BOUT US

Since the early nineties we Aquilino Raimundo and Fernando Cacho, civil engineers, have
been working with Construction Methods and among them with the specic ones of the
modern bridges.
In complement we share two common passions! We enjoy the scaled models and we have
delving into the past of the bridge construction history.
The result is that we decided to create and sell a series of truly collectible Bridge Equipment
Scaled Models, remaining always committed to producing models that are coveted by
collectors due to their quality and limited availability, looking forward to serving you for
many years to come.
Get a collector of our scaled models and fell the Secret Spirit of the Bridge Construction
Sites!
Thank you,
Aquilino Raimundo & Fernando Cacho

Brunelleschi light winch

IFTING EQUIPMENT

The basic challenge is to lift any construction loads to the required height.
To accomplish this task, all kinds of machines were devised throughout history.
The ones presented here all have one thing in common: they were designed to solve a
specic problem, whether it was raising the load to achieve the required height or to place it
in a precise manner within a particular construction.

The main cost regarding digging canals are related to the removing of the earth.
This cost will be even bigger in deep excavation.
Excavators was invented to easier the digging underwater. Normally these machines was
supported on two parallel walls made by sheet piling.

Pile Extractor

The use of wooden stakes driven into the ground by beating a weight is a technique used by
the Man since the Neolithic. Archaeological nds show us evidence of thousands of wooden
piles driven into the bed of many European lakes, to support the construction of stilt
villages.
The wooden stakes driven into the ground with its upper end below the water level, are
preserved in good condition for thousands of years without deteriorate.By the year 1600
almost all pile-drivers were operated by muscle power of man. The equipment used by the
ancient builders for driving piles was obviously very simple in its design, being its evolution
very slow.
The old pile-drivers worked as a giant hammer, that instead of drive a nail, drive a pile with
several meters long on the ground. The weight was uploaded by the action of a winch or
simply pulling a rope through a pulley, dropping the weight, which, in free fall, hit the top of
the pile.
The weights uploaded by pile-drivers equipped with winches usually weighed between 300
and 500 kilograms, but they may reach about 1500 kilograms.
