not for the Allaahs Grace and Mercy on you, not one of you
would ever be pure from sins; but Allaah purifies (guides to
Islaam) whom He wills, and Allaah is All-Hearer, All-Knower.
(Surah An-Noor 24: 21)
Amongst these trials are a consecutive series of fabrications
which, as we earlier stated, were pre-organized. After all
that happened with the Raafidhees, and the betrayal and
sedition of the sheikhs -may Allaah guide them- the people
criticized and found fault in their negative stance. I thought
that, perchance, this (criticism) might serve as an
admonishment that might deter them from exploiting the
enemys pressure upon us, either by writings defaming and
deriding us, or by aggrandizing the principles of people that
Ahlus-Sunnah have condemned, as in the book 'AlIbaanah'. Its author wrote its introduction during the thick
of the Raafidhee crisis in the sixth war. (I thought that the
aforementioned criticism might serve) as an admonishment
to deter them from betraying the truth, as they did recently.
But next thing I knew, they were holding a meeting with
Sheikh Rabee` -may Allaah grant success to all- in Makkah
during Hajj of 1433H. They returned (to Yemen) as time
bombs upon their brothers, the da`wah, and eventually
upon themselves.
7|Page
The first bomb to explode was Muhammad ibn `AbdilWahhaab Al-Wasaabi. He went forth, declaring others
Innovators, Kaafirs, and wreaking fitnah in the da`wah. He
seems to have deemed those that met there to have dallied
in delivering the pre-planned serial onslaughts, so he
rebuked them saying, "What mealy-mouthedness is this?"
As a result many of them arose, uttering fabrications and
oppressing the da`wah in relation to which we are, as in the
statement of Allaah:

Repel (the evil deed) with one which is better (i.e. Allaah
ordered the faithful believers to be patient in anger, and
excuse those who treat them badly), Then, behold! He,
between whom and you there was enmity, (will become) as
though he was a close friend.
But none is granted it (i.e. the above quality) except those
who are patient, and none is granted it except the owner of
a great portion (of happiness in the Hereafter and in this
world of a high moral character).

sat in his lectures- to have caused fitnah, resulting in AlHajoori and his brothers in the institute clarifying (their fitnah)
and the ruling regarding their actions. This enraged the
sheikhs, so they moved heaven and earth because of it!
They themselves are well-known to have, aforetime,
declared certain people to be Hizbees or Innovators, yet no
hue and cry was raised, causing rifts or fitnah in the da`wah
because of it; likewise, those before and after them. This, as
you have heard, does not upset me, for it establishes the
aforementioned fact.
As for his chronicling of certain events, it is in need of
comment; some of it is incorrect and untrue.
The first comment is on the title: The Summarised
Clarification of the Harms of Al-Hajoori's Way. This means
that my path is harmful; this statement is, likewise, an echo of
the aforementioned series, (in which it was said that) there is
none more harmful to the Salafi da`wah than I! Clarification
of the erroneous nature and remoteness from the truth of
these statements has already been made. The truth is what
Allaah has made true, and falsehood is what He has made
false.
I am, in reality, compelled to clarify what is in this 'Summary',
in order to compare my way with Muhammad Al-Imaam's

So remind them, you are only one who reminds. You are not

(Surah Al-Ghaashiyah 88: 21-22)
Advice is far better than main force. You advise and I
advise. Brotherhood and mutual love and are better than
imposing oneself from above. O Sheikh, whole countries fail
to force certain people to yield to their will! O Sheikh, I do
not think that you are able to compel your own sons were
they to disobey you. I, by Allaah, am not able to compel
mine if they disobey me. I am engaged in da`wah. Neither
you, nor anybody else can deny that. How can you
contemplate forcing me while I have thousands of men
behind me -and all praise belongs to Allaah- all of them
upon the Sunnah and the truth is with me? If you issue a
statement they shall issue many more, by Allaah. I am at
present withholding a number of refutations (they have
written on this affair). How can you force me? This is
incorrect -may Allaah bless you and give you success.

Even though here -and all praise is due to Allaah- Daar AlHadeeth is progressing in one direction; towards knowledge
and the Sunnah. Day and night the masjid is full of
worshipers, praying, standing in night prayer, remembering
Allaah, reciting the Quran, revising; continuous lessons.
Near midnight, the masjid is still full. If you enter (you will find
it) full of good, day and night; and that is how it is all the
time. So why, brothers, -may Allaah correct you- this
fabrication against the good? Why squander these blessings
and collaborate with those that envy us them, to the extent
that the people are now averse to you due to this?
I would not cause a rift in the da`wah because of anyone
that has been spoken about. Bring me one case of you,
Sheikh Muqbil, Sheikh Rabee`, or any scholar having
condemned someone, and I thereafter having stood by that
individual; especially so if the Sheikhs adduced proofs. I
have never done so. I would never side fanatically, cause a
rift in the da`wah, and thereby carry the sin of the fabricators
and fitnah-mongers against the da`wah all because of one
person.
The reality is that this statement of Muhammad Al-Imaams
confirms that which I had in mind; which is that there is no
motive whatsoever for them involving themselves in this
uprising other than their having fanatically taken sides with

(excessiveness) if you are doing all this because of `AbdurRahmaan Al-`Adeni despite what you yourselves know
about his fitnah of old. Did you not already admit his
mistakes at the gathering with Sheikh Rabee`, when `Abdul`Azeez said: Sheikh Rabee` did not ask Sheikh Yahya to
pardon `Abdur-Rahmaan Al-`Adeni except because he was
wrong. When you visited us here in the beginning of this
fitnah, you drew his attention to his mistakes. Thereafter the
issue of registering was stopped and his masjid was to be
under the supervision of the Sheikhs and so on. Muhammad
Al-Imaam is now attempting to distort all of these realities!
When Al-`Adeni went to `Aden I said: If he does right and
rectifies the wrongs which originated from him, things will be
fine, and if not, then

