Uninstalling Objective First from your

computer
The installation of Objective First consists of two parts:
the Objective First content
the Objective First application
To completely uninstall the Objective First software, you must
uninstall both parts by following the steps below:
Windows users
1.
Close Objective First if you are running it.
2.
From the Start menu, open the Control Panel.
3.
Double-click Add or Remove Programs (Windows XP) or
Programs and then Programs and Features (Windows Vista
and 7);
4.
Find Objective First application in the products list and
click it to highlight it.
5.
Click Remove (Windows XP) or Uninstall (Windows Vista and
7). The Objective First application is removed.
6.
Next, click on Objective First content to highlight it, click
Change/Remove (Windows XP) or Uninstall (Windows Vista and
7) and follow the onscreen instructions.
Mac users
1.

Close Objective First if you are running it.

2.

In your Mac's Applications folder, navigate to the following

folder: Cambridge/CambridgeContent/Uninstall_Objective
First content.

3.

Open the Uninstall_Objective First content folder, doubleclick the file called Uninstall Objective First content, then
follow the onscreen instructions.

4.

Once the uninstallation procedure has finished, go back to the

Cambridge folder. In this folder, find the Objective First
application icon. Drag this icon into the Trash to complete the
Objective First uninstallation.

Note: You will need to manually remove the file User instructions
from your system if it is no longer needed. The User instructions file
is located where the Objective First content was copied during
installation (For example, on Windows if you chose the default
location, then User instructions will be in C:\Program
Files\Cambridge\CambridgeContent).

Uninstalling Objective Advanced from your

computer

5. Click Remove (Windows XP) or Uninstall (Windows Vista and 7).
The Objective Advanced application is removed.
6. Next, click on Objective Advanced content to highlight it, click
Change/Remove (Windows XP) or Uninstall (Windows Vista and
7) and follow the onscreen instructions.
Mac users
1. Close Objective Advanced if you are running it.
2. In your Mac's Applications folder, navigate to the following
folder: Cambridge/CambridgeContent/Uninstall_Objective
Advanced content.
3. Open the Uninstall_Objective Advanced content folder,
double-click the file called Uninstall Objective Advanced
content, then follow the onscreen instructions.
4. Once the uninstallation procedure has finished, go back to the
Cambridge folder. In this folder, find the Objective Advanced
application icon. Drag this icon into the Trash to complete the
Objective Advanced uninstallation.
Note: You will need to manually remove the file User instructions
from your system if it is no longer needed. The User instructions file
is located where the Objective Advanced content was copied
during installation (For example, on Windows if you chose the
default location, then User instructions will be in C:\Program
Files\Cambridge\CambridgeContent).

Uninstalling Complete IELTS bands 5-5.6 from

your computer
The installation of Complete IELTS bands 5-5.6 consists of two
parts:
Complete IELTS bands 5-5.6 content
Complete IELTS bands 5-5.6 application
To completely uninstall the Complete IELTS software, you must
uninstall both parts by following the steps below:
Windows users
1.

Close Complete IELTS if you are running it.

2.

From the Start menu, open the Control Panel.

3.

Double-click Add or Remove Programs (Windows XP) or

Programs and then Programs and Features (Windows Vista
and 7);

4.

Find Complete IELTS bands 5-5.6 application in the

products list and click it to highlight it.

5.

Click Remove (Windows XP) or Uninstall (Windows Vista and

7). The Complete IELTS bands 5-5.6 application is removed.

6.

Next, click on Complete IELTS 5-5.6 content to highlight it,

click Change/Remove (Windows XP) or Uninstall (Windows
Vista and 7) and follow the onscreen instructions.

Mac users
1.

Close Complete IELTS if you are running it.

2.

In your Mac's Applications folder, navigate to the following

folder: Cambridge/CambridgeContent/Uninstall_Complete
IELTS bands 5-5.6 content.

3.

Open the Uninstall_Complete IELTS bands 5-5.6 content

folder, double-click the file called Uninstall Complete IELTS
bands 5-5.6 content, then follow the onscreen instructions.

4.

Once the uninstallation procedure has finished, go back to the

Cambridge folder. In this folder, find the Complete IELTS
bands 5-5.6 application icon. Drag this icon into the Trash to
complete the Complete IELTS uninstallation.
