Just over one year ago, the noble Shaykh Yahya bin Ali al-Hajooree may Allaah aid himembarked on a trip to visit the land of the two Sacred Masaajid may Allaah safeguard them- for the
purpose of carrying out the rights of Umrah, and to visit some of the scholars of the Sunnah who
reside therein, amongst other things. While, this prolific journey of the Shaykh Yahya delighted
and brought joy to many of the people of Sunnah all over the world; it did not sit well with those
whose hearts carried rancor and animosity towards him.

Rather their animosities further increased when the noble Shaykh was received and welcomed by a
number of the most prominent scholars the likes of Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzan1 and Shaykh Salih alLuhyadan. This was obviously because their claim that Shaykh Yahya was warned from by these
two scholars would not only arouse suspicion, but it would be doubted and rejected by many of
those who were previous fooled by this claim. As a confirmation to the statement of the
Messenger

Certainly truthfulness (brings) tranquility, and lying (brings) doubtfulness.

The meeting of Shaykh Yahya with these other scholars from Ahlus-Sunnah left many of those who
harbored animosities towards him in much anxiousness and unease. It also drove certain
individuals to compose what they described as points of reflection in relation to the meeting of
Shaykh Yahya with some of these scholars. However, the truth of matter is that this individuals so-

2 of March 2015, the noble Shaykh Yahya bin Ali al-Hajooree may Allaah aid him- visited the al-Allaamah Salih bin Fowzan alFowzan may Allaah preserve him- in his library in Daar al-Iftaa. Shaykh Salih received Shaykh Yahya well and inquired about his
condition and the condition of his students and brethren in Yemen as he also supplicated for them with goodness. This meeting of
the people of the Sunnah was surely yet another mortal blow to the fabrications of those who claim that Shaykh Salih has declared
Shaykh Yahya an innovator and the aid of Allaah
is sought. Reported by the brother Akram al-Gaithee al-Ibee who is a known
student of Shaykh Yahya from Yemen.

called points of reflection were more honestly deserved of being referred to as waswaas (doubts
and uncertainties), more than they were an academic refutation.
In turn, by the grace of Allaah
and his aid- we composed a reply clarifying the false notions
and thoughtless speculations of this individual whom we ask Allaah
to liberate him from the
shackles of blind-following-.
From the conjecture of this individual in his so-called points of reflection was his statement:
they mentioned Sh Rabea more than they mentioned Sh Muqbil (may Allah have mercy
upon him), and more than any other scholar (in affairs of Minhaj), but now that he has refuted
their leader, they no longer hold him in the same light, nor do they reflect upon their leaders
mistakes!(?!)
In the response to this vacuous claim we mentioned following:
therefore being that Shaykh Rabee deemed Shaykh Yahya to be the most harmful
individual to ad-Dawah as-Salafiyah, then it was quite befitting that Shaykh Rabee
writes thousands of pages and puts forth tens of audios in clarifying his oppositions.
However, sadly from the time this fitnah began over seven years ago up until today we
do not have a single book written by the flag-bearer of Jarh wa Tadeel in this era, Shaykh
Rabee bin Hadee al-Madkhalee against Shaykh Yahya. Rather we dont even have a
single page from Shaykh Rabee in which he clarifies the supposed destructive
deviations of Shaykh Yahya as we have seen in the past in relation to the
aforementioned people of deviation and innovation. Therefore, if this statement of
Shaykh Rabee is indeed true, then where are the evidences and proofs which establish
Shaykh Yahyas oppositions to the Quraan and Sunnah so we may all beware???
:
Indeed this is a thing of great wonder!2

However, most recently, after many long years Shaykh Rabee bin Haadee al-Madkhalee may
Allaah
rectify his condition and ours- has finally produced two complete volumes in
clarification of what he viewed to be errors which occurred from Shaykh Yahya al-Hajooree may
Allaah aid him- in one of his books.

DIRECTING THE ONE WHO HAS ERRED TO HIS ERROR IS FROM THE
FUNDAMENTAL TEACHINGS OF OUR RELIGION
Before discussing some of the contents in the books of Shaykh Rabee, I would like to remind the
noble readers that directing the one who has erred to his error is from commanding with good and
forbidding the evil, which is from the solid foundations of the Religion of al-Islaam.

Certainly, the matter of unveiling and clarifying the errors of those who have erred in the religion is
from the greatest actions of worship. This is without a doubt because, if the error is left
uncorrected, it may result in the misleading and misguiding of countless people. Hence, if one was
to look into the Book of Allaah
and the Sunnah of the Messenger , he would find numerous
examples where Allaah
or our Messenger Muhammad
clarified and rectified the faults and
errors which occurred. Whether these mistakes were on the part of the disbelievers of Quraish or
other than them. Or they had occurred amongst the past nations or even if they were genuine
mistakes which had taken place from the noble Companions

The primary purpose in the rectification of these errors was to preserve the religion of Allaah
from any alteration or change, so that the religion of Allaah
remains pure and unadulterated.
For this purpose, the scholars past and present from as early as the time of the Companions of the
Messenger
have clarified one anothers errors publicly and in private.

Let us take this opportunity to mention a few enlightening examples of this upright methodology
from the texts of the Quraan and Sunnah.
Allaah

has said:

:
O you who believe! Say not (while addressing the Messenger

) Raaina listen to us, (which was a word

also used by the Jews to disrespect the Messenger

when addressing him), but say Unthurna (give us your
attention) and listen (to him attentively). And for the disbelievers there is a painful torment. {Al-Baqarah: 104}

Allaah

has said:

:
It is made lawful for you to have sexual relations with your wives on the night of As-Saum (the fasts). They are
Libaas (i.e. body-cover, or screen, or your enjoyment is in living with them in pleasure) for you and you are the
same for them. Allaah knows that you used to deceive yourselves, so He turned to you (accepted your
repentance) and forgave you. So now you may have sexual relations with them and seek that which Allaah has
ordained for you (offspring), and eat and drink until the white thread (light) of dawn appears to you distinct
from the black thread (darkness of night), then complete your Saum (fast) till the nightfall{Al-Baqarah:187}

Allaah

has said:

:
O you who believe! Take not My enemies and your enemies (i.e. disbelievers and polytheists) as
friends/allies, showing affection towards them, while they have disbelieved in what has come to you of the
truth (i.e. Islamic Monotheism, this Quran, and Muhammad
), and have driven out the Messenger
(Muhammad
) and yourselves (from your homeland) because you believe in Allaah, your Lord! If you have
come forth to strive in My cause and to seek My good pleasure, (then take not these disbelievers and
polytheists, as your friends/ allies). You show friendship to them in secret, while I am All-Aware of what you
conceal and what you reveal. And whosoever of you (Muslims) does that, then indeed he has gone (far)
astray from the Straight Path. {Al-Mumtahanah: 1}

While in the Sunnah of the Messenger

there are countless examples which depict his diligence
and immense efforts in rectifying the errors which would occur. Let us look at some of these
profound examples.