It is also reported in Bukhaaree and Muslim that the

Al-Bukhaaree said:

place. But still the above mentioned Sheikhs kept the will (of
Sheikh Muqbil) before their eyes.
Abul-Hasan rose up against this institute (Dammaaj) as the
people of the jamiyyaat rose against it before him, likewise
Al-`Adeni. But all Praise is due to Allaah, for Allaah has
preserved the da`wah from them. They wrought fitnah and
right now you are emulating them in rising against this
institute. We ask Allaah to grant you right guidance. We are
not desirous of your being afflicted by the fitnah as they
were afflicted due to transgression against this institute.
As for the wasiyyah (will), they did not keep it before their
eyes. Rather, between the will, and their execution of the will
and this fitnah (against the Da`wah) lies the distance
between the east & the west. They have fanatically sided
against this wasiyyah (will), Sheikh Muqbils da`wah, his
institute, and all of his students who refused to accept your
incorrect methods. Did the Sheikh bid you all rebel against
the da`wah and fanatically side against it?!!! Can a wise
man say this?
Muhammad Al-Imaam: Thus, whenever a fitnah takes
place between Ahlus-Sunnah in Yemen they strive to solve it.
It has now been almost seven years.
How can you claim that they strove to solve it? Where was
this striving of theirs in the beginning of the Abul-Hasan
affair? Allaah brought forth someone to drive you back

them but they were patient and did not refute Sheikh
Yahya.
That statement of mine was an academic statement. I
refuted with decorum. I now quote it, word for word, that
you may see that Muhammad Al-Imaams claim that I spoke
against the Sheikhs and denigrated them is false. As far as
he is concerned, any refutation is considered speaking
against (him) and denigration; it is his manhaj.
I said in this refutation:
Al-Hamdulillaah. I invoke salaat and salaam upon the
Messenger of Allaah. To proceed:
This is a reminder concerning the pamphlet released after
the meeting held by the Sheikhs may Allaah preserve themin Hudeidah.
1. Your statement may Allaah preserve you- in this
proclamation, In view of the resumption of this affair,
suggests that this affair came to an end with the Ma`bar
proclamation. This is incorrect. It is regarding none
other than the first affair that this proclamation was
released, as you well know. There is nothing new about
it.
2. You say, The Sheikhs strove to bring this resumption
between the two sides to an end. Your holding me to
be one side and `Abdur-Rahmaan another is needless

comments or in any way vilify them? Or, is Muhammad AlImaam just perverting the truth according to the wishes of
whoever it is that is pushing and inciting him? Is he not
inciting the other sheikhs with this fanaticism for Al-`Adeni,
this display of enmity towards us, and this da`wah which
Shaytaan has made fair seeming to him?
Muhammad Al-Imaam: There is, at present, animosity
between Sheikh Muhammad ibn `Abdil-Wahhaab and
Sheikh Yahya
The reason behind this discord has already been mentioned
in audios and treatises; its origin lies in his fanatical siding with
Al-`Adeni. The Sheikhs became involved and came here to
attempt reconciliation. They came after Al-Imaam had
made several points. They said, May Allaah excuse that
which is past between you and Sheikh Muhammad ibn
`Abdil-Wahhaab. I said, May Allaah excuse that which is
past from Muhammad ibn `Abdil-Wahhaab. I made clear,
after Fajr, that it was not for Muhammad ibn `AbdilWahhaab to interfere in the Al-`Adeni affair. It was but a
matter of a few days before Muhammad ibn `AbdilWahhaab released an audio containing untruths about me
without my having said anything about him and after having
forgiven him!

And whatever blessings and good things you have are from
Allaah.
(Surah An-Nahl 16: 53)
He says; "You are upon what you are upon, and we are
upon what we are upon." It also reached me from those
who were present at the sitting with Sheikh Rabee` that they
heard him say the same thing there.
Muhammad Al-Imaam: "You initiated the separation.
It is as if these people are desperate to splinter off. (As) is

against you (i.e. Sheikh Yahya), both I and the Sheikhs (are
against you)." Yet I remained patient.
However, put all of this to one side; these two points (in this
document) if you (the Sheikhs) accept them, good will
come from it, if Allaah so decrees. This is the text (of the
document.)
In the name of Allaah, the Most Merciful, the Bestower of
mercy; all praise is due to Allaah, and may the peace and
blessings of Allaah be upon the Messenger of Allaah. To
proceed: I deem `Abdur-Rahmaan Al-`Adeni a Hizbee. If
you acknowledge what I have witnessed of his Hizbiyyah,
you must declare him guilty of these affairs, so that he
repents to Allaah. In addition to this, the resulting
consequences will be mentioned at the appropriate time. If,
however, his Hizbiyyah is not clear to you, I request from you
the following.
-I say this, because they say, Do not compel us (in this
affair); this is what they kept repeating in this meeting. I said
to them, Brothers, I am not compelling you, however, this is
the reality, and it is befitting that you speak the truth in this
issue, and thus aid the da`wah, perchance Allaah may
prevent harm (from coming to the da`wah.)(Returning to the text of the document :)

Did they then feel secure against the scheming of
Allaah? None feels secure from the scheming of
Allaah except the people who are losers.

How is it that you sow unrest in the da`wah and this good,
and are a means of fitnah whilst (Muhammad ibn `AbdilWahhaab) Al-Wasaabi roams freely here and there, insulting
this one and hurling abuse at that one, (arbitrarily) declaring
people to be Kaafirs and Innovators! You have collaborated
in that which harms both yourselves and the da`wah.
Allaah states;

you would certainly have seen me from the first to cry out in
