Role Outline
The Junior Configuration Specialist is responsible for implementing Darwin by configuring it
to meet Client requirements. The platform is an online hosted solution and so
implementation is performed from the Thomsons offices in London and Cluj.
The JCS also performs testing of configured functionality and then helps support post
launch work for Clients.

Key Responsibilities

Configure Darwin functionality and configures simple-medium complex benefits


including unit testing

Set up standard reports in Darwin

Perform simple branding and other simple-medium tasks as defined by the Project
Lead;

Upload data into Darwin as supplied by the Client

Support testing through bug resolution and fixing

Demonstrate an understanding of the basic concepts of benefits and how these are
implemented on Darwin, end-end benefit administration processes and interfacing
on Darwin

Work every day in an Agile Environment, doe to internal processes of Solutions


Delivery

Requirements:

Graduate calibre or more than one year experience in configuration or in an IT or


technology related role

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

An eye for detail

A passion for team work and knowledge sharing

A good understanding of how projects are delivered

Would be a plus:

Academic background in an IT or Business Systems related subject, or a


logical/numerate degree e.g. Economics, Computer Science

Basic HTML skills

Good data manipulation skills in Excel

Knowledge of Agile environments

Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