Al-Imam Muslim reported in his Saheeh (1227) on the authority of Muawiyah bin al-Hakam asSulamy

narrated:

I once prayed with the Messenger of Allah, and a person among us sneezed. I (responded) by saying:
Yaritamuk Allaah (Allah have mercy on you). The people started glaring at me, so I said: May my mother
lose me! What is the matter that you are staring at me? So they began hitting their thighs with theirhands,
and I realized that theywere telling me to remain silent Uthman (one of the narrators) said: So when I
saw that they were telling me to remain silent, I became quiet. When the Messenger of Allah finished
the prayer, then may my mother and father be given in ransom for him he did not hit me, nor was he
harsh with me, nor did he curse me; rather, he said: This prayer (that we pray) it is not
permissible to speak in it the speech of men. Rather, it is for praising Allah, glorifying him,
and reciting the Quran, or as said by the Messenger of Allah

While al-Imam an-Nisaaee reported (3773) on the authority of Qutailah al-Juhaniyah may Allaah
be pleased with her- said that a Jewish man came to the Messenger of Allah
and said:
Indeed you (Muslims) associate partners with Allaah and commit shirk. You say: What Allaah wills and
you will (i.e. the Prophet ), and you say: (in your oaths) By the Kabah! . So the Prophet
commanded them (i.e. the Companions) when they wish to make an oath that they say: By the Lord of
the Kabah, and that they say: What Allaah wills and then you will.
{The hadeeth was authenticated by al-Allaamatu al-Waadie

in his book as-Saheeh al-Musnad hadeeth no. 1638.}

In this hadeeth we see the profound eagerness of the Messenger in leaving the believers upon clarity
in their religion that even if an error in a particular matter was pointed out by a Jew he
would
acknowledge this.

The previous evidences firmly establish the fact that directing one another to our errors is from the
utmost obligations of al-Islaam. Al-Imam an-Nawawi
mentioned in his explanation of the
Saheeh Muslim (2/22):

there has unified as to the obligation of commanding with good and forbidding from evil, the
Book (of Allaah) and the Sunnah as well as the consensus of the ummah (the Nation of
Muhammad ). And it (commanding with good and forbidding from evil) is from naseehah
(advice) which is from the religion. And none has disputed this besides certain Raafidah, and their
opposition is not to be considered

Yet with this, it has been mentioned by the people of knowledge that the one who criticizes and
disparages the mistakes which may occur from the people should be just in his criticisms, impartial
and free from transgression and oppression.

Shaykhul-Islaam Ibnu-Taymiyah

mentioned in his book Minhaaj as-Sunnah (4/337):

And statements (made) against the people must be upon knowledge and justicenot ignorance
and oppression such as the people of innovation.

However, if the criticisms which are made against a person contain malice, bias and injustice, then
not only are they not to be accepted, but they are to be rejected and refuted.

DISPARAGING OTHERS FOR ERRORS WHICH ARE PRESENT WITHIN

YOURSELF!
Certainly from the great downfalls which can afflict a person, is for his errors to become
unapparent to him, while he is keen and eager in the rectification of faults of others. The
abhorrence of such foul conduct increases even more, when it is found a person of knowledge who
is to be the most just and fearing of the people of Allaah
The noble Imam Ibnul Qayim

in his dealings with the people.

stated in his book ilaam al-Muwaqieen (3/497):

And Allah
loves justice. Rather it is the best adornment that a man can adorn himself with,
especially the one who positions himself as a judge between statements and doctrines, and
Allaah
has told His Messenger:
:
And I (i.e. Muhammad

) am commanded to do justice among you {Ash-Shura: 15}

Therefore, the inheritors of the Prophets their position is justice between the sects, and that one
of them does not incline towards his relative or his companions of the same creed or his group or
his leader. Rather the truth is what he seeks
Hence, a person of knowledge should be the furthest of the people condemning others for matters
which are present in him or that he has established in his speech and/or actions. This is because
such conduct depicts a lack of equity within that person and as such causes the admiration and
reverence of the people for him to diminish.

A poet once articulated this great atrocity of condemning others for a flaw which is found in ones
own self by saying:

I was astonished by the one who cries tears over the demise of others.

And he does not cry over his own demise blood.

And more astonishing than this, is that he views the mistakes of others as enormous.

Yet in his eyes, his errors he is blind of them.

The abovementioned quotes are surely a stern reminder of the repulsiveness which is in
condemning others for the mistakes present within oneself.

Unfortunately, the recently publicized introductions of Shaykh Rabee which he wrote in refutation
of Shaykh Yahya have left many of Ahlus-Sunnah perplexed. If the lack of equity on the part of
Shaykh Rabee may Allaah better his condition- was not enough, he has further accused Shaykh
Yahya may Allaah preserve him- of matters which he himself has established in some of his
works!?

Let us now look at Two Examples of This from the Criticisms of

Shaykh Rabee:
Shaykh Yahya may Allaah aid him- mentioned his book ar-Riyaadh al-Mustadhaabah:
From that which was made easy for me by Allaah was the gathering (of the names of)
whatever Companions I was able to, that have (narrated) only one hadeeth in the Six
Books3 and Musnad Ahmad for two reasons:
Firstly, acquainting oneself with the Companions may Allaah be pleased with them- and
preponderating an opinion establishing the fact that an individual was, or was not a Companion -as
the case may be- with reference to three comprehensive compilations which are: Al-Isteeb by Ibn
Abdil-Barr, Usd Al-Ghbah by Ibn Atheer, and Al-Isbah by Ibn Hajar may Allaah have mercy on
them all. Very rarely is a Companion missed by this threesome.

The second reason is: acquaintance with those of the Companions that only narrated a single
hadeeth. The name of a Companion that has narrated but a single hadeeth is likely to stick in ones
mind and this is aprecious academic benefit; knowing that this particular Companion has only one
hadeeth in the Six Books or the rest. If our scholars may Allaah have mercy upon them- gave
importance to that which Muslim reported apart from Al-Bukhree and that which Al-Bukhree
reported apart from Muslim and several of them, such as Ibn Al-Mulaqqin and others, compiled
books on the subject, then attaching importance to those of the Companions that narrated but
one hadeeth is easier to recall and more desirable.4

Even with the clarity of the previous speech of Shaykh Yahya, Shaykh Rabee may Allaah better
his condition- derived from it the following baffling conclusions:
In this book of his, he (i.e. Shaykh Yahya) does not quote biographical material related to the
Companions, in fact, he does not even say, May Allaah be pleased with them!(?!)

