SYNOPSIS

INTRODUCTION
In the fast changing economic and financial scenario in the
world because of globalization and liberalization of the
economic and banking sector has/have to come out with the
new products which can be termed as product innovations in
banking sector.
Various innovative products have been introduced as they are
the need and the demand of the current economic situations
caused mainly because of globalization in the world economy.
So to function effectively in this changing milieu, banks needs
to overcome the limitation of the traditionally banking functions
and the services being delivered. The new products of banking
sector to name a few are: ATMs, Mobile Banking, SMS Banking,
Net Banking. The innovative product of banking industry has
simplified and fastened the financial transaction and has
accelerated the pace of growth of the economy.

REPORT TITLE
A Study on Customer Satisfaction of GE Healthcare regarding
MRI machines, Bangalore.
OBJECTIVES
1. To segregate the customers into existing, new and competitors customers.
2. To design specific questionnaire for each category of customers.
3. To ascertain factors that would encourage customers to purchase MRI
machines.
4. To ascertain factors that customers would consider while purchasing an MRI
Machine.
5. To ascertain which brand of MRI Machines do customers prefer.
6. To ascertain what are the features that the customers current MRI Machine
has that the GE MRI Machine does not have.

7. To ascertain what customers think about the after sales service of GE.
8. To ascertain what customers think about the cost and the performance of GE
MRI Machines.
9. To ascertain the how customers make purchase decisions.
10.To ascertain what mode of finance do customers usually prefer. For example,
loans, funded by hospital, funded by company, self.
11.To ascertain the market share of GE MRI Machines as compared to the
competitors market share.
12. To ascertain how many customers are willing to purchase new MRI
Machines or upgrade their current machine.
13.To ascertain what ranks customers give for the quality, service,
performance, and customer marketing support of GE MRI Machines.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Data Sources: Both primary Data and secondary Data
Research Technique: Descriptive Survey Research
Sampling Technique : The sampling technique used in this research is NonProbability sampling technique.
Sample size: The size of the sample in this survey is 65.
Method of Survey: Primary data will be collected from customers and noncustomers of GE Healthcare through questionnaire.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES

The data collected will be codified and tabulated for the purpose of analysis.

The percentage will be been drawn for the purpose of generalization.

The interpretations and conclusions will be drawn.

Suggestions will be provided based upon the findings.
