Reference

is made to the contents of the Instruction Circular Letter No. HRD/1302

dated

on the above subject wherein all concerned have been advised, amongst others,
to
maintain strict adherence to the following clauses of "General Conduct
policy,,
and Discipline
as
contained in Chapter-06 of Human Resources policy of the Bank
in force:
19'02'2013

Quote:
1.01 Every employee shalla) strictly abide by the rules including the amendments thereto from time to time.
b) observe, comply with and obey all orders and directives which may from time to time,
be given by any authority or authorities under whose jurisdiction,
superintendence or
control he/ she may, from time to time, be placed;
c) serve the Bank honestly and diligently,
d) use his/ her utmost endeavors to achieve the objectives of the Bank;

1.02 No employee shallb) undertake any business/ commercial activity either by him/ herself or through
agent
or as an agent of others;
c) be connected with the formation or management of
Joint Stock Company otherwise
than as an agent of the Bank;

1'03 No employee shall absenthim/ herself from duty, nor 1eave


the station, without obtaining
prior permission of the Competent Authority in writing. However,

in exceptional
circumstances verbai permission may be obtained to
be followed by written confirmation.

1.06 No employee shall-

d)

lend money in his/ her private capacity to or borrow money


from, or piace him/
herself under any pecuniary obligation to a broker, money
lender, an employee of the
Bank, a candidate seeking employment in the Bank
; or any firm or person having or
likely to have transaction with the Bank;

1'08 No employee shall live beyond his/ her means or indulge in ostentation on occasions
of
marriage or other ceremonies.

3.01 No employee shalla) take part directly in any political activity;


b) take part in any election to parliament or any local Authority in Bangladesh or
elsewhere, provided that he/she may exercise his/ her right of voting at such election.

Non-compliance of the rules/regulatory requirements etc. surely causes serious impediment
in
smooth accomplishment of the operational activities as well as discharging efficient
customer
care' Management holds zero tolerance approach to any non-compliance attifude to
ensure
effective organizational discipline as well as sound human resources development.

In this context, the General Conduct and Discipline Policy as contained under Chapter-06 of
Human Resources Policy of the Bank must be gone through by alt the employees
and
a

confirmation to this effect should be prepared as per following format and the scanned
copy of
the same to be sent to Human Resources Division at the earliest through e-mail