Shaykh Yahya responded to this absurd claim on page (24) of his article Nubadun Nabeelah by
saying:
3

The scholars have mentioned that what is intended by The Six Books is Saheeh al-Bukhari, Saheeh Muslim, Sunan Abi Dawood,
Jaami at-Tirmidhi, Sunan an-Nisaaee (also known as al-Mujtabaa) and the Sunan Ibn Majaah.

Most, if not all of the quotes from Shaykh Yahyas article Nubadhun Nabeelah have been taken from the translation of the article
which can be read at www.TheSincereAdvisor.com.
NOTE: Slight variations are present in this article in the translation of certain words or statements.

10

even more appalling is Sheikh Rabees allegation that I do not say, May Allaah be
pleased with them (i.e. about the Companions). He wishes to support his accusation that I
do not love the Companions from which I seek refuge in Allaah .
One can plainly see that in the introduction to my book (i.e. ar-Riyaadh al-Mustadhaabah) I
say, ...and surely from the beneficial sciences and research topics which are fruitful,[is (being)
acquainted with the Companions of the Messenger
, taking pleasure in reading their
biographies and benefiting from their (superior) characteristics and great noble deeds may
Allaah be pleased with them all-,]5 which awaken in the hearts a desire to worship Allaah by way
of ones great love for them and (having) hatred for those who hate them (i.e. the Companions)
and mentions them with other than good.

In this, and all my other books, lessons, and sermons I say, may Allaah be pleased with
them, unless it happens to be omitted during typesetting by the printers for the sake of
brevity.
As for myself, all praise is for Allaah-, I consider love of the Companions and saying, May Allaah
be pleased with them,an act of worship that draws me closer to Allaah

As it is seen here, from as early as the forward to the book ar-Riyaadh al-Mustadhaabah, Shaykh
Yahya may Allaah preserve him- supplicates seeking for the pleasure of Allaah
to be upon the
Companions of the Messenger . Furthermore, Shaykh Yahyas supplication for Allaahs pleasure
of to be upon the Companions individually or as a whole- is not restricted to the forward of his
book. Shaykh Yahya may Allaah aid him- throughout the book ar-Riyaadh al-Mustadhaabah goes on
to supplicate for the pleasure of Allaah to be upon them more than seventy five times*6!!
These are all clear evidences and undisputable facts which disprove the allegation of Shaykh Rabee
where he said:
From this excerpt we can hold against Al-Hajooree that:
In this book of his he does not quote biographic material related to the Companions, in
fact, he does not even say, May Allaah be pleased with them! (?!)

The parts outside of the two brackets [] are a translation of the complete speech of Shaykh Yahya which he mentioned in the
introduction to his book ar-Riyaadh al-Mustadhaabah. The speech can be found on page (8) of Shaykh Yahya refutation Nubadun
Nabeelah...
6
This can be found in the article compiled by translated to mean Some of the places where Shaykh Yahya supplicated for the
Pleasure of Allaah to be upon the Companions in his book ar-Riyaadh al-Mustadhaabah

11

In light of this, it is clear to see that the statement of Shaykh Rabee may Allaah rectify his
condition- is surely in opposition to the statement of Allaah

:
"And whenever you give your word (i.e. judge between men or give evidence), say the truth even if it
concerns a near relative, and fulfill the Covenant of Allaah. This He commands you with so that you may
remember."{Al-Anaam:152}

As well as the stern warning in the hadeeth of the Messenger

.
And whoever accuses a Muslim of that which he is free from; Allaah shall make his abode in the
sweat/puss/discharge of the people of the fire, until he exits from his statement.7
{Reported by Abu Dawood (3597) on the authority of Ibn Umar
and was authenticated by alAllaamahtu alWaadie in his book as-Saheeh al-Musnad (Hadeeth no.755).}

Most astonishing of all, the noble Shaykh Yahya bin Ali may Allaah aid him- pointed out in his
dignified response to Shaykh Rabee Nubadun Nabeelah (25) that while Shaykh Rabee may
Allaah better his condition- is unjustly criticizing him of not supplicating for Allaahs pleasure to be
upon the Companions, in Shaykh Rabees book Bayanal-Imamain; Muslim wa Daraqutni[which is from
his profound works in hadeeth comprising of nearly four hundred and fifty pages and ninety five
ahaadeeth reported by a number of Companions
]8rarely will you find that he supplicates for
the pleasure of Allaah
to be upon them!?
In numerous places throughout the book, Shaykh Rabee mentions a Companion of the Messenger
without supplicating for them! However, no one would presume that Shaykh Rabee is

Some of the people of knowledge have explained until he exits from his statement as being: either he is punished according to
the magnitude of the sin the he exits from that punishment or he is rescued by an intercession or the accuser is forgiven. Return to

That which is between these brackets [], are important additions to the speech of the Shaykh Yahya may Allaah aid him- added by
the author.

attempting to belittle the Companions

by not supplicating for them as he claims about Shaykh
Yahya and this is truly a sign of inequity on his part.
Now to the Second Example:

Shaykh Rabee may Allaah better his condition- also stated about Shaykh Yahya:
And with this he enters them (i.e. the Companions) into this dark chapter by using excessive
severity in criticism of the narrators of the ahaadeeth and in declaring their grade. If adh-Dhahabee
has to say (about a particular narrator), Deemed trustworthy, and Al-Haafidh Ibn Hajar says,
Acceptable, we find Al-Hajooree saying, Of unknown condition, or, Unknown.
Here Shaykh Rabee may Allaah rectify his condition- declares Shaykh Yahya to apply excessive
severity in his rulings upon certain narrators by deeming them unknown while al-Haafidh Ibn Hajr
has referred to the same narrator as maqbool (Acceptable) and adh-Dhahabi
has stated
about him wuthhiq (Deemed trustworthy). However, this criticism of Shaykh Rabee in itself is
imprecise from several angles and Shaykh Rabee may Allaah rectify his condition- of all people
knows this quite well.

Firstly, the people of knowledge have clarified past and present that the terminologies of the
scholars must be taken into consideration in order for their speech to be understood correctly. AlImam as-San'aani
clarified in his book Towdheeh al-Afkaar (1/190) that the one who does not
take the terminologies of the scholars of hadeeth into consideration or is unacquainted with them;
surely he has put his mistake on the shoulders of the Imams i.e. by misinterpreting their speech and
misunderstanding their intent. For with sure knowledge of their terminologies which they
have put down for the sciences of Hadeeth, then he will not make this mistake.9

Hence, it is a must that the terminologies of the scholars are given their proper due consideration
and placed in their appropriate places so that what they intended is clearly understood. If we were
to take another look at the previous criticism of Shaykh Rabee may Allaah rectify our condition

13

and his- we would see in fact that what Shaykh Yahya stated is not an error at all, but is actually the
correct stance which is also held by other scholars of the sciences of Hadeeth.

