Technical Pre-requisites for SITRAIN training courses

Note 1: Basic eligibility for all courses:
All participants attending any SITRAIN trainings should necessarily be holding diploma/degree in Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Electrical Engineering/ equivalent degree. Additionally for few higher level
courses like PCS-7, SIMOTION, SIMOCODE etc, please refer notes - 2,3,4,5 below.

Note 2: Eligibility for PCS-7 DCS courses:

All participants attending PCS-7 Trainings should necessarily be holding diploma/degree in Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Electrical Engineering, with a fairly good background of basic PLC along with
related programming knowledge & experience on Step-7 Software.

Note 3: Eligibility for SIMOTION Drives courses:

All participants attending SIMOTION Trainings should necessarily be holding diploma/degree in Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Electrical Engineering, with a fairly good background of AC DRIVES.
Knowledge & experience on SERVO Motors & Drives will be an added advantage.

Note 4: Eligibility for SIMOCODE course:

All participants attending SIMOCODE Trainings should necessarily be holding diploma/degree in Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Electrical Engineering,
with a fairly good background of basic Switchgear along with related knowledge on Electrical power. Knowledge & experience on basic PLC will be an added advantage.

Note 5: Eligibility for SIMATIC FAILSAFE Course:

All participants attending SIMATIC FAIL-SAFE Trainings should necessarily be holding diploma/degree in Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Electrical Engineering,
with a fairly good background of basic PLC along with related programming knowledge & experience on Step-7 Software.

Note : Training Centre (SITRAIN-Siemens Kalwa), 8-ATCS (Authorised Training Centres) & 1-TSP (Training Service Provider) are all centrally coordinated, monitored & controlled by SiemensSitrain, Kalwa. MCMT (Machine Tool Drives) Training at Bangalore / Pune & GTTC are managed from Bangalore.
Courses may be in varied formats including (but not limited to) classroom trainings (such as instructor led training at a Siemens Ltd. facility, remotely assisted instructional learning), onsite
dedicated training at customer premises, only lectures based trainings etc.

All the basic & advanced courses will be conducted at Siemens Ltd., Kalwa Works, Thane-Belapur Road, Thane - 400 601 (Maharashtra) & / or in our Authorized Training Centres (ATCs) viz. ESSKAYNavi-Mumbai, Kolkata & Hyderabad, KARUNYA Coimbatore, Vi-Microsystems, Chennai, IATC- Panchkula, Artech Solutions Nagpur & Sharpline (Digha), depending on availability of seats.

We will provide with a reservation confirmation as soon as possible after receipt of purchase order and / or after receipt of a valid payment as applicable.

Course fee is to be paid in advance, only on confirmation of seat, in the form of NEFT / DD / Cheque drawn in favor of SIEMENS LTD. & payable at Mumbai. NEFT details are annexed herewith at the
last page of this document.
The course fee includes the course material, breakfast, lunch and tea. However travel and stay to be managed by the participant.

Since there are limited seats in each programme, seats are confirmed on First come First served basis. Course timings are from 8.30 AM to 5.00 PM.

5.

(a) All efforts will be made to conduct courses as scheduled. We however reserve the right to withdraw the program or change the date / location of any course at any given point of time without
assigning any reason. However we shall do our best to send timely communication in such situations.
(b) All efforts will be made to accommodate the participants with seats at geographically proximate Siemens Training Centre including North / South / East / West & Central India centers.

6.

Please note that the course fee is exclusive of service tax. The present applicable rate of the same is 12.36 %. However any change in the tax rate at the time of training, will be applied accordingly, at
actuals.

7.

Please note that INR rates are applicable only for Indian Nationals and Indian Residents sponsored by Indian companies (companies physically located in India).
For Foreign Residents or Indian Nationals having Foreign country Residentship or sponsored by foreign companies, the rates will be applicable in EUROS payable in INR after conversion at the rate
prevailing at the time of training. Please contact us for more details on the same.

(a) Participants attending courses like TIA Advanced, WinCC, NET, PCS 7 are recommended to attend TIA Basic with S7 300 before they come for these courses, or should have an equivalent
knowledge / experience on S7-300 & STEP7 Programming.
(b) Participants attending SIMOTION-D should have good knowledge about AC Drives (like Master Drives or Sinamics S120 or attended these courses).
(c) Participants attending DCS courses (PCS 7 Basic or Advance) should have good knowledge on PLCs preferrably Simatic S7 PLCs & STEP7 Programming (or attended these courses).
