northern tourist railroad in Wisconsin Dells; learn about the historic Standly steam
locomotives made in Wisconsin in the first half of the last century, and ride the rails
along the original Milwaukee Road right-of-way.

REGISTRATION FEE: $25.00, payable by mail or at the door. Includes lunch and
refreshments. (Note: There is a $10.00 additional fee for the train ride at the R&GN.)
