Manual Tongs
Manual Tongs are used to make or break drill pipe and casing joints. The
handling size of the tong can be adjusted by changing latch lug jaws. Manual
Tongs are constructed from the finest alloy steels, and machined to close
tolerances. All parts are heat treated for maximum strength. Before delivery
a magnetic particle inspection is performed to detect cracks in the metal. All
tongs are tested for performance before shipping. Tong sizes are available
to cover drill pipe and casing sizes from 2-3/8" OD through 30" OD. Torque
ratings will vary with the size of lug jaw used.

Rotary Slips

Rotary slips can accommodate drill pipe from 2-3/8 to 5-1/2 inch O.D. They
are classified as type Short (SDS), Medium (SDML) and Extra Long (SDXL)
according to the length of grip.
