Beg-corner: Beginning corner Ch 3, (dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in indicated stitch or space.
Corner:(2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in indicated stitch or space.
Shell: 3 dc in indicated stitch.
COLOR SEQUENCE
Work *1 round with A, 1 round with B, 1 round with C, 1 round with D, 1 round with E; repeat from * for Color
Sequence.
NOTES
Afghan is worked in joined rounds, with RS facing at all times.
AFGHAN
With A, ch 6; join with sl st in first ch to form a ring.
Round 1 (RS): With A, ch 3 (counts as dc), 23 dc in ring24 dc. Fasten off.
Round 2: With RS facing, join B in any dc, beg-corner in same st as join, sk next 2 dc, *corner in next dc, sk next
2 dc; repeat from * around; join with sl st in top of beginning ch8 corners. Fasten off.
Round 3: With RS facing, join C in ch-1 sp of any corner, beg-corner in same ch-sp as join, sk next 2 dc, dc in sp
between corners, sk next 2 dc, *corner in ch-1 sp of next corner, sk next 2 dc, dc in sp between corners, sk next
2 dc; repeat from * around; join with sl st in top of beginning ch8 corners, and 8 dc. Fasten off.
Round 4: With RS facing, join D in ch-1 sp of any corner, beg-corner in same ch-sp as join, sk next 2 dc, 3 dc in
next dc (shell made), sk next 2 dc, *corner in ch-1 sp of next corner, sk next 2 dc, shell in next dc, sk next 2 dc;
repeat from * around; join with sl st in top of beginning ch8 corners, and 8 shells. Fasten off.
Round 5: With RS facing, join E in ch-1 sp of any corner, beg-corner in same ch-sp as join, sk next dc, dc in next
dc, sk first dc of next shell, shell in center dc of same shell, sk 3rd dc of same shell, dc in next dc, sk next dc,
*corner in ch-1 sp of next corner, sk next dc, dc in next dc, sk first dc of next shell, shell in center dc of same shell,

corners, with 5 dc between corners. Fasten off.

Round 15: With E, repeat Round 78 corners, with 25 dc between corners. Fasten off.
Note: The next two rounds are even rounds, no stitches are increased. You will work a corner in each ch-1 corner
sp, a shell in the center dc of each shell, and a dc in each dc between shells.
Round 16: With RS facing, join A in ch-1 sp of any corner, beg-corner in same ch-sp as join, sk next 2 dc, dc in
next dc, [sk next dc, shell in next dc, sk next dc, dc in next dc] to next corner, sk next 2 dc, *corner in ch-1 sp of
next corner, sk next dc, dc in next dc, [sk next dc, shell in next dc, sk next dc, dc in next dc] to next corne, sk next
2 dc; repeat from * around; join with sl st in top of beginning ch. Fasten off.
Round 17: With B, repeat Round 16. Fasten off.
Round 18: With C, repeat Round 88 corners, with 27 dc between corners. Fasten off.
Round 19: With D, repeat Round 78 corners, with 29 dc between corners. Fasten off.
Round 20: With E, repeat Round 16. Fasten off.
Round 21: With A, repeat Round 88 corners, with 31 dc between corners. Fasten off.
Round 2229: Repeat Rounds 7 and 8 four more times, and continue changing color every round as in Color
Sequence. Do NOT fasten off at the end of Round 298 corners, with 47 dc between corners.
Round 30: Continuing with D, ch 3, sk next dc, *corner in ch-1 sp of next corner, sk next dc, dc in next dc, sk next
dc, [shell in next dc, sk next dc, dc in next dc, sk next dc] to ch-1 sp of next corner; repeat from * around; join with
sl st in top of beginning ch8 corners, with 49 dc between corners. Fasten off.
Rounds 31 and 32: With E, repeat Rounds 29 and 308 corners, with 53 dc between corners. Fasten off.
Rounds 33 and 34: With A, repeat Rounds 29 and 308 corners, with 57 dc between corners. Fasten off.
Rounds 35 and 36: With B, repeat Rounds 29 and 308 corners, with 61 dc between corners. Fasten off.
Rounds 37 and 38: With C, repeat Rounds 29 and 308 corners, with 65 dc between corners. Fasten off.
Round 39: With D, repeat Round 88 corners, with 67 dc between corners. Fasten off.

Round 41: With A, repeat Round 16. Fasten off.

Rounds 4447: Repeat Rounds 7 and 8 two more times, and continue changing color every round as in Color
Sequence8 corners, with 79 dc between corners. Fasten off.
Round 48: With C, repeat Round 78 corners, with 81 dc between corners. Do NOT fasten off.
Round 49: Continuing with C, ch 1, working in back loops only, sc in each st around, working 3 sc in each corner
ch-1 sp; join with sl st in first sc. Fasten off.
FINISHING
Using yarn needle, weave in all ends.