When the great muhaddith of our error al-Allaamahtu al-Albani

was asked what was intended
by the statement of adh-Dhahabi
wuthhiq (Deemed trustworthy), he clarified that this
statement of al-Imam adh-Dhahabi does not necessitate that, that specific narrator is trustworthy.

He then went on to clarify that al-Haafidh Ibn Hajr

may refer to a narrator as maqbool
(Acceptable) while it is known that only one other person/narrator has ever heard from that
particular narrator. It is also known from the terminologies laid down by the muhaditheen that one
whose state is as such is referred to in the sciences of hadeeth as majhool al-ayn i.e. one whose
nature/state is unknown!10

In the biography of the narrator Qudamah bin Wabrah al-Ujaify al-Basri, al-Imam adh-Dhahabi
stated about him wuthhiq (Deemed trustworthy) in his book al-Kashif (2/398). While adhDhahabi stated about this same narrator in his book Dewaan adh-Duafaa (Pg. 253) majhool
unknown!

Thus, we benefit from this previous speech of that the statement of al-Haafidh Ibn Hajr; maqbool
(Acceptable) or the statement of adh-Dhahabi; wuthhiq (Deemed trustworthy), are not counted
to be statements in which they are attempting to declare a narrator trustworthy or reliable. Rather,
they may even mention these statements in relation to narrators whom they hold to be majaheel
(unknown).

On another note, this is not a matter hidden from Shaykh Rabee; rather this exact terminology is
something that he is very familiar with and also confirmed in some of his previous works. For
example, in the book Taqseem al-Hadeeth ila as-Saheeh wal-Hassan wad-Dhaeef (Pgs.46-47), Shaykh

* For further clarification, as to majhool al-aynrefer to for example, the explanation of the book al-Haafidh Ibn Hajr himself
Nukhabahtul-Fikr explained by al-Qaari in the chapter of the reporter who is majhool (unknown person).

14

Rabee mentioned a hadeeth which he declared it to be weak. Shaykh Rabee then mentioned several
reasons as to why the hadeeth was weak. The second of these reasons he mentioned was because in
the chain of narration there was a reporter who was unknown.

Shaykh Rabee said in the aforementioned book:

and the second (weakness of the hadeeth), is the jahaalah (the anonymity) of Younus bin Ubaid.
Adh-Dhahabi stated in his biography in the book al-Mughni11: It is not known who he is.
Ibn Hibban declared him trustworthy.
And he (i.e. adh-Dhahabi) said in his book al-Kaashif12(about Younus bin Ubaid):
Wuthhiq(Deemed trustworthy) and he has reported a single hadeeth.
While al-Haafidh in (his book) at-Taqreeb13 said: maqbool(Acceptable)

Here the noble reader can see clearly that Shaykh Rabee has criticized the reporter Younus bin
Ubaid with al-jahaalah i.e. being unknown. Yet, this iswhile this same narrator has been
declared by al-Haafidh Ibn Hajr as maqbool(Acceptable) and adh-Dhahabi has said about him
wuthhiq,(Deemed trustworthy). Therefore it is quite clear from this, that Shaykh Rabee has
criticized against Shaykh Yahya that which he himself has confirmed and established in his own
book!!

Rather Shaykh Rabee has even gone a step further than a mere criticism and said:
And from the examples of him (i.e. Shaykh Yahya) using excessive severity in criticism of
the narrators of the hadeeths and in declaring their grade. (!!)

From what has passed, the noble readers are able to see that these criticisms of Shaykh Rabee
may Allaah better his condition- are not free from injustice and oppression. By Allaah, where is
this excessive severity against the narrators or grading them? How is it that the one who has been

referred to as the Flag bearer of Jarh wa Tadeel criticizes and rebukes Shaykh Yahya over matters
which he himself has confirmed? This in itself is a contradiction and opposition to the etiquettes
of Jarh wa Tadeel! It is quite befitting that Shaykh Rabee may Allaah better our condition and his
- recalls the statements of Allaah
:

:
Do you enjoin al-Birr (piety and righteousness and every act of obedience to Allaah) upon the people and you
forget (to practice it) yourselves, while you recite the Scripture [the Taurt (Torah)]! Have you then no sense?
{Al-Baqarah: 44}

This excessive criticism on the part of Shaykh Rabee may Allaah better his condition- which is in
fact undeserved also leaves one to wonder as to why he did not show this type of melancholy and
displeasure against his own self when he excessively criticized the trustworthy narrator Hishaam bin
Ghaaz may Allaah have mercy on him-.
Even after he was advised and the evidences were presented which indisputably confirm that
Hishaam bin Ghaaz was declared a trustworthy reliable narrator by several scholars of hadeeth,
Shaykh Rabee was adamant upon his erroneous stance and persisted upon it14. We ask Allaah to
make us just and impartial in our judgments and to distance us from oppression and injustice.

What further baffles and perplexes the seeker of truth, is that there have been many criticisms
made against Shaykh Yahya may Allaah aid him-, much, much graver than what Shaykh Rabee
has chosen to make the focus of his refutation. Why then has Shaykh Rabee may Allaah better
his condition- chosen to neglect those supposed destructive deviations of Shaykh Yahya which
have been circulated for several years and instead turn towards this book?

The following link contains clarification of the error which occurred from Shaykh Rabee may Allaah better his condition- in his
weakening of the narration that the first adhaan on the day of Jumuah due to narrator Hishaam bin Ghaaz.

A GLANCE AT THE CRITICISMS MADE AGAINST SHAYKH YAHYA BIN

ALI AL-HAJOOREE HAFITHUHULLAAHSurely, it has been circulated for quite some time now, that the oppositions and deviations of
Shaykh Yahya al-Hajooree have reached ONE HUNDRED ERRORS. Hence, one would
certainly be sure that these GRAVE MISTAKES and others which were supposedly gathered by
people or students of knowledge would definitely be present in the two books of Shaykh Rabee.
How could this not be, when these articles have clearly been written in refutation of the so-called
corrupt usool (foundations), destructive qawaaid (principles) and horrid innovations of
Yahya al-Hajuri?!

Not to mention the fact that many of these articles have been continually recommended by the
members of the Spubs the likes of Amjad Rafeeq15 and Abu Khadeeja (al-Juweyhil). While the
known underachiever, Bilal Davis went even further, squandering much of his time in translating
much of the article16 for the English speaking public!

