Activities :.
1. Teacher asks pupils to read the rhyme Miss Bess, Miss Bess with the correct
intonation and rhythm.
2. Teacher recalls the contents from the previous lesson by asking pupils to spell and
pronounce words with l, f and s sound in the rhyme
3. Pupils spell and pronounce the words with guidance from the teacher
4. Teacher guides pupils how to write the letter l, f and s step by step
5. Pupils complete the exercises from the activity book.

Activities :
1. Sing the What fruit do you like? . Once the song reaches the food vocab, point or shows
the pictures on the board.
2. Instructions:
- Paint the back of the plate brown and leave to dry.
- Carefully cut out a semicircle from the middle of the plate, leaving the rim as a handle.
Draw around the outside of the paper plate onto white card and cut out the circle. Run a thin
line of glue around the edge of the circle and press the plate on to it. Wait until it dries.
Alternatively, teacher could staple or glue around the edges. Use the brown marker pen to
add some criss-cross basket weave patterns to the basket. Colour the clipart then cut fruit
and vegetable shapes from coloured paper (or use the clipart) and fill the basket.
3. Teacher selects few pupils randomly to present their mini basket fruit to the class.
Encourage pupils to answer a few question.
Assessment: Observe pupils being creative and innovative in producing the basket fruit.

4. Match correctly words with pictures .

1. Teacher shows the video of Mexican dance to the pupils.
2. Teacher play the tune according to 'hello,hello, hello ' song in the textbook and
pupils are to sing the song.

4. Teacher list the name on the whiteboard and asks pupils to say it aloud.
5. Teacher introduces pupils to other types of clothing by showing them the PP
presentation.
6. Pupils say aloud the name of the clothing
7. Pupils talk about the outfit they are wearing and compare it with other pupils like
the librarian and school prefect.

1. Teacher guides pupils to read and understand the chant. ( TB pg 76 )

things in the bag guided by teacher.
4. Each group takes turn to chant by replacing the words with other words related to
things in my bag.
5. Teacher distributes the pictures of things in the bag.
6. Pupils colour and cut out the pictures and paste them in their exercise book.

with that.
4. Teacher guide pupils to read the text on page 87 in the textbook .