This individual whose unsavory reputation has earned him the nickname The British Barmaki is a baleful, culpable individual
whose underhanded efforts in intentionally drawing the speech of Shaykh Yahya may Allaah preserve him- out of context in order
to vilify the Shaykh have become apparent to many. This Barmaki of the West should know well that his unjust doings will be of no
avail on the day he stands in front of Allaah

delight in his article but they made it their front page on their site alhajoridotcom and declared it to be from the most conceive and
comprehensive refutations against Shaykh Yahya!? This clearly shows that these individuals at SPUBS are not with Shaykh Rabee as
they make seem to their supporters, but are instead with the Hizb of AbdurRahman al-Adeni. We ask Allaah to safeguard us from
the evils of hizbiyah.
NOTE: The noble reader should be well aware that Bilal Davisin his translation of the aforementioned article did not take all ONE
HUNDRED ERRORS from this one article. Rather his shamelessness and lack of fear of Allaah lead him to return back to the works of
his old beloved Shaykh Faalih al-Harbee the known Hadaadee innovator and his followers in an attempt to muster what he could
from falsehood to smear the honor of Shaykh Yahya with. This is truly a conviction of the Messenger
statement:
Abu Masood al-Ansaari
narrated that the Messenger said: One of the (basic) sayings of the early Nubuwwah (Prophethood)
which the people have got is: If you are not ashamed, then do whatever you like. Reported by al-Bukhari (Hadeeth no. 6120)
**The clarification of Bilals falsehoods can be read here in the following link: http://aloloomenglish.net/vb/showthread.php?1135Refutation-of-the-treachery-of-Bilaal-Davis-by-AbuFajr-AbdulFattaah

17

Nearly ten years since the fitnah began it could only be imagined; what will Shaykh Rabee highlight
and rebuke from the great errors of Shaykh Yahya -may Allaah preserve him-. After all it was
Shaykh Rabee may Allaah better his condition- who referred to Shaykh Yahya on different
occasions as being a Hadaadi as well asthe most harmful person to ad-Dawah as-Salafiyah
and even said that there is NONE more harmful than Yahya. Not to mention that he deemed
the students of Shaykh Yahya may Allaah preserve him- to possess ghulu (extremism) the likes
which has not been seen.

Thus, one could only ask himself; what Shaykh Rabee may Allaah better his condition- would
mention in these two books of his. Would he refute him upon their claim thathe sees that the
Messenger
can not be accepted without proof?
Or because, he claimed the Messenger erred in the means of dawah?
Or because, he accuses Uthman
innovating into Islaam?

of being an innovator -and in another narration- of

Or maybe because he slandered the name of the Sahabah by accusing them of participating
in the killing of Uthman

Or even because he states the Companions of the Messenger originated the innovation of
irjaa?

As surely these are just some of the supposed major innovations of al-Hajuri which have been
circulated about the noble Shaykh.

18

The reality of the matter is, since the beginning of the fitnah of AbdurRahman al-Adeni up until
today, the long anticipated refutation which would leave no doubt as to the corrupt usool
(foundations), destructive qawaaid (principles) and horrid innovations of Yahya al-Hajuri is
still to be found!! After many of those who longed so much for the refutation of Shaykh Rabee
raced to read the contents of the books, that which they yearned for was no where to be found and
the example of these books became to them as Allaah
stated:

:
Like a mirage in a desert. The thirsty one thinks it to be water until he comes up to it; he finds it to be
nothing {An-Noor: 39}

Shaykh Rabee may Allaah better his condition- instead of presenting his evidences as why he has
declared Shaykh Yahya to be an innovator and the MOST harmful person to ad-Dawah asSalafiyah, has instead diverted to a totally unrelated topic. He has given much effort in the
compilation of two complete volumes in clarifying what he has deemed to be errors largely in the
rulings of ShaykhYahya may Allaah aid him- in a number of ahaadeeth in his ar-Riyaadh alMustadhaabah

19

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE BOOK AR-RIYAADH AL-MUSTADHAABAH

The book ar-Riyaadh al-Mustadhaabah was authored by Shaykh Yahya bin Ali al-Hajooree may
Allaah preserve him- in the Holy Month of Muharram in the year of 1423, approximately thirteen
years ago. His aim in this book as he mentioned in his introduction- was to gather the ahaadeeth of
the Messenger
reported by every Companion who only reported one hadeeth from the
Messenger .

Shaykh Yahya also stated in his introduction that he would be searching for the ahaadeeth of those
Companions
solely in the six renowned collections of Prophetic narrations known as al-Kutub
as-Sittah as well as Musnad al-Imam Ahmed. In his forward he also clarified some of the reasons
which led him to compose the book ar-Riyaadh al-Mustadhaabah by saying:
.and surely from the beneficial sciences and research topics which are fruitful, is (being)
acquainted with the Companions of the Messenger , taking pleasure in reading their biographies
and benefiting from their (superior) characteristics and great noble deeds may Allaah be pleased
with them all-, which awaken in the hearts a desire to worship Allaah by way of ones great
love for them and (having) hatred for those who hate them (i.e. the Companions) and
mentions them with other than good.

This fragment of speech clearly depicts the great admiration and reverence of Shaykh Yahya may
Allaah aid him- for the Companions of the Messenger
and that this is actually from the reasons
which lead him to compose this book.

After the book ar-Riyaadh al-Mustadhaabah was authored nearly thirteen years ago, it became known
to numerous mashaaykh and countless students of knowledge in Yemen and elsewhere.
Shortly after the book was published in the 2003, ar-Riyaadh al-Mustadhaabah was even announced
and publicized on the site Sahabdotnet17 the very same site Shaykh Rabees statements and or
advices, articles, refutations, and fataawa (Islamic verdicts) have been being posted now for a period
exceeding twenty years!!
17

The following link contains the propagation of the book ar-Riyaadh al-Mustadhaabah on the website Sahabdotnet?! The same
site which is now criticizing Shaykh Yahya for the book?! O Allaah! Preserve us upon the Sunnah.
www.sahab.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=36587

20

This is surely a strong indication that Shaykh Rabee was familiar with the book ar-Riyaadh alMustadhaabah to say the least, seeing as it was openly promoted on Sahabdotnet. The question
which comes to mind is, why then has Shaykh Rabee now chosen after nearly thirteen years to
clarify what he has seen as major mistakes which have occurred in the book?18

18

What further establishes that Shaykh Rabee himself was aware of the book ar-Riyaadh al-Mustadhaabah is that he said on page
(3) of his forward:
As to proceed: Certainly Allaah decreed for me to read, months ago the book of Yahya al-Hajooree which he titled ar-Riyaadh alMustadhaabah
The point from this speech of Shaykh Rabee being that he did not say I came across the book of Yahya al-Hajooree or I was informed
of the book of Yahya al-Hajooree which would indicate that he had no previous knowledge of the book. Hence this further supports
what was stated previously that Shaykh Rabee was well aware of the book of Shaykh Yahya for quite sometime.

21

WHY HAS SHAYKH RABEE CHOSEN TO REFUTE THIS BOOK

PARTICULARLY ?
Since the fitnah of the innovators Abul-Hassan al-Marabi, Faalih al-Harbee as well as his cohort
Fawzi al-Bahraini these individuals and/or their supporters made much effort in attempting to
mark Shaykh Yahya with defaming the Companions of the Messenger . However, by the praise
of Allaah
their falsehoods were refuted, their plans foiled their efforts in vain, and such
nonsense was not accepted by Ahlus-Sunnah.

Yet at the time that those fabrications and slanderous statements were being circulated by those
innovators and their supporters, Shaykh Rabee did not accept those fraudulent claims and he
continued to give praise and recommendation to Shaykh Yahya despite what was being said.

Years later however, when the fitnah of Abdur-Rahman al-Adeni occurred, his fanatical supporters
as well as those whose chests concealed rancor and grudges for Shaykh Yahya, began circulating
the fabrications and false claims of those who came before them in an attempt to tarnish the honor
and reputation of the noble Shaykh once again. After much effort on the part of these fanatics
from the hizb of Abdur-Rahman al-Adeni, the same falsehoods and fabrications which were once
rejected and denounced in the past began to gain acceptance by certain individuals for reasons
which are not hidden from Allaah
.19

From this group of people, much to the astonishment of Ahlus-Sunnah is Shaykh Rabee bin
Haadee may Allaah better his condition-. This is while Shaykh Rabee knows well the falsity of
the claim that Shaykh Yahya belittles the Companions of the Messenger . Yet in this ongoing
fitnah of Abdur-Rahman al-Adeni sadly, it has become clear that Shaykh Rabee himself has begun
suggesting and implying this same falsehood.
19

Yet worse than this group, are those who once defended Shaykh Yahya from the false allegations of these innovators only to come
forward years later and accuse him of that which they once deemed him free from. These individuals being the likes of Abdul-Azeez
al-Buree, who accused Shaykh Yahya and his students of gathering the errors of the Messenger
, while he himself is from the
first to know the falsehood of this claim. Thus to him and his likes applies the narration of Hudhayfa bin al-Yamaan
who said:
Certainly misguidance; true misguidance, is for you to acknowledge that which you use to deny, and for you to deny that which
you use to acknowledge. And Beware of at-Talowwun* in the religion for indeed the religion of Allaah is one!!
*Ibn Mandhour amongst other scholars- clarified in his renowned book Lisaan al-Arab whilst defining at-Talowwun: ...and so and
so is mutalowwin (this is said) if he does not adhere to a single characteristic. .i.e. his behavior is continually changing.

22

However, Shaykh Rabee is from the first to know that establishing this type of false claim is surely
an unattainable feat indeed. Hence, instead of openly accusing Shaykh Yahya with the
falsehoods circulated by some of the heads of this current fitnah likes of Arafaat al-Barmaki, Ali alHuthafee, Hani Buraik20 and Mustapha Mubram, whose falsehoods have been uncovered for any
seeker of truthto see, Shaykh Rabee has instead chosen to scrutinize the book of Shaykh Yahya
ar-Riyaadh al-Mustadhaabah, perhaps he may find something in the speech of Shaykh Yahya which
he can criticize against him.

Yet even after the exertion of much effort in dissecting of the book of Shaykh Yahya, Shaykh
Rabee may Allaah better his condition-, did not produce any convincing evidence that Shaykh
Yahya belittled or disparaged a single Companion of the Messenger . His efforts have
instead lead to the compilation of two whole volumes in what he holds to be errors on the part of
Shaykh Yahya as to his rulings on a number of ahaadeeth in his book. Shaykh Rabee has also
deduced from these rulings which he has declared erroneous, that they are a transgression against
the Companions and a maltreatment of them
?! This is while Shaykh Yahya may Allaah aid
him- has treaded the methodology of the scholars of hadeeth in his rulings and so has not in
anyway maltreated or defamed the Companions

The noble readers should be well aware, that the errors which may occur from the people of
knowledge in their weakening and authenticating of narrations based upon the principles set by
the scholars of hadeeth, does not result in any way, shape or form to belittling the Companions
of the Messenger
sciences of Hadeeth.

. Rather this statement in itself is something foreign and unknown to the

For this reason Shaykh Yahya may Allaah preserve him- stated in his article an-Nubadh an-Nabeelah
(Pg. 5), in response to this unjust accusation of Shaykh Rabee by saying:

20

When these false claims and fabrications against Shaykh Yahya may Allaah aid him- were built upon transgression and oppression
we find these individuals who united upon this transgression against Shaykh Yahya have turned against themselves. For example
Haani Buraik who is from those who have clearly transgressed against Shaykh Yahya in this current fitnah of Abdur-Rahman alAdeni. Yet today we see the mashaykh of Yemen including Muhammad bin Abdul-Wahaab al-Wasaabee whom Spubs stated to be
from the kibaar al-ulema (major scholars) warning against Haani Buraik and declaring him to be a person of fitnah even though he
has been praised and recommended by Shaykh Rabee may Allaah rectify his condition-. We seek refuge in Allaah from the evil end
of oppression.

23

Declaring a particular hadeeth to be weak and stating the reason for its weakness is in no way
demeaning the Sunnah, (nor) is it a depreciation or ill-treatment of the Companions may Allaah be
pleased with them all-. These words (of Shaykh Rabee) contain exaggeration. The books of the
Sunnah, past and present, are filled with rulings made on ahaadeeth according to the rules of the
science of Hadeeth. No upright person has ever declared this to be ill-treatment of the
Companions, a depreciation of them, or not conferring upon them their deserved status. We seek
refuge in Allaah

from going beyond bounds

The scholars have also clarified that the matter of authenticating and weakening ahaadeeth returns
back to ijtihaad.

Al-Imam at-Tirmidhi

mentioned in the end of his Jaami (5/756):

and the scholars have differed in relation to at-Tadheef (i.e. declaring weak) the narrators (who are
present in the chains of narration) just as they have differed in other than this from the different
sciences.
While al-Imam as-Sanaani

stated in his book Irshaad an-Nuqaad (pg.2):

At-Tasheeh (i.e. declaring a hadeeth authentic) and at-Tadheef (declaring a hadeeth weak) is from the
matters of ijtihaad which is theoretical.

Furthermore, the muhaddith of the Yemen in his era, Muqbil bin Haadi al-Waadiee
mentioned
in response to a question posed to him, that the hadeeth which is mursal if it is supported with
another hadeeth which is also mursal in addition to other conditions- some scholars the likes of alImam ash-Shafiee have mentioned that the hadeeth gains strength by this and elevates to the level of
being used as a hujjah (an evidence). Al-Allaamatu al-Waadiee then went on to clarify that these
matters are from the matters of ijtihaad which are not binding upon the people. He then concluded
his response by saying:

This is because the matter of at-Tasheeh (i.e. declaring a hadeeth authentic) and at-Tadheef (declaring a
hadeeth weak) is built upon ghalabatu adh-dhan (i.e. a thought or opinion which has high
probability of being correct). Al-Muqtaraah question no. 199.

24

The speech of these great scholars has clearly depicted that the weakening and authenticating of
narrations is based upon the principles of the scholars of hadeeth, and is a matter of ijitihaad
which is accepting to the independent judgment of the scholar who has excerpted much effort in
achieving the truth in relation to the ahaadeeth.

This being the case, then it is quite appropriate that the rulings made upon the ahaadeeth in
accordance to the methodology of the scholars of hadeeth- are given their deserved right. Meaning
that, what is correct from these rulings is welcomed and accepted and what is erroneous from
amongst them is rejected and refused. Without misconstruing the matter or taking this to mean
other than it is. The Messenger
has also informed us that the scholar after striving in achieving
that which is correct is rewarded a single reward even if his conclusion was erroneous.
It was reported by al-Bukhari (7352) and Muslim (4584) on the authority of Amr bin Aas
the Messenger
said:

that

If a judge gives a verdict according to the best of his knowledge and his verdict is correct (i.e., agrees with
the ruling of Allaah and His Messenger's), he will receive a double reward, and if he strives and gives
a verdict according to the best of his knowledge and his verdict is wrong (i.e. not in
accordance to that of Allaah and His Messenger) even then he will get a reward.
Furthermore, the allegation that a scholar has wronged or maltreated a Companion of the
Messenger
merely because he declared a hadeeth which that Companion
narrated to be weak
based upon the principles found in the sciences of hadeeth is not only baseless, but also
imposes that countless scholars throughout time have wronged the Companions
. As
surely a great number of them have erred in their rulings with regard to particular ahaadeeth and
certainly the futility of this claim is quite plain for any person of reasoning to see!

25

WHY DID SHAYKH RABEE INITIALLY ONLY PUBLICILIZE THE

FORWARD TO HIS REFUTATIONS?
A person may ask themselves; if your statement is in fact true and the book ar-Riyaadh alMustadhaabah was authored approximately thirteen years ago and even publicized on Sahabdotnet,
why then has Shaykh Rabee may Allaah better his condition- chosen ONLY recently to make
public the introduction to his books and not the entire two volumes?21

Before attempting to shed light on this important subject, I would like to draw the attention of the
noble readers to the fact that Shaykh Rabee may Allaah rectify his condition and ours-, has been
criticized of late by a group of scholars from Ahlus-Sunnah due to some of his past and present
statements in the matter of Eeman which oppose the methodology of the Salaf.

Several scholars of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamaah have openly attested to the error of Shaykh Rabee
may Allaah better his condition- in the issue of al-Eeman. The noble scholar Shaykh Salih alFawzan22 was asked about certain statements of Shaykh Rabee may Allaah rectify his conditionin the matter of al-Eeman. Shaykh Saalih responded by referring to some of these statements of
Shaykh Rabee as a lie!!23

21

Note: This article was written over one and a half months ago but due to several matters its circulation was delayed. However,
within the third week of Jumaada ath-Thaniyah 1436; over two months since the introductions to his books were made public,
Shaykh Rabee may Allaah better his condition- has finally brought forward the complete two volumes.
22
The noble scholar Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzan may Allaah aid him- was also asked in the past about some books which were
publicized on the website Sahabdotnet such as the book Dhem al-Irjaa which was authored by Khaalid bin Abdur-Rahman al-Misri
and also publicized on the website Sahabdotnet, Shaykh Saalih may Allaah preserve him- responded by saying: The Shaykh alMisri (i.e. the author) and al-Jazairee abandon them! These (people) pretend to have knowledge and they take there knowledge
from one another and they accepted this ideology, they are one group. Shaykh Salih then said: These individuals, their
beliefs/ideologies are not circulated except by lies. They intentionally lie. Lying against the people, and lying against the Messenger
. They wish to circulate their false ideology. Then when Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzan was asked about authored by Rasheed bin
Ahmed al-Magrabi in which he responded to by saying: This is the group of Irjaa, this is the group of Irjaa. We have been trialed by
them in (our country) and abroad, but we ask Allaah for safety from their evil. In this, we see that Shaykh Fawzan clearly
condemned the previous authors as well as their works. This is while these articles were circulated on Sahabdotnet and even
praised and recommended by the flag bearer of Jarh wa-Tadeel Rabee bin Haadi al-Madhkhalee!?!?!
*Refer to the beneficial response of Abu Hatim Yusuf al-Jazairee to the errors of Shaykh Rabee in Eeman titled Al-Hujaj as-Salafiyah
bi Naqd Shubuhaat al-Madhkali (Pg.27-30)
Note: There are other examples mentioned in the article by Shaykh Yusuf may Allaah grant him success- we have only mentioned
two to preserve time. One can also return for further clarification about the errors of Shaykh Rabee in the matter of al-Eeman to
the article: Ayuha al-Mudafioon an ash-Shaykh Rabee written by Abu Abdillaah Hussain al-Jejli.
23
Taken from the beneficial response of Abu Hatim Yusuf al-Jazairee to the errors of Shaykh Rabee in Eeman titled Al-Hujaj asSalafiyah bi Naqd Shubuhaat al-Madhkali (Pg.106)

26

On the date of (1435/7/20) which corresponds with (2014/5/19), i.e. nearly one year ago, the
Committee of (Kibaar Ulema) Major Scholars in Saudi Arabia directed a letter to Shaykh
Rabee through the Mufti Abdul-Azeez Aal ash-Shaykh. This letter was sent to Shaykh Rabee in
response to his article (Al-Maqaalaat al-Athariyah) which they clarified contained errors. The
Committee also attached an enclosure within their letter to Shaykh Rabee containing refutations
and rebuttals against some of the doubts of the deviated sect known as the Murijah.24

This is all convincing evidence that several opinions of Shaykh Rabee may Allaah return him to
the truth- in al-Eeman contradicted the creed of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamaaah. Hence, when the
refutations which were written clarifying his errors were circulated, the introductions to Shaykh
Rabees books were made public at a convenient time and became shelter for him from the fierce
flames of the Salafee refutations which were beginning to scorch the falsehood of his incorrect
stances towards the belief of Ahlus-Sunnah in al-Eeman.

After this brief clarification, it seems that the prominent factor behind the publicizing of the
introductions of Shaykh Rabees criticisms against the book of ar-Riyaadh al-Mustadhaabah was an
attempt to divert the unwanted attention which the refutations against him were causing, away
from himself and onto Shaykh Yahya and the aid of Allaah is sought.

What further attests to this is the fact that Shaykh Rabee may Allaah better his condition- ONLY
publicized the introduction of the two books25initially along with their titles but not a single one of
the two separate volumes.

24

Abid.
Benefit: The word al-irjaa literally means to hold back and delay someone/something. The people of knowledge have mentioned
that this sect (i.e. the murjiah) obtained this title because they held back/prevented the righteous actions from entering the fold of
al-Eeman or in other words they denied that the actions are an essential part of al-Eeman. Additionally, other than this reason has
also been mentioned as to why this sect was given this title. The murjia sect has many innovations in the matters of belief and
otherwise which are mentioned in the books of Aqeedah.
25
At that time!

SHAYKH RABEES BOOKS A HEART-BREAKER FOR THE BLINDFOLLOWERS, FANATICS AND PROPAGANDISTS (SPUBS)
Much of Ahlus-Sunnah in Yemen and elsewhere have received the two books of Shaykh Rabee well,
with exception to the derogatory implications and incorrect presumptions of Shaykh Rabee may
Allaah rectify his condition in his introduction. The reason behind this being, that the books are a
true conviction to what was being said by many of Ahlus-Sunnah all along; that there is no
tangible evidence or substantial proofs in proving Shaykh Yahya bin Ali al-Hajooree may
Allaah preserve him- to be an innovator. This is undoubtedly a fact being that after all these
years, if Shaykh Rabee did in fact have decisive evidences that Shaykh Yahya is an innovator, then
he would not have hesitated in producing them so as to make clear that Shaykh Yahya may Allaah
preserve him- has exited the fold of as-Salafiyah as he had done with the innovators of the past.

On the other hand, these two books of Shaykh Rabee have been a great disappointment for many
and left countless hordes of people in awe. While in the West the vain dreams of the trivial bunch
at Spubs came to an end. After their solid fixation with Shaykh Yahya may Allaah preserve himhad even driven them to open a entire site26 filled with lies, slander, half truths and distortions, the
refutation they were so anticipating to propagate and endorse on their site alhajoridotcom is still to be
found.

For this reason, since the time the books of Shaykh Rabee were first publicized over two months
ago up until today27 after their release to the public, there is no mention of these books of the flag
bearer of Jarh wa Tadeel Rabee al-Madhkalee on the aforementioned website of theirs! This is
certainly because these individuals are well aware that publicizing the books of Shaykh Rabee
against Shaykh Yahya will be of more harm to them than benefit and will arouse doubts and
questions amongst their supporters which they are incapable of answering.

26

It was actually two sites. Seeing as the main subject of their site manhajdotcom was also the supposed deviations of Shaykh Yahya
may Allaah preserve him-. However, most probably when they realized that menhaj is much broader than a fixation with one
specific individual they decided to make a site solely for Shaykh Yahya. This is while we have not seen from in the past that they
created a site for their beloved mashaaykh of old who have deviated from the path of Ahlus-Sunnah, the likes of Abul-Hassan alMaribi, Ali al-Halibi, Falih al-Harbee, Fowzee al-Bahraini and recently Falah Ismaeel. And this is sufficient for any person with the
slightest equity to realize that the basis of these actions is transgression and oppression and it is not justice which they are after.
27
h
st
The 12 of Rajab 1436 which corresponds with the 01 of mayl 2015.

28

Not to mention, that the books themselves will contradict their fetid agenda of unjustly declaring
Shaykh Yahya may Allaah aid him- an innovator. Thus, instead of publicizing the works of their
allegedly beloved Shaykh Rabee whom they deceive their supporters by claiming they are with
him, they have chosen to continue in their promotion of the articles of individuals who are known
to be from those who have sided with AbdurRahman al-Adeni a known hizbee to the people of the
Sunnah in Yemen. Yet simply because these individuals have manifest their enmity towards Shaykh
Yahya and severely warned from him, they have now become mashaaykh and students of knowledge
when before this current fitnah -many if not all of them- were unknown not only to the Salafees of
the Western world, but even to the members of Spubs themselves?!

This goes to show that this trivial bunch at Spubs are not with Shaykh Rabee but are rather with
the members of al-hizb al-jadeed.28 What guidance and justice is then to be expected from these
individuals at Spubs who have taken misguided individuals as examples and mashaaykh?! Their
pathetic state brings to mind the statement of the poet who said:

***
And whoever has a crow for a guide*** It will take him past the decaying carcasses of dogs29

28
29

This was the titled given to the hizb of Abdur-Rahman al-Adeni.

In other words an evil companion or associate will only direct you to the foul and wicked things.

29

This is truly a crooked path and dubious methodology which this trivial bunch at Spubs treads
upon. Promoting and recommending individuals to their supporters merely because they have
written articles or made criticisms against Shaykh Yahya may Allaah aid him-. Surely if this trivial
bunch at the publication company which refers to itself as Salafii would have pondered over the
following ayah:
:

Say (O Muhammad
): "O Allaah! Possessor of the all-Sovereignty, You give the kingdom to whom You will,
and You take the kingdom from whom You will, and You endue with honor whom You will, and You
humiliate whom You will. In Your Hand there is all good. Verily, You are able to do all things. {Aal-Imran: 26}

They would surely have realized that it is Allaah the Mighty and Majestic who lowers whosoever he
desires from His creation and raises whosoever he desire and not anyone else!!

In summary, these refutations of Shaykh Rabee may Allaah better his condition and ours- are
rightly deserved of the Arabic proverb which states:

The mountain had labor pains/contractions and delivered a mouse.30

By the grace of Allaah , the previous pages have clarified - that these criticisms of Shaykh Rabee
against Shaykh Yahya may Allaah aid him- are not only far below the caliber of his past refutations
but consist of much transgression and oppression. Furthermore, not a single one of the supposed
destructive deviations of Yahya al-Hajuri was mentioned by Shaykh Rabee in his two entire
separate volumes. This in itself is a sufficient testimony to any sincere seeker of the truth as to the
falsehood of those who claim that Shaykh Yahya has opposed several foundations of the Salafi
Methodology.
30

This proverb is struck after anticipating something of significant or meaningful from a person of status but instead, after sometime
he produces something insignificant, completely below the standard expected from him.

30

If the matter was in fact as they claim, then it would have been an obligation for Shaykh Rabee not
today, but years ago to produce the fortified evidences which leave no doubt as to the reality of
these matters. Thus, again do we call the members of the publication company which refers to
itself as Salafi to repent from their propaganda and wasted efforts in misleading the people before a
time comes when remorse and regret over the past will be of no avail!

:
And Hell will be brought near that Day. On that Day will man remember, but how will that remembrance
(then) avail him? {Al-Fajr: 23}
